Wonderfully easy living

We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely villa. We were a family of 10 and the accommodation was more than big enough. Lovely big pool and gardens and great outdoor bbq area. The owners met us at the villa and were very welcoming and helpful. We were really pleased with the welcome food and drink that was kindly left for us and additional touches such as providing pool towels and mid week cleaning and linen change. A nice location. Overall we had a fabulous holiday here and would highly recommend and hope to return.

Amazing holidays in a beautiful area. We did not want to leave ... There's nothing not up to our expectations that we found throughout our stay. Spacious house with many rooms and bathrooms.. Nice outdoor spaces and great pool. We had moments of relaxation with our family and our friends. thank you for hosting vaggelis, elsa!!!! We would love to go back there. Really enjoyed it!!!

Amazing villa , had everything we needed , plenty to do to keep kids entertained and to allow adults rest as well It might be worth putting together a welcome information package , about local restaurant when there open for lunch etc , we all went to the local restaurant at lunchtime in Pigi for a lesuraly lunch , only to find they were not open for lunch , local taxi numbers and nearest beaches , and were to purchase BBQ coals ? we think that would be very useful , Maybe consider a heated pool ? Otherwise fabulous holiday , thank you

Stunning Villa on the edge of a typical Greek village

Our family loved this place...the quality of the villa is top class throughout. The BBQ and pizza oven were well used and appreciated and there was more than enough space for everyone. Also, the communication from the owners was superb and they are so friendly and nice to deal with. The villa was cleaned during our stay, towels changed, gardens maintained and the pool cleaned twice. We also really enjoyed the baklava from the local bakery that the cleaning team kindly gave us. Honestly, this place is fantastic and none of us want to go home! Lastly, the village of Pigi is a 5 minute walk away and has a bakery, 2 very good butchers, a pharmacy, a well stocked supermarket and some very friendly tavernas. We liked it alot and everyone we encountered was friendly and helpful.

Exellent holiday experience!

Me and my family (a total of 10 people) had a fantastic week in Tsourlakis Residence! The Villa is as shown in the pictures (and even better), very clean, with an amazing outdoor area, where we enjoyed the sun and pool and night BBQs! The kids enjoyed the toys in the garden, ping pong, trampoline and bicycles! The owners, Elsa and Vangelis, were very helpful during our stay and there were there to meet us at our arrival, despite the fact that we arrived late at night and had a wonderful welcome pack for us with local goodies! The Villa is a short drive to the beach, which we also enjoyed very much! Finally, special thanks to Valia! No request was too much for her, from the easy process of the booking, to recommending car rental and arranging a private chef, when we wanted to celebrate a special occasion! I totally recommend this Villa and we promise to return there soon! Thank you all for our best holiday so far!

Great relaxing holiday

We, a family of four, had relaxing days in the sun in this comfortable villa. The booking was easy and fast and Valia (the agent) was very reliable and a good caretaker for all of our needs. Thank you Valia. Vaggelis and Elsa taking care of the property were showing us around on our first day, greeting us with a fruit basket, drinks and more. They were close at hand if needed, cleaning the house once a week, according to your whishes and were the nicest people. The house is very large and can easily host two families. The garden is full of flowers and fruit trees. Everything was as shown on the pictures, although the pool looked a bit bigger as it actually was it was great and the kids had a lot of fun relaxing in the water. What I liked most in the mediterranean summer, were the different terraces where you can always find shade and a breeze. A good (silent) working air con was cooling our sleep. The house is ten minutes by car from a sandy beach, but you have a lot of rocks in the water making it difficult to get in. Twenty minutes to the east between Rethymno an Georgiopoulis you will find Episkopi beach, sandy and without rocks in the sea. Great beach bars (try Kyma-Beach-Bar). The place was not even on the weekends in August crowded. Tavernas are only a short car ride away. Try taverna Kastro sitting under shade trees and taverna Fantastiko in Maroulas with great view, great cuisine, especially the lemon chicken. What will remain of the holiday and what was really special: The locals are really wonderful hosts, regardless if you come to a restaurant or a shop or a museum, or villa Tsourlakis. We were not treated as tourists merely like as an appreciated guest.

