Quiet & cosy 1 bedroom flat (40m2) nestled in a private courtyard. Metro Ternes.

Located in a friendly and safe environnement. I regularly occupy this apartment, so one might prefer more anonymous decor. Otherwise with pleasure art books, music, china, nice linen are at you disposal.
The guest who desires not to cook will find on the spot "Traiteurs", organic food stores, restaurants, bistrots, cafés. The guest who likes to cook has one of the best food market of rue Poncelet with fresh fish, meat, vegetable, fruits. My new combi-steam oven can be a treat for food lover. The KITCHEN : tiny ! Well equipped with appliances, cookware, The LIVING ROOM : marble dining table often used as a desk. Art books, Tivoli internet radio/music player, CD. High speed internet. A printer can be provided for a 1 month stay.
The BEDROOM-BATHROOM : confortable large single bed ( 120x190cm- 48x75 inches). I am sorry I couldn’t find and check the right box for the size of the bed.
The small batroom (shower) is on an open space with the bedroom. To visualise please see the plan. Toilets with lavabo in a separate room.
Local room for bicycles in the courtyard.
Taxis, buses and subway are right across the street.
For urban walks : Champs Elysées (5mn), Place de la Concorde (40mn), Le Louvre museum (45mn), airport shuttles (10mn). Montmartre : direct by bus or metro (20mn).
City walk lovers can do : from my place rue du faubourg St Honoré- go down until Concorde, Tuileries-Louvre or, Concorde-Tuileries- cross the Seine - Saint Germain des près and more ;)

Wonderful stay!

This house was perfect for our stay in Paris! Close to the multiple metro stops, restaurants, and shops. The place itself was very quiet while the street outside was lively. Mijo was extremely kind, thoughtful, and helpful. Would highly recommend!

Excellent stay, great host

The apartment is very well located with cafes and shops just outside. The Ternes metro station is less than a 2 minute walk away. Apartment is very nicely appointed and quiet. Great stay, and Mijo is a wonderful host! Highly recommend.

A visit to Paris

This place felt like home. It was great to be able to eat and enjoy our time together in this apartment. The location is wonderful for touring Paris, using metro and eating out nearby. Market and bakeries nearby. Mijo was kind and welcoming.

Charming Paris flat

The property is well located for walking the metro, and various buses. The timing decor was perfectly lovely. The tiny kitchen was well equipped. Nearby restaurants, bakeries and groceries that all of our needs. We hope to be able to return there in future.

Amazing Location

It was a pleasant experience from the moment we booked the apartment. The host was helpful, courteous and easy to communicate with. The location was ideal, close to metro, Arc de Triomphe and Champs Elysees. Plenty of eateries convenience and fashion stores just out from the apartment. The apartment was spacious, comfortable and fully equipped for our 1 week stay. Thank you Mijo for helping to make our time in Paris so enjoyable.

Lively Stay in the 8th

My sister and I had a wonderful visit in Paris and the apartment was perfect for our stay. We had everything we needed for our 7 nights. MiJo the owner was very easy to work with and she gave us a complete tour of the apartment and showed us how everything worked. The neighborhood has bakery right across the street that is wonderful. Many restaurants and shops near by and only a few streets from the Arc de Triomphe.

we have made at least 12 trips tp Paris in the last 10 years. This was first visit to the Ternes / Arch de Triumpe area.... Wonderful area with easy access to metro, busses and stores. Mijos apartment was the amazingly quiet and on a lovely courtyard. Mijo and Annick were great to work, with and her apartment absolutely suited our needs!

Petite but so efficient

Mijo’s apartment is quite petite (especially for those of us coming from homes in the States), but she has made it so very efficient that it was very comfortable. It’s a delightful area of the city and we totally enjoyed our time there. The kitchen is well laid out and well-equipped, but small enough that really only one person could be in there at a time. Mijo was a delight to work with and very concerned that all went well

Great apartment and great location

My wife and I were very pleased with our stay in Mijo’s apartment. It is inside a courtyard inside double doors leading to the street. Outside Paris is bustling but inside it is quite and very secure. It is on the ground floor and has easy access for luggage. Inside the apartment is well organized and had everything we needed. A nice sense of being at home in Paris

This cozy ground floor apartment gave me the feeling I wanted of feeling at home in Paris. A nice neighbourhood and friendly neighbours, easy grocery options, several cafés and boulangeries in the neighbourhood, an easy walk to the charming Parc Monceau. Mijo was a wonderful hostess, always available for questions or information about Paris, and is easy to talk to (speaks English perfectly though will engage you in French if you'd like). If she knows of things that will interest you, she will let you know. Interesting selection of music and books in the place. Almost literally across the street from Ternes metro and only a few blocks from the Etoile "hub" metro which gets you quickly to other hubs (Chatelet-Les Halles). I hope to stay again soon!

