About this property

4 pers Private holiday home on 3 acres private land and near major attractions

Domaine Laubaro is completely private on 1.5 ha of land in the middle of the rolling countryside. It is a pleasant mix of authentic French details and modern comfort. The area of ​​the house is 100m2, enough space for four adults and a small child. Highchair is available. There are ample XL beds all 210cm long.

You enter into the large kitchen with seating in the large chairs and a large table. The fully equipped kitchen is fully equipped including a 4-burner stove, dishwasher, large fridge-freezer, oven / grill and microwave. a wide collection of kitchen utensils also is available.

On the ground floor is also the bathroom with toilet and shower. Here you can use the normal showerhead and rain shower.

Some steps you enter the upstairs room that is furnished as a sitting area. There is a TV with channels and a DVD player and a choice of over 30 films. The closet is filled with books and games for all ages.

The stairs to the other side leads to the upper floor. Here are 2 bedrooms and the second separate toilet.

The first bedroom is about 12m2 and has a built-in wardrobe and an extra long 2-bed of 180x 210cm.

The second bedroom is about 20m2 and has 2 extra long beds of 90x210 cm, if desired, can be pushed together. Again, a wardrobe and stylish antique French armoire.

Of course there is WIFI present, which if desired can be easily turned off.

There is also a cot and highchair available. There are no additional costs are to be charged.

There is a public pool in Azerat, and directly adjacent a free-access tennis court.

Beautiful and tranquil place in the Perigord

We've had a wonderful time staying at Domaine Laubaro. The property is very private with beautiful views, while within easy driving distance of highlights such as Sarlat and Chateaux Hautefort. We went for a couple of great runs starting from the property! The house is tastefully decorated and has all the modern amenities for a relaxed stay. Highly recommended!

Perfect retreat

Had a great week. Lovely pool, beautiful views amazingly peaceful. High quality accommodation. Friendly, helpful and gracious hosts who were not intrusive.Looking at the map it is close to a major road but can assure future guests you cannot hear it at all either at the property or on the lovely walks from the door.Thanks to Sander and Mirte from Russell and Sally

Si nous avons tous été charmés par le lieu, le silence, les nombreuses activités à proximité et aussi les animaux environnants et la commodité de la maison avec sa belle piscine sur une vue panoramique des champs, la gentillesse et la discrétion des hôtes sont aussi à noter. Séjour au calme dans le Périgord, avec une belle piscine

2 semaines de repos dans une gîte rénové avec goût, au calme parmi les champs de noyers, à 5-10 mn de Thenon et ses commerces, 15 mn de la grotte de Tourtoirac et du château de Hautefort, et 20mn de Montignac-Lascaux Nous avons beaucoup apprécié la grande piscine d'eau salée, avec une très belle vue sur les alentours, à partager avec les occupants de l'autre gîte. Sander et Mirte sont des hôtes très gentils et qui n'hésitent pas à dépanner ou nous donner leurs conseils sur les alentours.

Perfekt!

Die Wohnung hatte alles, was man braucht. Sehr gute Betten, ein gemütliches Wohnzimmer, eine rundum perfekte Küchenausstattung und .... alles zum Relaxen: die Terrasse, Liegen, der Pool und eine herrliche Umgebung! Mirte und Sander als Gastgeber sind supersympathisch und total hilfsbereit. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Mooie gite, goede kwaliteit, vriendelijk ontvangst

Deze gite is rustig gelegen in een mooie, oude boerderij. De inrichting is volledig nieuw en van hoge kwaliteit. Goede bedden, mooie badkamer, volledig ingerichte keuken, veel ruimte en een mooi terras. De Nederlandse eigenaars zijn heel vriendelijk en hulpvaardig. In de omgeving is veel te doen, prehistorische grotten, middeleeuwse kastelen en mooie oude toeristische dorpjes. Verder voldoende mogelijkheden voor activiteiten, zoals wandelen, kanoën en fietsen. Wij hadden aan een week niet voldoende om alles te doen wat we zouden willen. Zeker reden om nog eens terug te komen bij Sander en Mirte.

The vila is very cosy and still cool when it's hot outside. Everything looks very new because it has just been renovated. Also important that everything was really spotless and clean. Outside also very much space and privacy. (it lies a little bit from the road between some vineyards. The owner gave us some nice tips for sightseeing. Also the tip for visiting an eveningmarket where you can also eat dinner. This was really nice to do!!

In 1 woord: Geweldig!!!! Op de veranda en in de tuin was het aangenaam vertoeven en we hebben heerlijk geslapen in de lange bedden. After several holidays to France, and visiting more than 100 houses, we felt in love with Domaine Laubaro last year. The quiet and relaxed place embraces you, which makes it for us the perfect place to escape from our busy lives.

Why they chose this property

Domaine Laubaro is over 100m2 and includes all equipment to enjoy your holiday, like extra large beds. It is situated just outside the major touristic area of the Dordogne. Therefore you can enjoy the authentic peace of the countryside, while sociability and major attractions like the "grotte of Lascaux" or castel "Hautefort" are very easy reachable by car.

What makes this property unique

As the ground area is over 3 acres, and the closest neighbour is about 100m away, privacy is ensured. The area is uniquely situated between wallnut trees, and on the south side of a hill. Therefore this spot is all day in the sun. Maybe its therefore that, at least, since 1614 people have been living at this spot.
