Beautiful spot

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, the pool was lovely and a real bonus. A few improvements could be made, for example the oven could do with being updated and we couldn’t find any trays for the oven, perhaps a hook for the shower so you could have the option of a stand up shower. But otherwise simple and lovely.

Hébergement trop cher par rapport aux prestations. La maison en pierres est magnifique mais elle n'est pas entretenue comme il faut, le ménage est pourtant facturé 60!!!!!! Seul point positif la piscine.

Un gîte charmant dans une région riches en activités

Christian est un hôte hors pair qui a fait le maximum pour que notre séjour se passe au mieux. La commune de Thonac est très dynamique et située à proximité directe de nombreux sites touristiques. Je recommande vivement de vous y arrêter!

DĂ©couverte de la Dordogne en famille

Séjour en famille très agréable dans une maison typique de la région. Le propriétaire est discret mais disponible. La maison est proche de Montignac et de nombreux sites de visite comme le château de Losse, le site du Thot et plutôt centrale pour profiter du Périgord Noir. Les plus : l’épicerie de Thonac, la pizzeria et la piscine particulièrement appréciable en période de forte chaleur.

Séjour très agréable, gite idéalement situé dans un petit village très bien desservi avec un commerce de proximité très pratique : épicerie, boulangerie, tabac, .. L'accueil et l'amabilité du propriétaire sont à souligner. En bref, très bien, séjour reposant et le petit plus : la piscine mise à disposition de tous !

Calm and quiet in a beautiful setting

This is a wing of a larger property, all on a single level accessible by stone steps. Parking is on grass in a large garden immediately in front of the balcony. The property was obviously restored some years ago and is now in need of a little refreshing as there are some things such cracked and loose floor tiles and the need, perhaps, for a proper shower facility. There was apparently no wi-fi that we could make out and we never managed to get a signal on the television. These were things which did not bother us too much as we were out and about so much. We could have discussed this with the ownwer who lived on site. The swimming pool was a real bonus. The property was not as well equipped as we woud have expected and we had to buy basics such toilet rolls and cleaning materials. There was very little in the way of tea, coffee, sugar etc or even condiments or a bottle of water in the fridge, not the best of situations after a long days travel. Overall, we were happy with the property but with a little effort it could have been better.

Idéalement situé pour profiter des sites touristiques. Vaste terrain clôturé et ombragé, parfait pour les enfants. Piscine grande, suffisamment loin du gîte pour ne pas stresser avec les enfants mais assez prêt pour y aller en 2 mn à pied.Hôte sympathique.Seuls bémols: Lit parental un peu petit à cause du cadre de lit pour les personnes grandes. Un rideau de douche serait le bienvenu pour limiter les éclaboussures. Bilan : une superbe semaine de vacances.

uniek pand, perfecte privacy, maar gebrekkig internet

Je krijgt een volledige vleugel van een kasteelhoeve als gite. Het is gelegen aan een groot boomgaardpark, helemaal voor jou alleen! Je gastheer is een heel vriendelijke man. het interieur heeft een "ziel" binnen die oude muren. Prima proper en goed sanitair. De keuken is een beetje aftands en is aan renovatie toe, maar je kan je behelpen.. Het enige echte gebrek -voor een modern gezin- is de zeer gebrekkige internetverbinding. in de streek. De ligging nabij Montignac is perfect om snel alle bezienswaardigheden van de PĂ©rigord Noir, Blanc en Pourpre te bezoeken.We hebben daar van een prachtig verblijf genoten en zullen er met weemoed aan terugdenken.

heerlijk verblijf voor een korte vakantie

De locatie was ideaal voor ons, een rustige vakantie met vier volwassenen die graag een goed bed wilden. de keuken was niet modern, maar we aten meestal warm in de buurt. De uitrusting was voldoende maar niet uniform, we vonden geen 4 gelijke glazen, de smaak van de wijn was er niet minder om. Het contact met de verhuurder was echt hartelijk en dat was voor ons de kers op de taart. De regio was top

Gite au calme très agréable.

Le gite est grand et bien équipé. Il est proche de nombreux sites à visiter dans la vallée de la Vézère. Très bon accueil. La piscine est un vrai plus.
