Over the Med

Great location with a deck that overlooks the Mediterranean. We had an easy access to the Valley of Temples, Palermo and Segesta. We would recommend this place to anyone.

The property boasts one of the best views of Sciacca and the sea I have seen! Sit on the terrace, glass of wine In hand and marvel at the tranquility and beauty of the coastline. Our hosts were respectful and so helpful if ever there was a concern and the property was perfectly located ... a short drive to Sciacca or San Marco beach . We would definitely recommend Villa Venezia to anyone interested in exploring the Agrigento province and beyond! Loved it 👍

Trip of a Lifetime

The view was spectacular. Accommodations were adequate. Owners were pleasant. The pictures and description of property were misleading. They present the property as a single downstairs unit with a roof top patio. The actual entrance in a narrow iron staircase up to a loft unit and patio with the owners living downstairs. My son kept hitting his head because of the loft ceiling angles. My daughter and I couldn't have managed even the luggage without my sons' assistance. If anyone with any physical limitations booked it, they would never be able to stay.

Soggiorno indimenticabile.

Giuseppe ci ha guidato dalla discesa dal traghetto a Palermo fino a Villa Venezia dandoci tutte le istruzioni necessarie. La villa si affaccia su un panorama mozzafiato. Appartamento molto pulito, ben attrezzato e dotato di ogni confort. Il giardino è paradisiaco, ricco di ogni tipo di fiori, curato con grande devozione dalla moglie Yrina. Ci siamo trovati molto bene, consigliamo vivamente.

Sehr ruhige, traumhafte Lage mit grandoser Aussicht aufs Meer über sehr schönen Garten. Die Wohnung unterm Dach ist mit allem notwendigem ausgestattet. Die Gastgeber sind sehr reizend und unkompliziert. Sciacca ist eine eher unattraktive Stadt. Für uns war dieser Standort Ausgangspunkt den Westen und Süden der Insel zu erkunden. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt

Spektakuläre Aussicht aufs Meer

Wir haben zwei wundervolle Wochen im August in der Ferienwohnung von Iryne und Giuseppe verbracht. Das Highlight ist natürlich die große Terrasse, von der man einen wirklich grandiosen Ausblick auf das Meer hat. Durch die Markise und den angenehmen Wind kann man sich auch in der Mittagssonne ohne Probleme sehr gut aufhalten und auf den Liegen relaxen. Die Wohnung selbst ist sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet. Es ist alles vorhanden, was man für einen Strandurlaub braucht, auch Badetücher und Sonnenschirm. Die beiden Schlafzimmer verfügen über eine ordentliche Klimaanlage. Die Waschmaschine im Abstellraum haben wir oft genutzt. Iryne und Giuseppe sind sehr nette und zuvorkommende Vermieter. Die Kommunikation lief sehr gut und wir haben tolle Ausflugstipps, Zitronen, Wein und Bananen bekommen. Vielen Dank für den tollen Urlaub, wir vermissen die Terrasse und das Meeresrauchen jeden Tag.

Gute Lage gute Laune

Schon vor Reisebeginn hat uns Giuseppe per WhatsApp kontaktiert und uns erste Infos zur Anreise zukommen lassen. Die Beschreibungen passten genau. Er nahm uns mit einem freundlichen, gewinnenden Lächeln in Empfang, spricht zwar wenig englisch, konnte seine Nachrichten aber eindeutig und freundlich vermitteln während der Wohnungsbesichtigung. Wir konnten ihn jederzeit mit Fragen und Problemen ansprechen, was wir bzgl. Badestränden, Sehenspwürdigkeiten auch gerne taten und jedesmal gute Infos erhielten. Auch als unser Rückflug storniert wurde, war er spontan zur Hilfe und gab uns eine zweite Wohnung, da unsere im Anschluss wieder vermietet war. Die gemietete Whg hat einen tollen Blick auf das Meer und auf die Stadt, die ca 3km entfernt ist. Beim Frühstück auf der Terasse wird man mit einem tollen Blick auf die zurückkehrenden Fischerboote erfreut. Die Wohnung verfügt über Klinaanlage in den Schlafzimmern, die uns gute Dienste leisteten. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet, eine Grundausrüstung Gewürze, Kaffee und Nudeln war vorhanden. Den Fernseher haben wir nicht ausprobiert, war aber vorhanden. Die zur Begrüssung auf dem Tisch gefundene Flasche sizilianischen Rotwein haben wir uns dann auch gerne schmecken lassen. Alles in allem eine sehr empfehlenswerte Wohnung bei einem sehr gastfreundlichen und tollen Vermieter. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder.

