Located at the end of a quiet residential street in central Tempe, our home features a completely private, enclosed landscaped yard. The property backs up directly to the northern border of the former Shalimar 9-hole golf course. While the course closed in April 2025, your backyard maintains peaceful, open views of a natural green space with large, mature trees and frequent visits from local birds, including lovebirds and hummingbirds.

Uniquely decorated in Southwest style, the home offers a layout that is highly private and perfect for a single or couple, two couples, groups of friends, or a family.

Living Spaces: Two separate, large living rooms divided by stone pillars, furnished with rich leather seating, a down chaise, a 60” Sony Smart TV, and streaming services (DirecTV & Amazon Prime).

Kitchen & Dining: A fully stocked chef’s kitchen with a 4-person table, plus a formal dining room that seats 8. Complete table service for 12, a blender, crockpot, juicer, and all essential utensils are provided.

Master Suite: Features a premium King-size Brooklyn Hybrid Bloom bed, a 40” TV, attached bathroom with shower, and a sliding door that opens directly to the patio and hot tub.

Second Bedroom: Crafted with knotty pine built-in woodwork, featuring a Queen-size bed and a large attached bathroom with twin sinks.

Privacy & Accessibility: The bedrooms are separated by a long hallway for maximum privacy. Both bathrooms feature multiple safety grab bars in the showers and tubs.

Private Backyard Oasis: Unlike many local vacation rentals, our outdoor space is entirely yours and fully surrounded by a wall for privacy.

The Hot Tub: A premium Dimensions I hot tub sits directly on the master patio, running on a dedicated heater—perfect for relaxing on crisp desert evenings year-round.

The Pool: A completely private, enclosed backyard pool. (PLEASE NOTE THE POOL IS UNHEATED). It is naturally warm and great for swimming or just relaxing from mid-April through mid-October.

Outdoor Living: The beautifully landscaped yard features separate lawns, citrus trees, and rose and flowering bushes. Enjoy a morning coffee on the furnished patio or grill dinner on the outdoor BBQ while enjoying the views.

Amenities & Added Extras: High-speed internet with panoramic Wi-Fi. Full-size washer and dryer. Three adult bicycles and one child's bike provided to enjoy the quiet, low-traffic neighborhood. Large garage and wide driveway with parking space for 2 cars.

Standard sleeping arrangements are for 4 guests on the King and Queen beds. For flexible layouts, an additional twin fold-away bed (best for children), a quality self-inflating Queen air mattress, and a twin mattress setup can be deployed from storage upon request.

Unbeatable Central Location. Our central location cuts down your driving time significantly. The property is less than 15 minutes from Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport and features nearby access to the US-60, Loop 101, and Loop 202 freeways.

10 Minutes or Less: Arizona State University (ASU), Mill Avenue, Tempe Town Lake, Tempe Marketplace, Papago Park, the Phoenix Zoo, Desert Botanical Gardens, and local spring training stadiums.

Nearby Conveniences: Multiple grocery stores, restaurants, and banks are located within 3 miles.

House Rules & Booking Requirements: We have worked hard to make our home a wonderful place to stay. Because this is our personal home filled with unique, breakable decor items, it is best suited for adults who will treat the property with care.

Age Requirement: The primary renter must be at least 35 years old. No Parties--Family entertaining is welcome, but large gatherings, parties, or events are strictly prohibited.

Tempe City Ordinance Compliance: Local law requires short-term rental owners to obtain the name and date of birth for each registered guest to conduct a standard federal background check. Please provide the names and dates of birth for all adult guests with your reservation request. If VRBO blocks the date of birth info, you will need to provide it by separate message.

Booking Request Note: Please include a brief explanation of the purpose of your visit and a short description of the guests staying in the home when you submit your inquiry.
