Apartment in a very quiet setting, located in the heart of the historic center of Monterosso, 2 minutes walk from the beach, shops and the main square.

Completely renovated and finely furnished, the apartment has a splendid terrace above with a wonderful view of the sea and the historic center and is accessed via a short condominium staircase.

The apartment, located on the second floor of a building of only 2 floors, consists of a spacious room with a comfortable sofa bed for two and a balcony with a splendid view, large kitchen, double bedroom, bedroom with bunk bed and bathroom. with bath and shower

Great location

Ideal location for exploring Cinque Terre. We had everything we needed in this apartment for our five day stay. Washing machine was a real bonus.

Love love love this place

This was our favorite place of the 4 homes we stayed in within Europe. It has a beautiful view and the location couldn’t have been more perfect. Great for families with children - the playground is super close! It is better than the pictures. We hope to return one day!

Magical Monterosso

A beautiful apartment with all the conveniences you could ask for! A great location, spacious rooms, and a rooftop patio with a view that is amazing. The host is gracious and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

Monterosso with a view

Property was as pictured and well maintained with nice touches as a family holiday home. The apartment location a nice distance away from the crowds of people during the day. The deck was a lovely oasis in the early evenings.

Great apartment with a rooftop terrace

Giovanna met us in the main square and gave us a thorough tour of the apartment. It was well stocked with everything you might need, and was a 2 minute walk to the shops and restaurants. Great apartment, great host.

This apartment was perfect for my little 3 person family - with room to spare. The view from the rooftop terrace is amazing and most of our time at the apartment was spent up there. The apartment had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful location

Fantastic location. Pictures from roof top patio do not do it justice. There is a beautiful view of the ocean and the property is only a few yards from the main center of town. There are a number of stairs to climb but not really a problem at all.

All you could wish for

The location was wonderful, convenient for the village, station and beach. We had all we needed and were very comfortable. We loved the view from the balcony. Paolo and Giovanna were quick to communicate and very helpful. The stairs were worth the climb to enjoy this lovely property.

Wonderful stay - just what we needed!

My son and I had a great stay in Monterosso and Giovanna’s apartment; which we experienced as even better than expected. The two bedroom’s are super adequate for a small «group» like ours, the air condition is flawless, there are more than enough amenities in the kitchen, and the view from the roof terrace helps a busy soul to settle. There were even two sunbeds there. The closeness to the beach and the centre means it is very easy to switch between arenas during the day (yes, there are 88 steps, but it’s easily done in a couple of minutes and we needed the exercise). The train station, ferry dock and not least the very cool blue trail are all close. What made the stay extra special was the warm welcome and trustbased hospitality of Giovanni and Paolo, which made us feel at home. We hope to be back!

Wonderful apartment on Monterosso

The apartment is located I. The heart of Monterosso. The steps getting to the apartment, especially with luggage is a challenge but once inside the apartment is absolutely perfect. Limited grocery choices so would suggest buying groceries before arriving. Our host, Giovanna , was very helpful and communicated with us well. Note that parking a car is either in a garage or on the road leading to town

Stunning Water and Hillside Town Views

This two bedroom apartment with balcony off dining area and rooftop terrace make for gorgeous views. Beds are very comfortable, ample storage, just enough AC for hot nights. A well stocked kitchen for cooking, easy appliance use, availability of washer all make for a very comfortable place to stay. There are stairs so pack light! (which we didn't do!). We would return here! We truly enjoyed the apt. and Givanna, the host, was very gracious, helpful, and communicative - great place to stay. Thank you Giovanna!!

Great location, excellent view from rooftop

The location is excellent but be prepared for some stairs and a 15 minute walk from the train station. Views from the rooftop were fantastic. Place was good sized for our groups of 4 (2 adults, 2 kids). Air conditioning worked great in one bedroom but no a/c in the room with bunks. A/c in the living room only cooled you if you were standing in front of it. It didn’t cool down the rest of the room or the kitchen/dining area. We also happened to be there when it was very hot so if you come during cooler temps the a/c may not matter. Washing machine worked well and there was a drying line upstairs and also off the balcony. Highly recommend for access to beach, playground, shops, restaurants and wandering around the old town.

