Le Clos Ste HĂ©lĂšne is an independent villa of 125 m2 on a plot of 600 m2 with a heated swimming pool (from May to September) of 8m x 4. The swimming pool is exclusively reserved for the villa located in a quiet area, not overlooked . Rest and tranquility will be assured.
The residence is located in Bessan, a small village of 4,200 inhabitants, set back from the major seaside resorts on the Languedoc coast.
You will benefit from the beaches which are hardly 8 km or 10 minutes away and from all the small shops in the village. The local market is Tuesday and Sunday.

Well presented house, good location, good for a family stay.

We enjoyed an excellent two week break at this well presented, comfortable house in the town of Bessan. The house itself is spacious, the lounge dining area in particular never felt cramped, the air con is great and a must if you have temperatures like we had (as hot as 39), the kitchen is a little on the small side but is pretty well equipped with major items and there are smaller bowls etc in the other dining area cupboards, if the weathers hot you tend to use the BBQ anyway. The pool and grounds are as good as they look, the pool heating system works well, generally being around 4 to 5 centigrade cooler than the air temperature, making it refreshing when you take a dip rather than a shock to the system! The pool security is also good (a must for us as we have small children). The town itself is pretty quiet, I'd call it pleasantly sleepy, the market was good and there are restaurants in the vicinity, though not really within walking distance of the house. The town gives good access to a number of beaches, we particularly enjoyed Meze and Marseillan-plage both within 20 to 30 minutes drive. If you fancy a day away from the beach Pezenas and its myriad of restaurants is a must, particularly of an evening when the medieval old town looks simply stunning. Minor downsides are that the air con serves the main living space of the house so the bedrooms can feel very warm at night (a couple of fans would really sort this out) and the square French pillows are a bit odd compared to our rectangular British ones (I liked them, the wife less so), they take a bit of getting used to. Lastly the shower in the bathroom is fine for cleaning the kids, but less good for adults, as there is no shower screen or high mounting for the shower head (fairly typical in France) as such its easier to shower in the pool house. We would happily book this property again.

Wir waren zum dritten Mal in diesem Haus. Ideal sind die drei Schlafzimmer und dass es auch aussen eine getrennte Dusche / Toilette gibt. Der Pool war mit 26 Grad beheizt, einer fĂŒr mich idealen Temperatur.In der NĂ€he sind Intermarche und Lidl als Einkaufsmöglichkeit vorhanden.Die Kommunikation mit der Verwalterin war einfach und stets freundlich. Alles war wieder sehr gut.

Das Haus und der Pool entsprachen voll der Beschreibung. ZweckmĂ€ssig eingerichtet mit allem was man braucht. Der Pool ist Weltklasse !!! Als erfahrener Ferienhausurlauber habe ich nichts zu bemĂ€ngeln. Ruhige Lage noch dazu, einfach super das Haus. Wir haben den Urlaub in Bessan in vollen ZĂŒgen genossen und werden wiederkommen.

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in dem Haus sehr genossen! Es war alles super und sehr gemĂŒtlich eingerichtet – perfekt fĂŒr uns als fĂŒnfköpfige Familie. Wieder sehr gut !

Wir waren zu dritt wieder in diesem Haus. Gebucht haben wir es wegen des beheizten Pools. Der hat eine ideale GrĂ¶ĂŸe. Den ganzen Tag kann man durch die ideale Lage des Hauses die Sonne geniessen. Die 2m hohe Mauer schĂŒtzt vor neugierigen Blicken. Die TV-Sender sind alle französisch. Aber dafĂŒr gibt es ja das Internet TV.

Nach dem regenreichen FrĂŒhjahr wollten wir die Sonne genießen, genau das haben wir getan. Das Haus entspricht 1:1 der Beschreibung. Es ist gut ausgestattet und liegt sehr ruhig. Wir haben einige AusflĂŒge mit dem Auto unternommen aber auch viel Zeit am Pool verbracht. Der Abschied viel schwer und wir können es unbedingt empfehlen.

Nous avons passĂ© un agrĂ©able sĂ©jour malgrĂ© la pluie.. il y a beaucoup de choses aux alentours Ă  dĂ©couvrir et la mer est vraiment pas loin en voiture. Le logement Ă©tait propre, l’hĂŽte amicale et arrangeante. Nous n’avons pas pu profiter de la piscine Ă  cause du temps mais nous n’hĂ©siterons pas Ă  revenir Ă  de plus beaux jours. Merci !

Sehr angenehmer Urlaub, beheizter Pool !

Das Einchecken war problemlos. Die Beschreibung entspricht dem Haus. Besteck und Geschirr sind in ausreichender Zahl vorhanden. Den ganzen Tag kann das sonnige GrundstĂŒck genutzt werden, bei Bedarf sind schattige Ecken vorhanden. Beim Pool befindet sich ein Aussenbad (Dusche und Toilette), sehr angenehm. Der Pool ist mit 26 Grad bestens zum Schwimmen geeignet. Wir waren im Oktober fĂŒr (leider nur) 2 Wochen dort und Helene organisierte dass der Pool geheizt wurde. Das haben wir natĂŒrlich extra bezahlt. Der Preis ist dank der vorhandenen WĂ€rmepumpe nicht hoch, bei uns waren es knapp € 40.-- pro Woche.

Wunderschöner Aufenthalt

Wir haben 2 sehr schöne Wochen in dem Haus verbracht. Im Prinzip absolute Ruhe, wenn nicht der Nachbar mit KreissĂ€ge und Presslufthammer zu Werke geht. Das Anwesen ist sehr gepflegt. Die Sitzpolsterauflagen wĂŒrden eine Renovierung vertragen. Aber das ist nur ein kleiner Schönheitsfehler.

Das Haus ist sehr gepflegt mit einem tollen Pool, den wir sehr gerne genutzt haben. Viele AusflĂŒge in der Umgebung haben uns einen tollen Eindruck von SĂŒdfrankreich gegeben, sowohl die StĂ€dte als auch die beeindruckende Natur im Umland.