Traumhafte Wohnung

Über diese Ferienwohnung kann man nur Gutes sagen: ein traumhafter Blick von einer riesigen Terrasse auf das nahe azurblaue Meer, drinnen geräumig, praktisch und schön eingerichtet. Optional zu öffnende/schließende Fensterläden verhindern, dass sich die Wohnung aufheizt. Ausgesprochen nette Gastgeber, die uns mit einer Flasche Rotwein und duftenden Zitronen aus dem liebevoll und gepflegten Garten empfangen haben.

Beautiful Holiday Flat with a Phantastic View

The host Giuseppe and Iryna were always friendly, helpful and approchable. You got always a very quick answer. The beautiful flat was very clean and the air condition good and necessary in a attic flat. The flat in the Villa of the owner is located in a quiet part Contrada Foggia at the edge of Capo San Marco. The view to the sea and to Sciacca is phantastic. After an eventful day we could everytime relax. Thank you very much for nice holyday.

Our host, Giuseppe Venezia, welcomed my wife and I as though we were long lost friends. A very understanding and giving man, Giuseppe answered our questions in easily to understand answers. And his recommendations for sites to see as well as restaurants to visit. I could not ask for more. Guiseppe was more than prepared for our arrival. With the Mediterranean Sea and the gentle breezes neither my wife or I can find anything negative to our stay. We highly recommended site for those visiting Sicily in and around the Sciacca region.

Wonderful holiday

This is a truly spectacular apartment. Comfortable and well equipped, the views from the terrace are amazing at all times of day as the light changes. We spent many a happy hour just sitting on the terrace watching the boats and admiring the beautiful garden. It is well placed to visit a large part of north-west Sicily, the only reason for not giving 5* for every aspect is that we do like to eat out on holiday and while Sciacca is well supplied with good restaurants, there is nowhere, unless you like pizza, to eat within walking distance. Giuseppe and Iryna are welcoming, helpful, but unobtrusive hosts. Thoroughly recommended.

Fin vistelse i Sciacca

Vi bodde fem personer i åtta dagar i denna trevliga lägenhet. Den rymliga terrassen har plats för flera solstolar, matbord samt även för att hänga tvätt, och utsikten över havet är helt fantastisk. Lägenheten är ren och fräsch, och fullt utrustad med allt man behöver, även strandhanddukar. I köket finns ett rymligt matbord, om man föredrar att äta inomhus istället för på terrassen. Trädgården är extremt välskött och vacker, och har också en liten stig ner till havet, på fem minuter är man nere vid klippor där man kan bada. Föredrar man sandstrand finns det flera bra stränder i närområdet, på kort bilavstånd. Villakvarteret är mycket lugnt, det finns en trevlig restaurang på gångavstånd och till centrum i Sciacca är det ca 15 minuter med bil. Staden är välskött och fin och erbjuder både shopping, fina promenader och restauranger. Ägarna till lägenheten är mycket trevliga och hjälper gärna till med tips och råd om man så önskar.

Un appartement confortable avec une vue imprenable

Les propriétaires sont particulièrement attentifs aux moindres détails, et , pour citer un illustre Italien, "Les détails font la perfections, et la perfection n'est pas un détail". Il n'est donc pas étonnant que cette adresse mérite 5 étoiles . -La qualité de la prestation : il ne manque vraiment rien ! - La position dominante de la terrasse , avec une vue à 180° sur la mer. - La maison et son beau jardin exotique "pieds dans l'eau",( la mer étant accessible par un petit escalier) . Des propriétaires charmants , toujours disponibles , mais sans contraintes ...Bref , trois semaines de ciel bleu ,sur un petit nuage ,(un comble) et proche du paradis ...!!

Beautiful Sea Views

We enjoyed our stay in this charming apartment. We arrived late at night (midnight) and Guiseppe was kind enough to meet us and show us the way to the apartment and help us get settled. The apartment had all the amenities that a family or a couple would need for their vacation. The location is excellent for exploring the West side of Sicily, though you do need a car. The views of the Mediterranean Sea and Sciacca are fabulous, regardless of the weather. We hope to return for another visit.
