This cozy upstairs two bedroom/one bathroom apartment is just a short walk to the beach! After a perfect day at the beach, you can hang out on the screened porch or elevated sundeck. Inside you can kick back and relax in the living room which features updated furnishings and a TV with ROKU streaming capabilities (no cable, must log into your own account or use free applications) . If you want to bring a larger group with you, both floors of this home (see Carolina Blvd 200 Down) can be rented together totaling four bedrooms and two baths.

1500 sq. ft. Linens included. No washer/dryer, no icemaker. No smoking. Wi-Fi included. **Dog considered for $150 non-refundable fee, provided dog is not left alone at the home. Full time residents live nearby**

Adorable&comfy cottage 2 blocks from beach

Clean and roomy. Perfect space for family with 2 children. Nice kitchen and eating room. Very spacious living room. Easy and safe walk to the beach. My 3 year old granddaughter absolutely loved it. We plan to make it an annual ritual!

Great short stay!

We loved our few days here! The house was perfect for our family of four and our dog. Super cute and cozy. Beds were comfy, living room was spacious and cozy for our whole family to relax. One bathroom is a stretch and it’s tiny but we made it work and it was fine. Location was great. Absolutely gorgeous neighborhood and easy walk to beach. Nice location in between IOP and Mount Pleasant and easy drive to Charleston. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect stay

We loved our stay. We were getting away from the destruction, lack of water, power and WiFi in Asheville after Helene. This was the perfect reset and recharge. The screened porch was so lovely and the short walk to the beach was done several times a day. Thanks for making us a home away from home! Also the outdoor shower was key for keeping sand iutside and was even complete with hot water!

Wonderful stay on Isle of Palms

Found the property to be incredibly convenient, in one of our most favorite places in America--Isle of Palms near Charleston. House is comfy and clean. Screened porch is fantastic for morning coffee and sunrise. Beaches are fantastic too, watched surfing, walked our dog (allowed in fall) and so much more. Check in and key pick up communication was the only part lacking. Thank you, we plan to be back again!

Perfect Location

The house was the perfect location for my husband and I and our golden doodle. The purpose of our visit was to celebrate with our Mount Pleasant family and having a place so close to the beach made our afternoon visits with our grandchildren perfect. The yard was perfect for our puppy and grandchildren to run around in.

Great location for the price

The property was as advertised, with a nice and comfy living room. A short walk to the beach and nice screened in porch, as well as a deck. We came for Thanksgiving and the kitchen was well-provisioned!

Staycation

We had an amazing time at this property. The location is amazing, so close to the beach. The porch was our favorite place to enjoy coffee! Coming back from the beach there is a place to clean off your feet! All cooking things worked great! This really was a great place to relax. The TV set could use an update, which didn’t effect us too much but if you have kids who enjoy watching television before bed I would recommend bringing an HDMI cord or a DVD player! All in all we had a great stay and I would go back again for sure!

Good stay could be better

Overall a good stay. I appreciated maintenance brining in a roku. The TV being so old was definitely a big bummer at the end of the night, and while it was a rainy weekend the wifi was really spotty. An upgrade to a slightly bigger TV with better sound that’s made in the last few years would have made a big difference, it’s a cheap thing not to have in 2023.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I applaud the owners and island realty for giving an accurate description of this great house. The description was helpful, as it was an older house but recently updated, they noted that there was not a washing machine or dryer nor an icemaker. So we didn’t come expecting either of those and knowing the house was not new. The house was very clean and the beds were comfortable, mattresses even looked new. Plenty of closet space. We loved that the linens were provided, with plenty of extra towels, as well as towels in the kitchen. The walk to the beach was pretty short, and I am pretty picky about walking a long way to the beach. We love the screened in porch as well. There were no ice cube trays, so we bought one and left it and also purchased a bag of ice for our stay. The front door sticks, and there was a maintenance man working on it when we got there. The only other thing I would suggest is to bring some Tupperware if you are going to be cooking. Nothing really to store leftovers. Such tiny things to consider with such a great house. We will definitely come again and thought the price was fair for the rental.

Wonderful Location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was a great little house for our 5 guests and dog to enjoy for 11-nights. We especially loved the location of this property. It is closer to the breach inlet and a little farther away from the shops and restaurants. This may seem like a negative at first, but in peak season, this property's beach access leads to a much quieter, less congested area of the beach. The shops are still a quick bike ride or golf cart ride away. The walk to the beach is under 5 minutes. At first, we weren't sure if we were allowed to use the path that runs between two properties, but then we saw many people using it so assumed it was okay to do so. Without this pathway, the walk to the beach access path would be much longer. The house was exactly as described. It was clean, cute, and had a pretty well-stocked kitchen. There were plenty of sheets and towels which was great because this house is without a washer and dryer. We made one run to the launder mat in Mount Pleasant and that did the trick for us. This house is in a great location- close to the beach, IOP shops and restaurants, less than 30 minutes to Charleston. Best of all, it is a ten minute golf-cart ride to Sullivan's Island- our favorite place for great restaurants. This house may not be fancy or have the newest appliances, but if you are interested in a great location and great house at a reasonable price, I highly recommend it.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The apartment is good enough. The furniture is really outdated. Most the drawers don’t open on the dressers. The kitchen is a mix of 30 years of different pots, pans and appliances. We were in a pinch and needed a rental for 4 weeks so it worked for us. The apartment itself was very dirty with carpets and couches full of stains. Unless you are desperate or need it due to location I would look other places.

Gets the job done

This house is facilitated through a rental / realty company. That said, it was very difficult to contact them before check in. I sent several messages and emails with no response before I finally had to call. Front desk staff at the actual office was friendly, though. The house itself is fine - as other reviews said it’s rather outdated but it has (mostly) what you need for a beach rental. No beach towels were provided. There is no washer/dryer in the unit. The unit itself was clean, aside from some dirty dishes in the cabinets - and there were dishes in the dishwasher when we arrived. Wifi is very weak and went in/out frequently. We also were not given extra trash bags for our stay. I will say that the AC worked very well, kitchen had almost everything you needed, and the space was still clean. The screened in deck is lovely, and the location to the beach is perfect. There are just some modern upgrades this house could use that I believe are standard to have in 2024. At the end of the day, though, I would stay here again!