At Monterosso the temperatures were around 27 degrees and until few years ago air conditioning wasn't absolutely necessary. We will work to out centrale conditioning in the whole apartment

A stay in the clouds

We had the opportunity to stay in the lovely apartment of Giavanna’s! The location was perfect to go anywhere in the town of Monterosso and to get to the train station. Since most of the main hikes between the towns were a bit too advanced for our older group, we found many lovely hikes around Monterosso! We appreciated Giavanna’s suggestions for dining and had many great meals ( which the steps up to the apartment worked off any over indulgences we had - such as the daily gelato!) Giavanna was very helpful and quick to answer any questions we had. Will miss waking up to the church bells and the magnificent views.

Perfect spott in Monterosso

This appartment is in the quainter part of Monterosso. Great view. Great location. Marco was there to show us everythihng and met us upon arrival. The appartment had eveything one needed for our 2 week stay, even a lettuce dryer! We hated to leave and go to the busier part of Monterroso. The next place we got was much more expensive with not nearly the amenities!

Great location with beautiful views

We stayed for 3 nights in October and were very comfortable. Bed was good and space was perfect for us. Like all properties on 5 Terra, there are stairs - but worth it to get the view. Good water pressure in shower and no issues with Wifi. Would recommend to others.

Great apartment in Old Town Monterosso

This was a great apartment for our family of four to use as a home base for exploring Cinque Terre. It was perfectly situated for town and ocean view, with a small balcony just off the dining room and a rooftop terrace up the stairs. There are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby, and the local beach was only a 5-minute walk away (larger beach about 15 minutes’ walk away, in New Town Monterosso). Kitchen was well equipped and we appreciated having a washing machine and clothesline for laundry. We’d love to be able to stay here again!

Wonderful place

We fully agree to the positive ratings of earlier guests, we had a fantastic time in this beautiful appartement! For people staying longer or people who want to cook theirselfs we would like to recommend "The Wonderland Bakery" which ist only a des steps from the appartement - all you need for breakfast ist right there. If you need to buy a bigger amount of groceries, better take the train to Levanto (5 minutes), there are bigger supermarkets and it is much closer than La Spezia.

Beautiful apartment in a wonderful area

Apartment was very comfortable. You must be able to climb steps! View from the roof was wonderful. Very convenient for walking to shops and restaurants in Monterosso al Mare. Important to understand where to park your car in relation to the apartment. The owner was very helpful especially since we had a flat tire when we arrived in town.

Lovely apartment in the heart of Monterosso

Loved everything about this apartment - our best accommodation in 6 weeks in Europe. Location is perfect in the old town ..... very close to the square, but very quiet. The apartment is tastefully furnished and spacious. There is a rooftop terrace, but we loved walking in after a day hiking or exploring other towns, and just throwing open the doors to the living room balcony. Great lighting if you like to read in the evenings like we do. Giovanna was great to deal with and met us in the square on the day we arrived to lead us to our home. Would definitely stay here again!

A very special place

Our three night stay in this wonderful apartment was absolutely perfect and an experience I will never forget. The location was magnificent. The apartment was perfectly appointed with everything that we could possibly need. Comfortable beds, well equipment kitchen and laundry facilities and the view overlooking the town, bell tower and ocean, well that needs to be experienced to be believed. Paolo was very accommodating on our arrival and the locals of Monterosso were a delight. It was the perfect place from which to explore the Cinque Terre region. Thank you Gianna and Paolo for helping us create new happy memories here. We hope to return one day again soon

Calm after the storm!

We were in b.c a 12 day cruise which was very busy then came to Cinque Terre ...a 15 year bucket list item. The home was truly lovely and, even better, well represented by the pictures (which isn't always the case). Giovanni was so helpful throughout the planning and was there to meet us and show us the ropes . The village of Monterosso was a busy tourist spot but didn't feel like it. It has a kind of relaxing feel after the cruise. We were there only 4 days but would love to return again for a little longer. Thanks Giovanna for sharing your home.
