Lovely stay at Villa Yaiza

We have just come home from a lovely stay at Villa Yaiza. Great location near to the marina Rubicon. Took us 3 minutes to walk to the supermarket. Villa needs a little TLC but was fine for what we needed. Pool a little chilly but warmed up during the day. Alex was really helpful throught the booking process and also whilst we were away.

Lovely comfortable villa in a perfect location.

We spent a thoroughly enjoyable week recently in this lovely villa in a perfect location, close to the supermarket and marina with its many restaurants. It was immaculately clean and the generous welcome pack on arrival was very much appreciated. Communication with the owner was via email as opposed to personal contact but he was very quick to advise us as to how to sort out a small issue with the Wifi on arrival. We visit the area regularly, and wouldn’t hesitate to book this villa again. Thank you for a fantastic week and hope to return soon!

Excellent location and villa for family stay

We arrived on a Thursday evening to a fantastic welcome pack in the villa including tea/coffee, milk, bread, cheese, ham, juice and water, this was a lovely start to our week in the sun. The villa was spotless, I stayed with my husband and 2 young children aged 4 and 6. The location was ideal, we were a few mins walk to the shopping centre which had bowling alley, mini golf, bouncy castle, play centre, bars and numerous restaurants in the marina as well. The villa was really spacious both upstairs and down and had off the road parking outside the door. Definitely would stay again, the weather was a bit poor so the pool was cold and didnt get alot of use, might be something to look into in the future, we did go in Feb but it was quite cloudy and wet.

Villa Yaiza, lovely villa in fabulous location.

Villa Yaiza is a lovely spacious villa with the added benefit of a pool and outside space which is south facing and sunny all day. The villa is well equiped with sun beds and outdoor furniture. The pool is cleaned twice a week. The inside is spacious and the kitchen equiped to cook family meals. There is a washing machine and drying lines in a small enclosed outside area. The bed was comfortable and the villa benefits from 3 bathrooms. The location is excellent, the shopping centre at Marina Rubicon is 5 minutes walk away. There is a wide choice of bars and restaurants 10 minutes walk away at Marina Rubicon. It is close to the beach, Playa Dorado is 20 minutes walk along the coastal footpath. There is a Taxi Rank at the marina and an excellent bus serivce a 5 minute walk away.

Spacious well appointed villa

Spacious well appointed villa within a very short flat walk to the Marina area of Playa Blanca. 3 large bedrooms, 1 with en-suite and 2 further bathrooms. All nicely decorated. Spacious well fitted kitchen with everything you need. Especially helpful to have plenty of glassware, crockery and cutlery etc which is sometimes lacking in other rentals. A lovely welcome pack of wine, water, ham, bread etc which was great as we arrived on a late flight. Alex was quick to answer any queries and was very helpful throughout. The villa has its own pool and sun terrace which was nice but as the last review states, the villa you stay in may not be the villa on the listing lead photo. I checked before I left and there are 11 identical villas which vary slightly in decoration, but some of them have had their pool area renovated and some are still to be completed. So ours was villa 14 and hadn’t been renovated whereas we could see next door which looked much more spacious outside. So I would suggest if booking ensure you ask for one that’s been renovated in the pool area. Alex told me they’re hoping to complete all the villas during 2024. My only other criticism is there is no air on or ceiling fans. Even sleeping with the bedroom window and patio doors open it was still too uncomfortable. There was an old portable fan in the villa but it was far too noisy to sleep with it on. Hopefully this will also be sorted during renovations.

Mixed Feelings

Perfect location but the property requires a lot of work. The villa is not the one pictured & there is very little room for a group of adults to sunbathe. We had a few issues but the management were very quick to act which is good. We would have preferred the villa in the photographs as ours was not quite as nice.

Very enjoyable stay

Property is in a superb location only a 5 minute walk from Marina Rubicón and a 25 minute stroll to centre of Playa Blanca. Supermarket is only 5 minutes away. The kitchen is excellent and very well equipped. The property generally is a little tired and could do with upgrading. Wi-Fi is provided, but is poor and in need of improving. We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 week stay but were disappointed that we were allocated one Villa and this was changed shortly before our arrival.

Great place to stay

First visit to Playa Blanca and won’t be the last. The Villa is perfectly located for Marina Rubicón and was perfect for our needs. Booking process was simple, communication throughout was excellent. We can’t wait to return.

We have stayed in this area many times before with the same company and as always the property lived up to the standards we have come to expect. Fantastic property

Had a great week at Villa Yaiza! Well appointed property, clean and tidy. Brilliant location, just 5 minutes walk to Marina Rubicon and 20 minutes to Playa Blanca town. Great communication with Alex and easy check in. Would recommend the villa to others and would happily stay again.

Lovely

Property was very nice and great communication with Alex. Family bathroom toilet wouldn't flush and Ramone was out straight away to fix it. The water pressure wasn't good in en suite shower and downstairs shower so we all had to use shower in family bathroom. As only 3 of us in property this wasn't a problem. Excellent area for everything and I will definitely rent this villa again.

Great Villa

We stayed at the villa for 28 days. The villa is spacious and well appointed but it is a bit dated now and we did require several minor maintenance issues to be addressed . The pool was cleaned twice weekly. Excellent communication with the property management company- special thanks to Alex and Ramon who looked after us really well and very quick to respond to our requests. Would definitely stay there again.

Playa Blanca villa

Lovely villa good location and room for a car if you choose to hire one! 5 min walk into town with lots of restaurants & shops. A great welcome pack left for us in the villa, which a godsend as we were delayed flying in, so landed in the dark & not knowing where local shops were. Bedrooms are a great size as are bathrooms, kitchen has everything we needed. Lovely pool although steps were a challenge for the vertically challenged lol! Unfortunately our boiler went bust on one day, but Ramon attended within 20 mins, an engineer was called and arrived within the hour then a new boiler fitted within 2hrs of initial call log! Can't ask better than that! The only criticism I had was that the hooks on the back the doors were suitable for a giant, so some lower hooks on the wall would ideal for afore mentioned vertically challenged! Overall, very pleased with our holiday and would return. Thank you!

Excellent location

The property is in an excellent location within walking distance to all Playa Blanca has to offer, we had a lovely relaxing week at the villa. The villa itself has all the facilities you need, the only thing I could fault was the downstairs shower holder was broken and the apartment was a little dated mainly in the bathrooms. Over all a pleasant week and would recommend.

Great location

We had a great time. The kitchen is well equipped. There was plenty of room for the four of us. We had a small problem which was rectified in good time by our host Alex. Not far from Marina Rubicon, restaurants and shopping. If we stayed in Playa Blanca again it would be on our list.

We stayed in this property for a month. Well positioned only a short walk to the marina and shops. Alex and Ramon were both very helpful when we needed to contact them. Would definitely rebook for another stay.

Excellent location

The villa is very close to the Marina, but in a quiet location. It had everything we could need. The kitchen was well kitted out and the lounge was spacious. We're used to a firm bed at home so the main bed was too soft for us but nice that it was king-size. We didn't use the pool as the weather wasn't on our side and we were out every day. We could only find BBC1 on the TV (channel 11) but we weren't on holiday to watch TV so it didn't bother us.
