A short walk from the Mortirolo Pass, 1. 700 meters above sea level, the atmosphere is different from that of the city. The Chalet "la Cort" the rhythms change, and also changes the perception of time and nature. Away from the daily hustle and bustle, you can still feel the enveloping atmosphere of yesteryear. Once a favorite of herdsmen and travelers now a secret place for those seeking tranquility and contact with nature.
Located in a privileged position on the slopes of Monte Pagano, the chalet "la Cort" offers stunning views of the Adamello mountain group. The Chalet is located in a quiet and secluded position between larch forests on one side and large pastures on the other.
The property is on two levels, ground floor with huge living room, kitchenette and bathroom (shower); a large wooden staircase (ten steps) leads to the first floor (sleeping) access for 4 bedrooms. All around a large natural garden.
SPECIAL ': the ground floor there is another room (Room no. 5) Imperial suite, with double bed (or two single beds) and wash basin. The room is located in another small guest house, 5 meters from the chalet. The seats of the 5 double rooms are 12 then.
The area is easily accessible via two roads:
- The first completely paved road will pass by the Passo Mortirolo where I present farm houses, restaurants and bars. In the stretch between the Mortirolo Pass and the chalet (5km) are located 2 pastures (Alm Salina and Val Bighera) operating during the summer where you can buy fresh products (cheese, fresh milk, and so on).
- A second road (partly paved and unpaved), includes the departure from the town of Vezza d'Oglio (9km).
The chalet, a short walk from the Stelvio National Park, is recommended for those who want to slow down, to live with the rhythms of nature, wander through pastures and woods. Many recommended excursions (which leave directly from the chalet), from lakes to Seroti Grom peaks, passing through Mount Varadega, Monte Pagano until the Great Valley and beyond.
The area is renowned for the collection of mushrooms (July to September) and for the presence of wild animals such as deer, roe deer, birds of prey and more.
