A very nice terrace but...

A very nice terrace but with very difficult access: three levels of steep stairs. A dark and poorly ventilated kitchen, with rudimentary equipment. Cramped sanitary facilities. Too bad because Monopoly is full of charm.

Amazing location and friendly owner

We had a great time in Monopoli with my wife and our 3 years old son. the flat is in the historical centre of Monopoli with a great view of the city and the port. Very comfortable flat, fully equipped with a great terrace. highly recommended. The owner is very discrete, helpful and friendly.

Wunderbares Apartment inmitten der wunderbaren Altstadt von Monopoli

Das Appartement inmitten der Altstadt ist wunderbar gelegen . Es sind nur 5 Schritte bis zum Meer und die Terrasse mit Meerblick ist wunderbar. Die Wohnung hat alles was man braucht u ist liebevoll gestaltet. Die drei steilen Treppen (Terasse ist ganz oben , kücheganz unten) sollte man sich bewusst machen , sind aber für jüngere Leute gut zu bewältigen. Das Bett ist groß u komfortabel. Zwei Mini-Kritikpunkte könnten höchstens sein, das sehr kleine Bad u es wäre schön auf der wunderbaren Terrasse zwei Sonnenliegen zu haben um auch mal tagsüber zu relaxen. Ansonsten haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden jederzeit wieder eine Unterkunft von Anna buchen. Das Apartment ist ein super Ausgangspunkt um Apulien zu entdecken und Monopoli ist ein zauberhaftes Städtchen. Wir waren da vom15.9-25.9. 2017

Very deceiving, not a business women

1. Found a house of interest (house # 1) which showed available. 2. Owner (Anna) offered us to stay in an apt. until Sept 21 2015, until house # 1 was available and then move. 3. We agreed after owner showed us pictures of the apt. The pictures misrepresented reality. The living room with sofa bed was actually a hallway with a sofa bed a few feet from the entrance. 4. The Homeaway advertisement of the apt had no pictures or description of bathroom. We found that the shower had mold in it. 5. Smoke entered the apt from unit below and from the unit above but the apt rules were no smoking allowed. It was very uncomfortable. 6. The terrace was not what we expected and was shared rather than for our alone which was not expected. She described it as an equipped barbeque area but is was ill equipped and shared with another resident. 7. We were supposed to move to # 1 on Mon Sept 21 2015 but without consulting us she asked us and arranged for us to move on Sunday Sept 20. But we did not to our desired, contracted house #1 but instead to a house #2. She forced us to move there without giving us a choice. House #2 was not the quality of the #1 we expected to have. 8. When we mentioned we would like to have three guests (relatives from Spain) for 6 nights she at first balked but then said OK but move us to a house #2 which was inferior to house # 1 agreed upon. 9. While in each house we asked for a second set of keys she denied disapproved the request. We could not separate without making detailed plans for getting back in. 10. In both houses we were provided only one set on linens and towels forcing us to complete washing and drying them before being able to go to bed at night.

Charming typical house with view of Adriatic sea

The house was clean and well prepared at arrival. It was fully equiped and staying there was really comfortable. Despite the stairs are quite exhausting, it is worth to climb them every evening to have dinner at the terrace with the view of sea. And if you stay longer in the night even with fabulous shining moon :)

Die sieben Tage in dem wunderschönen Haus von Anna haben wir genossen. Die Aussicht auf der Terrasse ist ein Traum. Monopoli kann man ebenfalls nur weiterempfehlen. Anna ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Alles ein Grund, sobald wie möglich wiederzukommen.

Gezellig, schoon en comfortabel ingericht huis met fantastisch uitzicht vanaf het dakterras over zee en het oude Monopoli. De foto's en beschrijving geven een goede indruk van het huis. Anna en Guiseppe zijn erg gastvrij en vriendelijk, en hebben veel tips over Monopoli en de prachtige omgeving. ( o.a.Trullihuisjes in Alberobelle en mooi plaatsen als Lecce en Ostuni). Een aanrader!

wonderful days

We spent four wonderful days in Anna's apartment in Monopoli. Anna and her husband were extremely nice and helpful, providing us with useful information and recommendations regarding nearest beaches, cosy restaurants etc. The beautiful apartment is nicely located in the middle of the pittoresque 'centro storico' and therefore the perfect spot for anybody planning a trip to Monopoli. Highly recommended!

Great location!!

We absolutely loved Anna's apartment in Monopoli. Clean, comfortable, spacious, quiet, and in a great location. Giuseppe was very friendly and easy to work with even given our very late arrival after a delayed flight. She made fantastic restaurant recommendations for us and even offered to make the reservations for us. I highly recommend this apartment.

