Ideally located,Tastefully decorated,Large terrace, private typical courtyard in flower .The charme of the ancient house completely renovated,In the heart of SALENTO, Near to CASTRO.MARINA. The house has typical vaults and two terraces. From the first floor bedroom you have the charming view of the old cathedral. It is a perfect terrace for cocktail time. From the large leaving room you have access to the first floor so the upper bed room is independent with its own bathroom.From the door you have access to the other room with a large Indonesian bed and large table so it can be use as bed room or as leaving room as well and from this typical vaults room you see the relax room with a special central bathtub with the view of the private court .At the and you have the kitchen with 2 door windows open on the private court where you can enjoying the breakfast or the dinner

Soggiorno fantastico a Ortelle

Ho trascorso 2 settimane con la mia famiglia in questa casa fantastica. Ortelle e' un piccolo paese nel cuore del Salento. Le spiagge più belle (Porto Miggiano, Baia di Orte, Alimini) sono raggiungibili facilmente. La casa di Stafania è molto accogliente, particolarmente curata negli arredi. L'atmosfera creata dalla luce naturale, dagli arredi e dal colore delle pareti rilassante. Ho trovato il cortile fiorito per la colazione o per una cena a lume di candela un vero bijoux. Soggiorno consigliatissimo. Accoglienza squisita da parte di Stefania.

Charmante maison de caractère

Nous avons passé d'excellentes vacances dans une villa fort sympa bien centrée pour visiter les Pouilles, de Castro à Gallipoli sous oublier une escapade à Matéra et ses habitations troglodytes. Les poissons et fruits de mer sont au menu et nous nous sommes régalés. Tout était au rendez-vous, le soleil, les plages, les ballades en bateau sans oublier les illuminations dans quelques villages, c'était très agréable.

un séjour inoubliable au coeur du Salento !

nous avons passé un magnifique séjour de 10j à Ortelle au cœur du Salento. La maison de Stefania est vraiment exceptionnelle, rénovée avec beaucoup de goût, très confortable et nous étions vraiment bien installés (en couple) au cœur de ce village très tranquille qu'est Ortelle. Nous avons apprécié l'accueil d'Antoinetta et la sympathie de Marco qui ont fait le maximum pour nous rendre le séjour agréable (notamment pour la connexion Wifi sur la place du village ...). La location est très bien située pour découvrir le Salento, et l'accès à la mer est très rapide ; nous avons adoré découvrir les villages environnants (Castro, Ortelle, ...) ou les villes plus éloignées (Lecce, Gallipoli ...) à l'architecture si typique ... ainsi que les baignades dans les eaux limpides et turquoises de la mer adriatique. un magnifique séjour "hors du temps" et loin de la cohue touristique.

A week in Ortelle

Ortelle is a beautiful unspoilt village in the heart of Salento and Stefania's house is right at it's heart, opposite the Municipio and next to the main square. It's central location and series of terraces affords wonderful views, framed by palm trees and church bells. The house itself is very beautiful, making good use of natural light to create a very calm and relaxed atmosphere. Stefania has also furnished it very tastefully and has an impressive array of plants growing in the various outdoor spaces. This is a truly delightful house to stay in and I would recommend it to anyone - couples and families alike. It is also nearby to some spectacular places - miles of unspoilt coastline, towns and villages with great architectural history, fantastic food and wine, and above all really welcoming and friendly people. For anyone who is keen to relax and unwind, whilst also discovering the delights of a lesser known area of Italy, it should not be missed. Thank you so much to Stefania for such a special week. I could easily have stayed longer and would definitely come again.

Salento .. Terra da sogno .. come l’ho vissuta io

Ortelle è un piccolo paese, tranquillo, non ancora contaminato dal turismo di massa, non lontano dal mare e situato in una posizione invidiabile che permette di visitare tutte le spiagge e le bellezze naturali del Salento senza dover guidare per ore. La casa nonostante sia situata al centro del paese è molto silenziosa grazie ai muri spessi che permettono di avere una temperatura gradevole anche durante le ore calde senza dover necessariamente accendere l’aria condizionata. Curata, pulita, dotata di tutti i servizi che la rendono adatta anche per lunghi soggiorni, si differenzia sostanzialmente dalle tipiche “case vacanza”. Mi hanno colpito i colori allegri e armonici, la disposizione degli ambienti, l'arredamento di essenziale design, la terrazza panoramica e il piacere di prendersi un aperitivo col buon vino salentino come abbiamo fatto noi nella corte fiorita. Ci tornerei subito e la consiglio a chiunque voglia visitare il Salento soggiornando in una casa in armonia con la terra da sogno su cui fu costruita.

I'm a filmmaker and I chose this village and this house for the special feeling I got at the first moment I visited. People are so hospitable that reminds me the ancient Mediterranean hospitality. For me it was love at first sight .I have travel all around the world end I chose this house as a sort of buen ritiro to be able to rest and enjoying life with good food, friends and good wine.

Why they chose this property

I have till now find guests very civilized who have enjoyed the holidays in my house and thanked me for the moments of happiness. I I am happy that the house is lived by the people who know how to appreciate and respect the place. A bottle of local wine as welcome is always in the fridg.

What makes this property unique

The house is independent and faces in front of the town 's main square and you can always park in front of the house . In the cellar I have structured tricycle for walks or shopping . The small courtyard in flower becomes a pleasant place to have breakfast in the morning or the evening dinner . The body of the house of 1700 is cool and does not need air conditioning , although the house it is equipped . The living room is very spacious and bright and from this room with the vaults you see the relaxation room with a raised central bathtub and patio doors leading to the courtyard in flower .