Schöner Urlaub im Frühling

Vangelis ist ein sehr freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Gastgeber. Das Haus ist groß und bot gut Platz für 12 Personen. Ein Zimmer im Erdgeschoss ist ein Durchgangszimmer, das ist ein Nachteil.

Dejlig uge i et smukt hus. Rent og pænt og funktionelt køkken til madlavning til en stor familie, der elsker at lave mad. Masser af plads og skønt pool område. Tolle Villa für größere Gruppen (und super für Kinder)

Wir waren zu zehnt dort - 5 Erwachsene + 5 Kinder und haben uns äußerst wohl gefühlt! Die Villa selbst ist sehr geräumig (1 weitere 4-köpfige Familie hätte noch bequem Platz gefunden) und sehr gut ausgestattet. Bemerkenswert sind die zahlreichen Balkons / Terrassen mit vielen verschiedenen Sitzgelegenheiten und schönem Ausblick. Das Außengelände ist zwar nicht gerade "weitläufig" aber doch großzügig und sehr abwechslungsreich und schön gestaltet: Wiesenfläche mit Kletterbaum, kleiner Spielplatz, Pool mit zahlreichen Liegen und Utensilien, Grill / Ess-Bereich (Wandgrill, etwas schwer zum Laufen zu bringen), Tischtennisplatte, Darts, Obstgarten. Gerade für Gruppen mit jüngeren Kindern (wir hatten 3-10-jährig dabei) ist das Objekt ausdrücklich empfehlenswert - man kriegt nicht viel mit von den Kleinen! Einzige Einschränkung; man muss in Kauf nehmen, dass immer ein Erwachsener den Pool bewacht - der Badebereich ist von vielen Seiten aus gut zugänglich.

Haus in guter Lage mit tollem Spielplatz u. aktivem Vermieter

Das Haus entspricht genau der Beschreibung. Der Spielplatz für Kinder von 2 - 5 sucht seines Gleichen. Die Zimmeraufteilung, die Küchen und die 4 gut möblierten Terassen sind sehr gut. Für alls das gäbe ich 5 Sterne, die auf Grund einiger kleiner Mämgel (Kaffeemaschien, Duschtrapse, Kühlschrank, Matratzen auf 4 zu reduzieren wären, aber gleich wieder auf 4,6 angehoben werden, da der Vermieter jede A"Anzeige" innerhalb von Stunden erfolgreich bearbeitete. Danke an Vaggelis dafür! :-)

We loved it!

Lovely clean, spacious villa which worked well for us. We lived on ground floor and outside in covered area by pool. It should be mentioned that one bedroom is through another although it turned out O.K. for us. Also no toilet paper down the loos - although this is quite usual in Greece. Valia was helpful as was the owner Mr Vangellis. He FaceTimed us to tell us how to throw a switch to get hot water and left lovely treats in the fridge of which there are two. In fact there's probably two of most things - dishwasher, kettle etc. One small thing which could be improved and I feel bad for even saying this as it's 'nit picking' - but a four slice toaster would be a good idea for a full house and a vegetable peeler that works please! Thank you for the mid week clean and linen change - a real treat.

En rigtig god ferie, hvor der var plads til 3 familier i samme hus. Ejeren af huset var meget hjælpsom, og var der med det samme hvis der var nogle problemer. Køkkenudstyr lidt mangelfuld.

