Wonderful newly remodeled studio apartment with queen size bed, small kitchenette with table and 2 chairs and a large bathroom. The living space has been redesigned, and the bathroom remodeled from scratch. The improvements include a new closet, new paint, Hi-speed WiFi, new tiles in the bathroom, new bathtub, and more.

This unit is conveniently located in a quiet area with quick access to the 280 freeway and within blocks of public transportation. Plenty of street parking available. Stern Grove and The Stonestown Shopping Gallery are a short 5-10 minute walk away. Lake Merced and Lakeshore Plaza are also within walking distance (less than 1 mile away).

The little basement apartment was cozy and in a very nice neighborhood near Stern Grove park and west of 19th Ave. Everything needed for cooking was available, the bed was comfortable and the landlord was readily available. It was tiny but comfortable, and reasonably priced.

Great location for what we needed to accomplish and the apartment had everything we needed. However it could have been a little cleaner (cobwebs and dust here and there, mold in the kitchen sink strainer). Mike was easy to reach and very responsive. The price was fair for the apartment. Thank you

The place was clean and well equipped. No parking problems. Walking distance to shops. The host responded quickly to questions. One suggestion: although sheets and blankets were clean, they should be replaced. Good deal in quiet location.

I was happily surprised that the B&B was larger and more spacious than I thought from the photos. The bathroom itself was excellent and I enjoyed soaking in the large tub! The host communicated well. The kitchen was good and I cooked and ate several meals there. A dishtowel would have been helpful. And some of the dishes were initially dirty but in the cupboards, so that could have been improved. Also the cleanest pan I found was not flat on the bottom, so difficult to cook evenly. But minor problems well balanced out by the spaciousness and upkeep of everything in general. The bed was very comfy and although I was concerned about sharing it with my daughter it was plenty big for us to each have our own space. Very pleasant surprise.

This apartment is a terrific location when visiting San Francisco. Located on a quiet street with lots of parking available. My wife and I have rented this unit 4 times in the past 6 years and look forward to another visit soon.

We had a great stay for Thanksgiving week. Great location for access to both the city and the highway to South Bay. Quiet neighborhood with plenty of free parking. Close to grocery stores and light rail to the business district. We had one small snag during our stay but Mike quickly responded and resolved the issue. This may not be the most luxurious unit but it met all of our needs and we would happily stay there again!

This property was perfect for our 5 day stay in San Francisco. Super safe and quiet neighborhood, wide streets with plenty of space for parking if you have a car, clean and well-appointed apartment. Mike has thought of everything one could need for their stay. The bed is incredibly comfortable, the shower and bathroom are spacious and the kitchen is just the right size with everything we needed if we wanted to cook a meal. We loved it and hope to return.

Nice basic accommodation near West Portal

Basic but comfortable lower floor apartment in a very quiet neighborhood with ample street parking. West Portal area is within easy walking distance for Muni trams and restaurants. I recommend and would stay again.
