A lovely quiet holiday location

Really enjoyed the daily fresh fish market, very French, unspoilt location. Good for visiting Normandy beaches. Village has all the amenities needed.

Friendly lady handed us the keys and wished us a pleasant stay. The apartment was very clean. We cooked dinner both nights and had no problems. There is a grocery store and a gas station next door which is nice. The town was charming and all within walking distance. I would stay here again.

Wonderful Apartment to Stay In

I was going to give the accuracy of the online listing a 2 star because the pictures online do not do this lovely apartment justice. It is clean, spacious, has great views from the balcony and is in an excellent spot for visiting the Normandy area. Regine was wonderfully pleasant and friendly upon arrival and departure. The apartment block is clean and welcoming. The supermarket across the street is ideal for picking up all your essentials for your stay. The town, a very short walk away, has all you'll need for eating out, a few drinks, or even just for a wander around the marina. Lovely place to stay - highly recommended Thank you

Very quiet and very clean appartment

We did spend a short week in the appartment. The residence les jardins consists of 3 identical buildings. This appartment is situated in the middle. It is very well looked after and clean. A big advantage are the blinds in front of all windows. This makes the rooms very dark and gives you the possibility to sleep well. We have never heard any neighbour noise and had a very quiet stay. There is a big supermarkt right next to the residence and a bus stop (Bus Verts ligne 70) in front of the residence. Grandcamp Maisy is a nice little village with 2 good bakeries a couple of nice restaurants and a lovely daily fish market.

Besteck z.T. ungespült, diverse Topfdeckel, die auf keinen Topf passten,Kochtöpfe ohne Deckel, so dass man Teller zum Abdecken nehmen musste und sich beim Abgießen des Kartoffelwassers die Hand verbrannte. Der Hinweis an die Vermieterin wurde beantwortet, man könne ja den Fettspritzerschutz als Sieb benutzen. Wohnküche mit viel zu großem Esstisch, Couch und Sessel, in den kleinen Kleiderschränken standen ein Nachttisch, ein Bügelbrett, ein Gestell zum Ablegen der Wäsche blockierte einen Schrank. Der Hinweis an die Vermieterin, dass man so keine Kleidungsstücke aufhängen könne, wurde von ihr beantwortet, man könne solche Sachen an die Haken an der Tür hängen. Kein WiFi/WLAN. Lieblose Dekoration.Es gab zahlreiche elektrische Küchengeräte, Waschmaschine, Wäscheklammern und einen Ständer zum Trocknen.Wir hatten gemietet für eine Woche und sind nach 3 Tagen abgereist.

Appartement correspondant parfaitement à la description, idéalement située pour visiter les plages du débarquement. Qui plus est, la propriétaire, Madame Pain est d'une gentillesse incroyable et ses conseils tant au niveau restauration qu'au niveau visite étaient optimaux, nous n'avons pas été déçu du tout.
