Casa De La Luna is a paradise within a paradise! Our house sits on 2 heavily wooded acres with 180 feet of Oak Creek running right through it. Enjoy some hammock time in the sycamores in-between dinks on our brand new private pickleball court, yes it’s right in the back yard! Don’t forget to strike up a game of horseshoes or croquet in-between hikes and bike rides, and please don’t forget to cap off the day with smores and stories at the creek side fire pit.
The layout provides the following: The 'Tree Top Suite' is located on the upper level with an adjoining full bathroom, balcony overlooking the creek, open loft/den with a full size bed and extra futon mattress under the bed, entertainment center with TV and DVD, board games, bay window with custom cushions, & additional seating area. Main floor has 3 Bdrms: 1 King, 1 Queen, 2 Twins, fold out queen sofa with foam topper for comfort. Two additional twin blow-up mattresses and bedding. Kitchen equipped to accommodate 10+ dining, commercial refrigerator/freezer, over-sized pantry, warming drawer, flat-top stove with indoor grill, outdoor BBQ, Outdoor portable bar. This home is meant for entertaining and relaxing! The custom aspen table in formal dining area can host 8-10, the open kitchen bar for 4, casual dining off kitchen for 4, outside 8 person table and on same deck, picnic table for 6-8 people.
The home is surrounded by amazing hiking trails, swimming holes, and wildlife. The fully fenced lawn lends to additional peace of mind for children and unwanted wildlife. Brand new Pickle Ball Court in the yard!

Beautiful home and location

We had the best time at the property. The house was big and clean and situated in a very peaceful spot. We loved playing pickleball too! We were all adults, but it would be a great place to bring kids. Would love to stay here again!

Wonderful place for family!!

It had so many amenities. We had such fun with the pickle ball court, fire pit and outdoor seating. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking with many condiments there for the using. We loved the family area inside too.

Wonderful Experience

This property met all expectations based on previous reviews. Our family of 12 had a terrific time on this spacious lot with comfy indoor spaces. Loved the natural setting, pickleball court, gas grill, Oak Creek running through the back of property, birds singing. Lots of pots and pans, bowls, etc. Great big fridge! Easy access to caretaker Sharen. Thanks for making this property available!

Great Sedona base!

We stayed here for a few days with some friends and all of our kids. The location is fantastic with the creek in the back and tons of room for the kids to run around. Everyone agreed that this is where we will stay every trip back to Sedona. Not far from downtown but far enough away that it is quiet, private and plenty of room for the kids to run around.

Really enjoyed the property!

Jennifer and Sharen were wonderful hosts, they were very responsive to all our questions and requests. The house was beautiful and the perfect size for our family of seven. Especially enjoyed being outdoors on the back deck and sitting down by Oak Creek. Very private location and very peaceful.

Amazing!

Beautiful home, wonderful amenities for a group of friends or family, great communication with host - overall an absolutely amazing week with 3 generations of my family celebrating Thanksgiving here. Very peaceful and had everything we needed to keep a large family entertained. Very close to some great hiking and biking trails - we hope to be back soon :)

Incredible place to stay. Fit 4 adults and 8 kids just fine. The creek was perfect in July, and even though AZ is horribly hot in the summer, the forest trees and creek cooled everything down so much! There was also a no burn policy in effect, so no fire pit, but that was no big deal since it was the middle of the summer. Quirky, fun, big, beautiful home and an amazing amount of outdoor area to play and explore. We also loved that there was a gate to the creek and around the whole house so the littles couldn't just wander off into the woods. I'd just suggest that the owner updates the check out time on the listing... As it says 11 am but it's actually 10 am.

Relaxing Trip

We had two families stay for this trip and it was amazing! There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out or to come together for a meal. We spent most of the time outside playing pickleball and exploring the creek. We had kids ages 5-13 and they all had a great time. The house had everything we could possibly need and all the beds were comfy. We're already looking forward to going back again!

Relaxing and peaceful

Lovely home on a beautiful, spacious property. Stayed for a long weekend to escape the Phoenix heat. Our teenagers loved the creek and hammock, and we all appreciated the peaceful atmosphere and board & card games. Property manager was prompt with the communications. Everything was well-labeled in the house. Would definitely stay there again.

Magnificent property

We're a family of 3 generations that can't wait to return to Casa De La Luna! The journey in is breathtaking, so many outstanding photo opportunities. Then the pickleball court, backyard Oak Creek, large outdoor space with a west view of Cathedral Rock, beautiful indoor amenities, Wow! Thank you for offering this wonderful house for our family vacation, and special thanks to Sharen for great communications during our stay. We even saw 2 coyotes, nice surprise for the kids!

Beautiful property on the creek.

This property was absolutely beautiful. Secluded with private seating area on the water. We only had a few minor complaints: the beds are a bit old, the internet is slow, and the ac was struggling a bit. All minor issues and nothing even worth bringing the rating down from five stars. I would absolutely consider this property for future stays.

Great location and property

We were 2 families staying here for spring break. Location is quite and a wonderful get away in and of itself. The creek and pickleball court were a big hit with the teens. Close to hiking and all that Sedona has to offer. Plenty of space to relax after hiking or a day of skiing in Flagstaff. Kitchen well stocked for cooking meals for 9 people. Great communication from owner about weather (water rising never ended up being a real issue- always felt safe) and property manager. I highly recommend this property.

So peaceful and beautiful ... we really enjoyed our stay. Only thing I would recommend is some blinds or window coverings for the master bed room. Otherwise, it was a perfect place for my family to gather and eat around the wonderful dinning room table and play games in the large living space. My kids loved the huge yard to run around in. The tree swing was a hit and of course the tranquil river ... Thanks for sharing your home with us!

Wonderful family reunion/birthday celebration

A group of 12 family members came together at the house to celebrate my parents' 80th birthdays. The property was perfect in every way. It is a short drive to town for groceries, etc., but is tucked away off the beaten path in a peaceful, serene setting. Oak Creek is literally in the back yard, and we enjoyed the beauty and sound of the water during our stay. We brought wood for the firepit, and gathered each evening for stories and s'mores. We also played many rounds of cornhole and pickle ball in the yard. The house is spacious and clean, with a well-stocked kitchen and ample bedding and towels for everyone. It was comfortable and relaxing, and an all-around great experience for us!

Beautiful grounds and Oak Creek access. Playground a major plus with both grandsons, 3 & 5 and fenced in property. Great floor plan with master upstairs with FULL bath/shower. Hugh BBQ on deck. Friendly communications!!

We had a great five day visit with family of 10. The house is well laid out for entertaining, and the back deck is great for early morning coffee and listening to the evening sounds. Very private. Star watching from the front deck is a must. Great place to relax with Oak Creek on your doorstep and a good jump off location for visiting the Grand Canyon and Northern Arizona. We have stayed at many vacation homes around the world and this has been one of the best. Highly recommended.

Girls trip

Six of us met in Sedona to celebrate a milestone birthday. This was the perfect location with beautiful scenery and surroundings. Loved just spending time together inside, outside on patios and playing pickleball. A very relaxing trip and not far from restaurants and other sites in Sedona. Would stay here again. Property manager was very responsive to questions just prior to arrival and while we were there.
