I gave four instead of five to the check-in process because the traffic is difficult there, and there is no place to park. Once I found a place to leave the car and walk, I was able to find the address and the property manager who is with there waiting for me. There was a plumbing problem in the apartment, and we had to stay in another apartment for the first night. That one was much smaller without all the amenities. However, the problem was resolved in our apartment and we moved the next day with the assistance of the property manager, who is very kind. The host, Angela, whom we never met face-to-face, was extremely kind. As mentioned, parking is very tight there, and we had the best parking arrangement possible with our own gated and locked garage. It was so convenient! Also, there is a supermarket, which is very high-quality, literally at the bottom of the stairs from the apartment! I can’t imagine anything more convenient. The apartment was quite beautiful and spacious with a lovely balcony with a nice garden and Mountain View. The view included other apartments, but nothing unpleasant. As for the location of the apartment, I thought it was perfect. There is a bus stop within one block, which can take you to the city center of Sorrento, and you can go by bus or car to the Amalfi coast or Naples, and by bus (or car,) to the ferry port for Capri. We loved our stay, and I would give it five stars for the parking alone, even if everything else had not been as wonderful.