The Best

Staying at Mijo’s apartment was just the best. It is situated in an attractive quiet and secure courtyard with window boxes and shrubs. There is a metro just across the street and buses that go from outside the door. There are many places to eat or just have a drink close by and a bakery across the road. It is not far at all to walk to the supermarket and fresh food street market. The apartment itself is just perfect- well designed and thought out so u have everything u could possibly need - even a hidden washing machine which is super efficient - a dishwasher, fridge with freezer compartment, TV ….. There is plenty of wardrobe space with lots of hangers and the powerful shower is good and hot. Mijo herself is delightful- very friendly, helpful and speaks good English. She met us at the apartment and explained everything. In all, this is the best accommodation we have had in Paris. Highly recommended 😁

Cozy Apartment in Great Location!

The one bedroom apartment was very cozy for the two of us. The location couldn't be better! Close to two metro stations, bus stop, restaurants galore, grocery store and assorted shops for cheese, wine, bakery, etc. The owner was wonderful! She contacted us several times before we arrived to answer questions. She had information on Paris in the apartment. The bed is the same as most European beds that is two singles pushed together. The washer and dryer came in very handy and we used them frequently. It took us a while to figure out how to use the appliances and heat but we are silly Americans. We did not find air conditioning on some rather hot afternoons but we opened the windows and were able to get a nice cross breeze. The apartment is very small but very comfortable. There are a lot of the owners things in the apartment so it is a bit cluttered and many of the cabinets are locked but honestly with the location being so convenient we were seldom there. Thoroughly enjoyed staying at this apartment and would highly recommend!

Best stay ever! 100% Would Recommend

My husband and I rented this property for 9 days. We were in Paris for our wedding. This property is exactly as listed and shown in pictures. The owner has literally thought of everything for her guests comfort and convenience! I will start with the rooms: Kitchen - Perfect size (it's small but incredibly efficient!) It had all the dishes, pots, pans, utensils that we needed and more. There is a microwave, dishwasher (the cutest one I've ever seen), fridge, kettle, bodum, Nespresso machine etc...Literally a fully equipped kitchen. Bathroom - Once again, fully equipped with everything you need, soap, TP, towels and also has collapsible clothing rack for drying clothes. Living/Dining room-Utterly adorable with a good sized table for two, couch, chair, washing machine, tv, stereo, beautiful windows that overlook the quiet courtyard. There are a lot of guide books as well as an incredibly well laid out guide for the apartment. It contains everything you need to know. In fact Mijo has labelled everything perfectly so there is never a question about what is what. The bedroom contains a comfy bed with extra blankets, and linens etc. There is a large wardrobe with tons of hangers. In fact the apartment has hooks on all the doors for your clothes as well. We overpacked and all our clothes/shoes fit in the cabinets and wardrobe. The shower is perfect pressure and roomy. The separation of the shower and the sink is delightful and made the space so much more usable! There are plenty of towels too. The sink area is perfect size and had a convenient hamper to keep our used clothes in so we could wash them later. There were converters for our CDN plugs too! The apartment was spotless and full of character. The flowers outside the window just added to the charm! The location was perfect. The Ternes subway is across the street. there are delicious restaurants, cafes and a pharmacy all within a minute walk. There is a beautiful market with everything you need as well as a small supermarket for the supermarkety type things. The Arc de Triomphe is a 10 minute walk (max). There is excellent shopping in the area and it is incredibly safe and quiet (fewer tourists) than the Marais, Montmarte or the Latin area. I would stay again in a heartbeat! The owner Mijo is delightful and genuinely cares about her guests. Her friend Suki, who was our go to if there were any questions was equally as delightful and had some great tips for us to enjoy Paris :-)

Appartamento d'atmosfera ma.....

