A perfect place

Our second time at this house and it really is a perfect spot, and Alain a great host. La Flotte is charming and the house is so close to everything you need; plus the outdoor space was wonderful in sunny weather. We hope to return!

We were extremely satisfied with our two week stay at this wonderful property in September.

WE enjoyed the great indoor and the pleasant outdoor facilities including an abundance of fresh figs. And if the cars are not too big there is room for 2 in the garage!! And just a short walk to the wonderful harbor in La Flotte and to the fun shopping street and the daily market.

Perfect villa close to the port

We couldn't have asked for a nicer villa for our stay. Alain was very helpful throughout. The villa is in a great location for enjoying La Flotte and is well equipped with everything we needed, plus has the most lovely, private wrap around courtyard. We hope to return again!

Exceeded expectations.

The property was well equipped and spacious. Ideally located for short walks to the market, boulangerie and restaurants in the port. Close to cycle paths for the rest of the island. We will always have fond memories of the beautiful village of La Flotte. The only downside for us personally was an uncomfortable, thin mattress and poor pillows. Otherwise comfort in the lounge was good and it was warm on cold days in April. Parking for 2 big cars one in front of the other meant gates had to be left open. Alain answered our questions quickly and helpfully, thank you.

Good property to explore La Flotte and ile de Re

This is a lovely comfortable property which is an excellent holiday house to explore La Flotte and Ile de Re. Central location and a lovely large living and dining room, with a large outdoor space to enjoy as well which is very rare in Ile de Re, coupled with parking into which we fitted (just) two large cars as an added bonus. A lovely outdoor BBQ too. The contents of the house inside are functional in terms of design rather than luxurious and the kitchen is small but if you are not planning on doing a lot of cooking and enjoying the many excellent restaurants that should not be an issue. There are no sheets included and only two shower rooms (one ensuite) and a separate toilet (making two in total). Alain was superb in providing access and answering any issues which arose. Definitely an excellent host.

Gorgeous house in fabulous location

This is a lovely, comfortable house in a pretty, quiet street that is just moments away from the quayside. La Flotte is lovely and a great base for exploring the island. We have visited them all and La Flotte remains our favourite village. The light and space in the house means it is a real pleasure to stay there, even with several people, and the super wrap-around terrace and outside area make such a difference to the holiday. It's a fab area to eat outside and sometimes it's just perfect to lie on one of the sun-beds and read your book. We would love to come back and stay again! The house is very well equipped and my only suggestions for extras would be one or two items for roasting/baking in the oven (even we didn't eat out every night) and kitchen cloths to dry crockery or to pick things up from the oven/stove. Alain was a thoughtful and responsive host. Merci Alain, a bientôt!

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt in diesem charmanten Ferienhaus in La Flotte! Die Lage ist einfach perfekt – nur wenige Gehminuten vom Hafen, den kleinen Geschäften, dem Markt und dem Strand entfernt. Das Haus selbst ist sehr gepflegt, liebevoll eingerichtet und bietet alles, was man für einen entspannten Urlaub braucht.

WE PENTECOTE

La maison est telle que décrite dans l'annonce, plaisante et lumineuse avec vue sur un extérieur complètement clos, Les enfants ont donc pu profiter du jardin composé de graviers agrémentés de végétation en toute sécurité. Le stationnement des voitures sous le porche nécessite un peu de dextérité mais est un vrai plus car la rue est étroite..... coté bémols, l'escalier menant à la chambre des enfants est raide et étroit et ne convient aux enfants en bas âge, impossible de laisser notre pt fils de 3 ans l'emprunter seul. Dans une moindre mesure, nous aurions aussi apprécié avoir à disposition quelques fournitures de base à notre arrivée. Au moins un rouleau de papier toilette à dans chaque WC, une éponge, du liquide vaisselle, de même qu' une buche et des allumettes pour allumer la cheminée le temps que la maison se réchauffe. En effet compte tenu de notre arrivée tardive, le super marché était malheureusement fermé. Nonobstant ces quelques points négatifs nous avons passé un agréable séjour en famille.

Schöner Aufenthalt im Herbst

Wir waren schon mehrmals im Sommer in La Flotte und hatten für unseren Aufenthalt diesen Oktober ein für den Herbst passendes Haus gesucht. Wir waren sehr zufrieden! Mit dem Kamin war es sehr gemütlich. Die Terrasse ist windgeschützt. Sehr gute Ausstattung, moderne Bäder, alles gepflegt. Ruhige Lage, nicht weit vom Hafen entfernt. Wir würden es wieder buchen!
