Cliffside home in spectacular Redonda Bay

Casa Paz is a stunning cliffside 4-bedroom oceanfront vacation rental in exclusive Redonda Bay . It's a two story home which unique feature includes an open floor plan, allowing you to enjoy the amazing views throughout the home. Step outside and be prepared to take in one of the most incredible views ever. Miles of ocean and untouched coastline, and on certain days you even have a majestic view of Costa Rica...simply amazing!

Our hope at Casa de la Paz is that you can completely unwind and truly feel the peace and tranquility of this special space. The outdoor area is set up with a large covered deck, in addition to an open area that surrounds the pool. The new, expanded pool at Casa Paz was completed in 2022 and only enhances this outdoor paradise; you may never want to leave the backyard:). A small pathway will take you to a smaller deck...enjoy this special platform to practice yoga, or simply sunbathe, and watch the birds and ever changing pulse of the ocean. Whales have even been known to play in our 'backyard' during certain seasons...
If you ever decide to leave the house (you may never want to), you will find the private beach of Redonda Bay a short 5 minute walk away. The sunsets at the beach are by far some of the most beautiful:-) You may even wish to rent a paddleboard or kayak to watch the sunset from your own special place in the bay...

Sun, surf, miles of coastline, volcanoes, monkeys, delicious food, rich culture, and genuine people...these are just a few of the things waiting for you here.

Casa Paz is equipped with all the extras (including a full backup generator!) for those times when the area experiences power outages.
This wood home is warm and comfy, and was built using all local materials, from the clay floor tiles, to local stone sinks. It has two large master bedrooms, with ensuite bathrooms, in addition to two other queen bedrooms. It’s a perfect home for couples, families or a small group.

Lastly, the owners of Casa Paz lived in Nicaragua for 7 years, so they can answer many of the questions you may have about this special country.

Spectacular

We had the absolute best time! Thank you to our host, Megan, for helping us with all our questions and transfers prior to our arrival. Muchas Gracias to Jaqueline and her husband for taking impeccable care of us, the pool and the house. We are so grateful for all their kindness and help during our stay. There is no doubt we will return to this remote yet pristine haven. It was hard to ever leave the house with the sounds of waves crashing on the cliffs below while hanging in the hammock or floating in the pool. When a change of scenery was required we would take the short walk down the driveway and down a small hill to the empty beach below and play in the waves until it was time to go back to the pool. We can’t say enough about how spectacular our stay was at this magnificent property!

Excellent house!

Our family and friends had a great time at this beautiful house. Pictures dont do this place justice! It is spectacular and only a 5 minute walk to Aqua beach, which is wonderful. The service was great as well, will definetely come again! Thanks for everything Megan!

Casa Paz

I have stayed at casa Paz and number of times over the past few years . I would like to share that the property is amazing, the house immaculate, and the services impeccable. The concierge service of nica retreats Octavio, Megan, Mike and staff were excellent. Everything was smooth and easy . I recommend this property to anyone who wants a deluxe Nicaragua retreat !

Beautiful house overlooking the ocean

I stayed at Casa de la Paz with several friends for the holiday season and we had the most wonderful experience. The house itself is beautifully built with lovely hardwoods and custom furniture. There are floor to ceiling windows all around so the house is full of light and feels very serene. There are many spaces to spend the day, both inside and out, with wonderful views of the ocean and coastline. The patio area is huge and was great for yoga, laying by the pool, and evening dinners. There were a lot of fun amenities that made it pretty luxurious too, like the waster/dryer and flat screen TVs in every room. Also, the most beautiful white-sand beach (and restaurant/bar) are only a 5 min walk down the hill for when you want to trade the pool for an ocean swim. The owner and the manager, Octavio, were both very helpful and quick to respond to any questions we had. Octavio helped us arrange transportation, answered household questions, and even brought us a bottle of local rum for New Years Eve. They were all so kind and welcoming. It was the perfect mix of natural beauty and luxury accommodations for a group getaway in December. I think we all agree that we'd happily go back one day.

A Spectacular Retreat for Mind, Body & Soul

Recently my husband and I had the pleasure of staying at Casa Paz. We both had never visited Nicaragua so we had no idea what to expect but were ready for anything. The home and the tranquil location far exceeded our expectations! The home is absolutely stunning with views that will take your breath away. Casa Paz was immaculately clean and had everything that you would need during your stay. If you are someone who appreciates a home that has a minimalist aesthetic but with warmth and character, you will love Casa Paz. I felt at home right away! One of my fondest memories was waking before sunrise and making my way to the yoga platform that is located right in the back yard. Beginning my day enjoying the stillness, the ocean below, the landscape and the warm breezes was simply amazing! Witnessing the sunrise was just icing on an already lovely cake. Although this trip it was only myself and my husband, the home is perfect for more than one family. The bedrooms are comfortable and the open plan of the home felt spacious and inviting. We really enjoyed how this home invites the outside in. Most days we left the doors opened and relished in the ocean breezes that came through the house. If you are a surfer you will be thrilled! Nica Retreat's provided my husband with a surf board and a ride to the boat where he would then go to the surf break. Yoga is my thing so it was so fantastic to have my own private yoga deck right in the back yard overlooking the ocean. Aside from this yoga deck there is another room that is an extension of the Master bedroom that was the perfect place to practice yoga, meditate or just enjoy the view. For the yoga practitioner, this is more than enough. However, Aqua Resort is just down the hill from Casa Paz. I was able to walk to their yoga deck and participate in their group yoga classes. The view from Aqua's yoga deck is also ridiculously breathtaking! Nothing like a sweaty, sunset yoga class to wind down your day! I could go on and on about my experience. Nica Retreats not only provided us with a beautiful home to spend our stay but I can't say enough about the staff that assisted us with transportation, meals, grocery shopping, amenities, a bit of the history of Nicaragua and just their kindness and patience with our not so fluent spanish...stellar folks! Muchas gracias to Megan and Mike for allowing us to stay in Casa Paz. Casa Paz embodies it's name perfectly. I am already imagining our return!