Appartamento parigino d'atmosfera. Più che un appartamento in affitto sembra una casa privata e vissuta in cui la proprietaria è appena uscita. Forse per questo ho avuto qualche problema con lei per avere spostato qualche libro o cd ( a disposizione dell'ospite) e non averlo inserito esattamente al suo posto nella libreria. Abbiamo avuto lo stesso problema per aver usato in 6 giorni un paio di asciugamani in piu' comunque disponibili e che non mi era stato comunicato di non utilizzare. L'unica difetto è un bagno non molto funzionale non all'altezza dell'appartamento e del suo costo. Avrebbe necessità di essere ristrutturato (doccia e soffitto corrispondente) inoltre la testiera del letto e' in tessuto e dunque poco igienica. L'appartamento è molto tranquillo in un cortile interno, comodo alla metro e ai servizi.

Couldn't have been better

I can't believe how lucky I was to find this apartment -- and this owner! The apartment is perfect: charming, clean, serene and ideally located. It was a lovely oasis to come home to after a busy day in Paris. So quiet and yet only steps from everything. I hope to stay there again!

Excellent accommodations

The host was extremely helpful. Because of all the health protocols, she personally escorted me to get my health pass at the pharmacy, interpreting so I got exactly what I needed so I could enjoy all the restaurants in Paris. I felt very well taken cared of. The neighborhood is vibrant and walking distance to the sights and food of Paris. When I return to Paris, I’d definitely return to this apartment

Residential/commercial locale. Quiet, safe, not touristy. BEST authentic sushi in Paris next door. Good cafés, nice stores in area. M. on corner, buses to all locales. Mijo is an exc, responsive host, very easy to work with. The apt, on two inner courtyards, is small, no view, not much light. It's a typical French, inner city apt whose locale will give you an idea of every-day city life.

Perfect and cosy place in beautiful part of Paris!

A lovely spot in the heart of Paris. All comfort in the appartment, a nice and homy atmosphere, and a very kind owner. The place is surprisingly quiet so nearby a busy street in the center. The neighbourhood is also very nice, typical 'Parisien', with all facilities and enjoyable streetlife just arond the corner. A very good spot to start from and connect to all interesting culture in this beautiful city.

PARFAIT

Séjour fantastique de plus d'un mois (septembre-octobre) dans cet agréable appartement si bien aménagé. On s'y sent comme chez soi et on le quitte avec regret. Il donne sur une petite cour intérieure bien fermée, loin de l'animation des rues voisines et des bruits de la ville. L'intérieur est plus que parfait, pièces séparées et bien réparties. La cuisine et la douche offrent de très bonnes dimensions. Lit extrêmement confortable. Lessiveuse-sécheuse très pratique. Il y a du chauffage que l'on active et contrôle soi-même. Divertissement maison : wifi, télé, système de son, CD, et beaucoup de superbes livres sur l'art. Après une journée de marche et de visites dans Paris, c'était un plaisir de se retrouver le soir dans ce joli appartement sécuritaire et paisible. Tous les commentaires sont exacts. Idéalement situé et à proximité de tout : à 10 minutes à pied de l'Arc de triomphe, à 2 pas du métro Ternes et de lignes d'autobus, face à une boulangerie, près de divers magasins d'alimentation et de vin, de restaurants, de cafés, de bars. La propriétaire, Mme Chateau, est tout à fait charmante, gentille et prévenante. Elle est si attentionnée qu'elle s'inquiète de notre confort et téléphone pour vérifier si tout va bien, si nous avons besoin de quelque chose, et répond à nos moindres interrogations. Pour ceux qui veulent visiter Paris quelque temps, c'est vraiment le logis idéal.

Sehr schöne Wohnung in sehr guter Lage

Die Wohnung ist sehr gepflegt und bestens ausgestattet. Die Vermieterin ist sehr freundlich und um das Wohlergehen ihrer Gäste besorgt. Die Anbindung der Wohnung an öffentliche Verkehrsmittel ist hervorragend. Trotz der zentralen Lage ist die Wohnung, da im Innenhof gelegen, sehr ruhig. Einziger kleiner Wermutstropfen: durch die Erdgeschosslage sieht man kaum Himmel oder Sonne. Letzteres erweist sich bei Hitzetagen wiederum als echter Vorteil.
