This newly furnished home has everything you need for a perfect full week or weekend getaway. Solaje is located in the closest west end, beachside subdivision in Galveston. From the moment you first arrive, you’ll immediately fall in love and be welcomed by a soothing ocean breeze, the calming sound of dancing waves, the bright and open interior featuring cozy furnishings, lovely decor, and large windows that flood the home with an abundance of glorious natural light. All the conveniences of home are provided as well including air conditioning, in-unit washer and dryer, and high-speed wireless internet access for your convenience. After an eventful day at the beach, rinse off in the outdoor shower and retreat inside to the comfortable living room, where you can unwind while watching TV on a 51' Smart TV - don’t worry about missing your favorite games or shows while on vacation, as there are additional TVs throughout the home! Once you've worked up an appetite, you'll find the home's modern kitchen fully equipped with everything you need to prepare delicious meals or simply go downstairs and BBQ while listening to the ocean waves. The balconies will serve as the ideal place to spend nice evenings admiring the ocean views. My family of 4 stayed here Friday through Sunday and really enjoyed our stay! Solaje is very comfortable, clean and close to the beach! It was very roomy for us and will accommodate more for sure! The Galvan's go out of their way to make their home sparkle with comforts of home and prepare it for family fun. Escape from winter

Our family wanted a few days away from winter, not only to enjoy the beach but to explore other things Galveston had to offer. We chose this home for the quiet neighborhood (toddler nap and overnight) and because it offered a wagon and more beach toys than we could carry. Communications were easy and accurate.

Fun for All

We went with another family as a short getaway to have some summer fun and disconnect from work and reconnect with each other. The house was amazing and the the private beach was even better! We cooked all of our meals both at the house and at the beach, played and slept like babies! The location was perfect and the homeowner has EVERYTHING you need (wagons, chairs, grills, sand toys, tables) We will most definitely be back!

Wonderful staycation

We live close to Galveston but wanted to come down and spend a few days at the beach with our family. Solage is a beautiful home. Very well decorated with all the amenities you could need. Even had toys & games for the kids. Everything you need to cook, just bring the food. Has everything you need for the beach including chairs, toys, canopy, & more. The beach is very close. The house is in a great location only a few miles from Galveston attractions. We had a great time, would stay there again. Thanks!

Thank you for your review. One of the best things about Solaje is that our guests usually don't have to bring anything for the beach except the beach towels. The storage room contains everything from beach chairs, umbrellas, beach toys, a canopy for shade, body boards, kites, bikes and even a wagon to transport them to the beach. We look forward to having you back.

Absolutely Amazing beachhouse!!!!

We stayed here for the weekend & the home was beautiful. It had a very clean, comfortable, relaxing atmosphere. Loved the open kitchen & living room area. The house was furnished with everything you would need from kitchen utensils, towels, extra toilet paper, shampoo/conditioner, to beach chairs, fishing reels, bikes etc... The beach is a short walk & there's a convenient outside shower the house for rinsing off. The 2 porches provided a nice view of the ocean. The home owner was very nice to work with. I absolutely LOVED the whole experience of this home & am already planning my next trip.

Fantastic Beach House, Wonderful Views!

We rented SOLAJE for a spring break getaway. It was the perfect place for our family and friends. The house was spaciously equipped to accommodate our group of 9. The house is incredibly well kept and beautifully decorated and has all the special touches to make you feel at home (I could live there permanently). SOLAJE offered everything you could possibly need from extra linens to chairs for the beach to a picnic table and grill on the ground level. The views from the porches allowed us to enjoy and relax. It was the perfect place to unwind and reconnect with family. The location was great, because it is only a few miles to attractions, and a short walk to the beach. The owners take great care with every detail to ensure we had a fantastic stay! Thank you again for everything, we will definitely be returning!

I could not have been more impressed. The views from both decks are amazing and there is a short walk to a private beach. The house is very clean and has all the amenities you could need. It felt more like a family beach house that is very well maintained than just a rental to make money. I would absolutely book this house again the next time I stay in Galveston.

Being always around water my entire life I have always dreamed of some day owning my very own beach house. A native and proud Houstonian (La Porte), I have great memories of always visiting Galveston in the summers and on the weekends growing up. Even when I left Texas to join the Marines, I always made time to come visit Galveston at least once during my visit to Houston. Whether it's fishing, body boarding, swimming, waking up early to watch a sunrise, eating, hanging out with friends, or just relaxing on a beach chair staring at the waves, I've always loved being in Galveston and never enjoy leaving.

Why they chose this property

Solaje as we call our own piece of paradise is close enough to home to be convenient, but far enough to feel like you are away on vacation when you are there. The house is practically brand new, beautiful and in perfect condition. Since the first time we looked at it, my family and I knew that this house would be the perfect beach home for our family and friends to enjoy.

What makes this property unique

We chose Sunny Beach because of the proximity to the seawall and all of its amenities which makes it so easy to get in and out of Galveston. The neighborhood is peaceful and quiet making every time we stay at Solaje relaxing and enjoyable. The white picket fence surrounding our property and the beautiful tropical landscape make our beach home unique. The spacious front and back yard great for entertaining made us fall in love with Solaje.