Family holiday

Having just spent 2 weeks In tsourlakis residence I have to say it was everything we could have asked for and more . We were a family of 13 and it still felt very spacious, from the cleaning to the dealings with valia and mr Vangellis there was no problems, my 5 grandsons had a ball in the pool which was cleaned regularly, hopefully will get back next year the coyle family

Great from booking to checking out

Couldn't recommend more, from the helpful tips and recommendations (car hire, things to do in the area and best restaurants to book) to bringing over some extra darts for the dart board during our visit and the lovely chocolates at check out. Very helpful to help with your every need and always there to help in any way they can. Everything was great, my niece enjoyed all the play equipment. Our flight was delayed, so ended up getting in past 1am, which was no problem. One of the rooms is a walk through from another room, we managed to make it work but could be a little awkward for couples who know each other less, also one of the rooms upstairs is a small double so really suited for one person only, we ended up moving a spare single bed upstairs to make it a double room. Would definitely recommend to friends looking for a large villa to rent. Location wise too as it's in the middle of the island so can get around easily (with a car)

Ein herrliches Haus

Dieses Haus erfüllt alle Wünsche. Die Ausstattung ist mehr als umfassend und wird allen Ansprüchen gerecht. Die Eigentümer sind sehr zuvorkommend und stehen für Auskünfte jederzeit zur Verfügung. Als einmal das Wasser kurzfristig ausging, war der Besitzer gleich an Ort und Stelle um alles wieder in Ordnung zu bringen. Leider hat der Geschirrspüler am Ende des Aufenthaltes nicht ganz mitgespielt, was aber wahrscheinlich am Dauerbetrieb lag. Wir habe die (untere!) Küche zur Gänze genutzt und vor allem viel Zeit beim Grill verbracht, welcher mit der Terrasse ein echtes Highlight darstellt. Das Wetter hat leider nicht immer mitgespielt, was aber aufgrund des Angebotes und Alternativen im Haus egal war. So durfte sogar einmal das eigene kleine Fitnessstudio daran glauben. Der Tischtennistisch war fast pausenlos belegt und die Kinden hatten eine Freude mit dem riesigen Pool. Abends kam es schon vor, dass die "großen Kinder" die Playstation benutzten und so manches FIFA-Game spielten. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen, da man sich eine solche Chance nicht entgehen lassen darf. Unser Dank gilt auch Valia, für die perfekte Vorab-Betreuung!!!

Superb villa and great location!

From start to finish we had a great experience! The villa has superb facilities and is perfect for large groups. We enjoyed a large family holiday with 7 adults and 4 children and it was big enough to accommodate easily! Great pool and outside eating area meant we lived outdoors for the majority of the holiday, and so I can't recommend more highly!

fantastisch huis

plaats genoeg om met 10/12 personen te eten zowel binnen als buiten ( met of zonder overdekt terras). alles prima in orde... en proper. In midden van de week komen ze beetje poetsen en wisselen van lakens en handdoeken, zelfs handdoeken voor aan het zwembad zijn voorzien... Er ontbreekt we een boekje met de gebruiksaanwijzigingen van bv oven, micorgolf enz. Uiterst vriendelijke eigenaars die je verwelkomen met een fles wijn, water, melk, fruit enz. Je hebt wel een auto nodig want huis ligt in midden van olijfgaarden, dus wel rust verzekerd. We hebben een heel fijne week gehad in dit huis samen met kinderen en kleinkinderen .

Fantastic property with incredible outdoor space.

We had a fantastic time at this property. We were three families (15 in total!) and this fantastic villa was so spacious that we never felt cramped - inside or out. The outdoor space is particularly impressive, with lots of outdoor seating, cooking and lounging provision. The pool is fantastic and there is also a large grassy area with shade under a beautiful willow tree. The inside of the villa is spacious with plenty of room to cook, eat and relax. The bedrooms all have air conditioning and the beds were incredibly comfortable so we all had restful sleeps. Pigi is a lovely small, traditional Cretan village with a well-stocked small supermarket, pharmacy, butcher, baker and taverna. The beach is only a few km away. Valia (property manager) was incredibly helpful and very responsive when we had questions. The villa was also cleaned and sheets and towels were changed half way through the week which was great. All in all, we just couldn't fault this villa. We had a wonderful reunion and holiday and would certainly recommend to anyone! Thank you.
