Wonderful stay in La Gaude

The villa is beautiful, modern and very well-placed to get to Nice, Antibes, Vence etc. Amazing views over the gorge across to other villages, with the mountains on one side, the sea on the other. Johan is a very friendly host, who was happy to recommend somewhere for our football-mad son to play.

Perfect holiday house

We once again rented this nice house, and had the best time. Clean and modern, a nice sized pool and a ping-pong table, which we used every day.

Nice summer vacation

We spent 14 lovely days in Johan's summer house. We enjoyed the lovely pool area and the terrace with gas grill. Johan was a good host and ready to help when we had questions. The house is approx. 1.5 kilometers from grocery shopping and a car is recommended. We would love to come back.

Cute property With a Lot of luxury

It was clean and spacious. The Location was nice and quiet. The pool was also clean. The Gas grill was awesome. Really a luxurious House for very good price. All electronic devices Needed are present but some would require maintenance. Some of the tiles were coming loose. (You can hear it) The ice dispenser was clogged a lot but this was Not a problem. But: Over all it was a really nice stay and we would recommend it :)

Beautiful Villa

We have just spent 9 days in this villa and I can honestly say it was beautiful. The reality exceeded the photos and we were really pleased that the description is very accurate. The villa is very spacious, very clean and and very modern. The swimming pool and outdoor area were fantastic and allowed us to spread out when we needed to. The pool is a good size but not huge but a welcome addition with the lovely warm weather. The kitchen was full of cooking utensils, crockery etc, plenty of towels too. Lovely large American style fridge with ice machine. Each room has its own air con which was very useful and there was plenty of space and homely touches around the villa to make it the perfect place to stay. Tv's in every room and DVD player and two Canal + boxes if you want to watch any French or English films. Word of advice is google it to see the location before you go as the road to it is not easy to find but by doing the research ahead we were able to recognise the road down to the villa which is along unadopted road and a very windy narrow road down to it - but don't be put off as it's in a lovely place in the village of La Gaude, very tranquil and only a 5 minute drive to the local supermarket which isn't huge but plenty big enough to keep you in food for the week. The Villa is a 15 minute drive into Cagnes Sur Mer which is worth a visit. Other places such as Cannes and Nice were about an hour away (mainly due to summer traffic). One place we visited which was easy to get to in about 30 minutes and well worth a visit was St Paul De Vence - a lovely medieval village on a hill with plenty of artisan shops and cafes. Ideal place to stay for families and centrally located with lots to do around the area but you will need a car to get around. Johan responded back to all our questions in good time and provided us with useful leaflets and maps upon arrival. Overall we had a fabulous time and this was our first time hiring a villa (and using Homeaway) and we were very pleased with the whole experience and would recommend to anyone.

Wunderschöner Urlaub an der Cote d Azur

agréable et confortable villa au calme

maison très agréable et confortable, très bien équipée aussi bien dans sa cuisine que dans les chambres (salle de bain et wc par chambre ainsi que Tv etc). Les terrasses (couvertes - découvertes) sont plaisantes et la piscine immédiatement présente et chauffée est un vrai plus. La vue dégagée est plaisante. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour

Sehr schönes und sauberes Haus mit schönem Pool

Das Haus war sehr geräumig, mit viel Stauraum und ist sehr sauber. Es ist modern und umfangreich eingerichtet. Der Pool ist sauber und wird vom Eigentümer auch während des Aufenthalts gesäubert. Wir wurden sehr nett mit einigen kalten Getränken im Kühlschrank empfangen. Am Ende muss man entweder selber säubern oder kann eine Reinigungsoption für 150 € in Anspruch nehmen. Das Haus liegt in einem kleinen Ort ein bisschen höher gelegen, wodurch man einen schönen Blick hat. Nizza und Cagnes sur Mer sind in 10-20 Minuten mit dem Auto erreichbar. Insgesamt ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt und empfehlenswert!

Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet, Pool ist ausreichend groß, die Tischtennisplatte haben wir auch ausführlich genutzt. Der Empfang von Johan war sehr freundlich, der Kühlschrank war schon mit Getränken bestückt. Fragen wurden kurzfristig beantwortet. Für uns ein rundum gelungener Urlaub.

Une location au top !!

Nous avons passé un séjour magnifique car la villa répondait tout à fait à nos attentes : propreté, espace, très bien équipée, très beau jardin avec piscine et à proximité de grandes villes comme Nice, Monaco, Cannes tout en étant au calme. Super Haus!

Uns hat das Haus sehr gut gefallen! Es ist gerade für Familien mit Kinder ein Traum! Es ist sehr ordentlich und sauber! Man fühlt sich gleich wohl :) In jedem Raum gibt es eine Klimaanlage und elektrische Rollos. Die Küche ist sehr Modern und hat alles was man braucht. TV gibt’s auch in jedem Raum mit allen Sendern dank SAT. Das Internet ist zwar mit ISDN Geschwindigkeit langsam, aber wenn man etwas Geduld hat kann man auch da alles drüber machen. Was es gibt: Ein Bad mit Dusche und WC Ein Elternzimmer mit Dusche und WC Ein Gäste WC Zwei kleine Schlafzimmer und ein großes Elternschlafzimmer Großes Wohnzimmer mit offener Küche Abstellraum mit Waschmaschine und Trockner Großen Pool Gasgrill Sonne den ganzen Tag! Wenn wir noch mal in der Region Urlaub machen, könnte ich mir gut vorstellen dies noch mal zu buchen.

Sehr sehr schönes Haus mit etwas zu langem Weg zum Meer

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt absolut genossen. Das Interieur ist sehr hochwertig und gepflegt. Mittlerweile könnten einige Sachen mal wieder gemacht werden (Am Tisch löst sich die Versiegelung, Holzdielen draußen müssten gestrichen werden, einige Anbauteile in der Küche und an den Fenstern sind locker). Multimedia und Technik sind sehr gut, Internet ist etwas langsam (ISDN) aber zum surfen ok. Das Haus liegt in einer sehr ruhigen Seitenstraße am Berghang. Die Zufahrtsstraße ist für täglichen Strandbesuch etwas nervig, da man danach noch durch die volle Stadt muss. La Gaude ist etwas verschlafen, im nächsten Ort auf dem Berg ist eine sehr gute Infrastruktur. Alles in allem auf jeden Fall einen Besuch Wert. Preis Leistung ist angemessen bis gut. Der Vermieter ist sehr nett.

Impressive House with lovely pool

While your route to this property is quite tricky (google map it), once you arrive you will find a super property with a lovely swimming pool. Each room has its own air conditioning unit which is very handy. All rooms are of modern design and well furnished. The kitchen is very well equiped and the living spaces both internal and external are fantastic. All bedrooms have TV's and wifi is available throughout. Can only say good about this property and would recommend to families both young and old. Johan is a friendly host and helpful when required. Would gladly return.
