First class holiday home on Scarborough’s North Bay
Furnished to a high standard, this very welcoming property has lots of space for an enjoyable break. Very close to the North beaches, albeit down hills, but that is Scarborough.

Superb property
We are three ladies who like their space and privacy, so we had a bedroom and a bathroom each in this gorgeous cottage. Everything was a very high standard in quality and cleanliness. We liked the little extra touches like the welcome pack too. Felt like a home from home, with everything supplied that could possibly be wished for, right down to a bucket and spade, picnic blanket and a flask for the beach.
The occupants of the two end bedrooms felt a little chilly at night, and they couldn’t seem to get the heating on in their rooms. There was a distinct change in temperature about half way up the stairs. But there was a bitter wind hitting that end of the house- it almost felt like a window was open somewhere. We probably weren’t operating the system/ the thermostatic radiators properly!
The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable, the towels beautifully soft and the shower as powerful as you like.
It was interesting to see that all 4 of the Albion Cottages can be rented so a perfect place for a large family group. I would highly recommend a stay here! And we will very likely be back.
Thank you Carol!

Perfect!
Loved all aspects of the house. So comfortable and had everything we needed. We loved walking down into town and to the waterfront, then back up the hill. Would recommend this cottage to everyone.

Beautiful cottage!
Had a two night stay with family and friends in August. We had seen the pictures of the cottage but they really did not do it justice! The standard of décor, the quality of fixtures and fittings and small touches like the welcome pack of food and drinks pods really made the stay fantastic. Also the location is perfect (although the hill is very steep!) down one side for the south bay and over the other and you're half way round to the north bay. I never write reviews of stays but credit where its due, this place is really worth a visit and we'll definitely be returning for a winter stay.

Fabulous Holiday Rental - Albion Cottaes
Me and my family had a wonderful weeks holiday at Albion Cottage. The property is finished to high quality and is a home from home. We visited Whitby, Goathland, Pickering and Bridlington, all within easy reach by both bus and car. Would recommend this to families and couples, it is simply stunning!! The little touches like welcome pack, toiletries and toilet rolls provided so as you arrive you have time to take in your surroundings and not have to rush off to the shops! Thank you
Carol and her family were really helpful, we will definitely be coming back xxx

About the host
Hosted by Carol Floris
I am a mother of 4 and I'm passionate about making people feel comfortable and at home. Being Irish with an Italian husband I'm used to large family gatherings and a welcoming environment.
Why they chose this property
The Albion Cottages has been a two-year family project converting an old pub in to four family friendly cottages. So much of the renovation has used recycled/reclaimed wood and steel from the old property and we have even made several items of furniture. We also provide eco-friendly and fair-trade welcome packs.
