About Emmanuelle Neie
Born and raised in Paris, after living in Italy, Germany and the States our encounter with the city of Amsterdam was a kind of revelation. We immediately fell in love with the city and in particular the Jordaan area and bought our gorgeous apartment!! We are spending as much time as we can in Amsterdam and love to share it with our guests!
Emmanuelle Neie purchased this Apartment in 2005
Why Emmanuelle Neie chose Amsterdam-Centrum
After living 3 years in Amsterdam, we sadly enough had to leave the country. We bought this charming apartment in a house which just had been totally renovated in the best dutch way. It is now our love nest when as a family we spend our vacation back in Amsterdam.
What makes this Apartment unique
The Jordaan is a unique area in Amsterdam. Full of trendy café and restaurant but also of artist workshops and Boutique, we totally fell in love with the surroundings and in particular with our house which had just got totally restructured. The garden was the last thing that totally convinced us, how fantastic to be so central but yet so quiet. We love to be able to enjoy a peaceful garden on our own!

All the amenities that you will need in a well-located but quiet area.
The apartment was spacious, clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. Well-located, assuming that you like to walk a bit. We weren't able to enter until later than expected so sat for a cup of coffee and a snack at the cafe on the corner.
Thanks you Phillys for staying with us. Despite your late change of flight schedule we luckily managed to schedule a new check in apointment and had offered to you to leave the keys at a key service conveniently located close to the train station in case you did not wish to wait. The new agreed on check in time was for 5:30 to 5:45 and Ariane was there shortly before 5:30. When you come back on the 1st, you can drop your luggage anytime after 9 am and dispose of the apartment after 12 am. Best regards
Great place to stay
My wife, son(13), and I just spent a week at the apartment and loved it. Ground floor( no steps!!!!), beautiful garden- we spent a lot of time hanging out there. A great location in the Jordaan . Just minutes to walk to everything. Whirlpool bath and good water pressure. Easy communication with the owner. Will gladly stay there again.
Dear Richard and family, thank you for your kind words. You are welcome anytime!
Great stay in Amsterdam
This was a great apartment for my family (2 adults with 2 kids - 4 years old and 1 year old). It was located on the ground floor so it was a great relief not having to lug up huge suitcases up the steep and narrow staircases that Amsterdam is known for. The apartment had everything we needed for the week that we stayed there and the owner maintained prompt and helpful communication with us throughout our stay. Overall, it was a really good sized apartment.
The only negative of this apartment was the noise. Because of the proximity of the bedroom to the entrance of the building and the street, it can sometimes be quite noisy late into the night and early morning.
I would definitely consider staying in this apartment if I ever return to Amsterdam!
Thank you Delphine for staying with us! Please come back anytime
wonderful apartment made for a wonderful visit to Amsterdam
Our 10 day stay in Amsterdam was made wonderful by living in Emmanuelle's lovely apartment. First, Emmanuelle is a super correspondent not only about the apartment but also about lots of other touristic questions I asked her. Second, everything in her apartment works so it is a pleasure to cook there, to sleep there and even to do laundry there. Third, it is about 2 blocks from the nearest tram stop which can take you north directly to the Central Station or south to the many museums. Fourth, the neighborhood gives one a real feel for life in Amsterdam, that is, if you are lucky enough not to get run down by the multitude of bicycles coming from every direction. Fifth, Emmanuelle has an aide and neighbor who are available just in case. And last, there is her lovely patio out back. What more could one ask for???
Thank you so much Steven for your kind words, come back any time!
The apartment has all the necessities. The back yard is lovely and nice for sitting in warm weather. The location is close to both the bus and the tram and two bus stops to Amsterdaam Centraal. My only wish is that the apartment had a better light for reading.
Thank you Linda for staying with us and for your suggestion. A couple of our reading lamps seemed to have been damaged lately, i will be replacing them.