Una bellissima esperienza

Sono stata accolta benissimo essendo sola mi sono subito sentita a mio agio. La proprietaria è stata molto premurosa, ospitale, attenta ale nostre esigenze ed ha offerto tutte le notizie necessarie per il soggiorno nella struttura e in città. La casa ha una posizione ottima, nel centro storico a due passi dal centro della citta e dal mare, pulita, confortevole e con una deliziosa terrazza vista mare. Un posto dove sicuramente tornerò.

Settimana da sogno!!!!!!

Ho passato una settimana con il mio fidanzato in questo appartamento a dir poco fantastico!! La proprietaria e il suo staff sono stati efficentissimi e gentili con noi per tutto il soggiorno, la casa è una dimora tipica, completamente ristutturata e dotata di tutti i comfort! Ottima posizione, nel centro storico di Monopoli, tra monumenti e chiese, e a pochissimi passi dal mare!!! Ci torneremo sicuramente!!!

beautiful Monopoli

My girlfriend and I stayed in this apartment for a week. It was perfect !!! The apartment was equipped with everything you need, clean and the location is excellent, in the heart of the old town and with a beautifull equiped terrace sea view. Monopoli itself is gorgeous, the beach is lovely , only 100 meters from the house. Sea is clear,warm and very family friendly. There are plenty of great restaurants all within walking distance, and very reasonably priced. The whole area is really really safe and people are really friendly and warm. Anna and her team were a great hosts. their office is nearby, whatever problems you might have, they are right there to help you. I can honestly say this was the best apartment we had in our month-long trip to Puglia. Highly recommended. Thank you Anna for everything, we did really have a great time in beautiful Monopoli and will for sure come back.

"Yes, we would recommend ...

"Yes, we would recommend the house to a friend - but not my best friend because she has rheumatism and the stairs in the house are very steep, so old and handicapped people beware. All the others can enjoy very cute interieurs and an georgous terrace on the roof. If you travel with four persons you should really like each other because there are no doors just stairs between the rooms. We were four rather sportif people and liked it very much."

"Eine preiwerte, sehr zentral liegende Wohnung.Wir waren sehr zufrieden, trotz rieselnden Kalks und sich auflösender Versiegelung des Fußbodens. Wird aber nach Aussage des Vermieters im Winter 11/12 alles gerichtet. Die Wohnung liegt im Herzen von MONOPOLI, ist mit viel Liebe eingerichtet und sehr kompfortabel. Man kann alles zu Fuss erreichen. Abends ist immer etwas los, so dass Mann+Frau sich nicht langweilen müssen. Etwas Fitness sollte mitgebracht werden, den die Wohnung hat 4 Etagen. Die oberste Etage ist ein Dachgarten und mit allen, selbst Kochutenselien, ausgestattet, was das Herz begehrt. Die Wohnung ist nach Einbau einer Zentralheizung nun immer und auch für längere Aufendhalte nutzbar. Die Temperaturen in der Nachsaison 20 - 32 Grad sind i.O. Mit dem Auto ist''s nicht leicht, denn Du findest Parkraum nur vieleicht! Bitte an die Parkordnung halten, der Verstoss kostet Dich sonst mindestens € 45.-. Wir hatten einen schönen Urlaub und kommen wieder."

"L''appartement se trouve dans la ville de Monopoli, charmante cité médiévale qui a énormément de charme. Situé dans un immeuble ancien, au centre de la vieille ville mais au calme, proche des commerces et de la plage, il permet de garder une certaine fraîcheur très agréable, surtout dans la cuisine voutée. Décoré avec goût, il bénéficie d''une terrasse avec une vue absolument magnifique sur la mer et la vieille ville. Propre et bien équipé, il dispose de tout ce qu''il faut pour passer un excellent séjour. Certes, sa disposition en trois étages oblige les locataires à monter de nombreuses marches, mais, avec de l''organisation, on pallie très facilement ce désagrément!La vieille ville ne permettant pas de garer la voiture,il faut la laisser dans les rues de la ville nouvelle, à quelques rues de l''appartement, où il y a des places gratuites. Monopoli étant reliée à plusieurs routes, on peut facilement visiter l''arrière-pays très riche. Location très conseillée."

"Estupendas vacaciones las que hemos pasado en esta casa, decorada con muy buen gusto y en un marco excepcional, en el casco antiguo de la ciudad, una delicia para pasear por sus calles. La atención del propietario es muy cálida y gracias a su consejo conocimos Ostuni que no la teníamos programada.
