Stylish Family Friendly Gite, Village Location, with Shared Pool & Games Barn

L'Etable is one of a cluster of 4 character gites at La Fermette France in South Western France which share a 10mx5m swimming pool, Games Barn, and Orchard field with Boules pitch so there is plenty of room for a socially distanced holiday.

L'Etable is an old stone cowshed converted into a stylish 2 bedroomed gite with exposed stone walls and original beams, and packed full of baby and toddler kit designed to make your stay stress free. As well as the usual high chair, travel cot and stairgates we go one step further in also providing a whole host of other items including steriliser, baby bath, baby/toddler cutlery, crayons & paper, socket covers, and kitchen cupboard locks to name but a few.

The ground floor is dominated by an original Charentaise fireplace (not used) and the modern kitchen well equipped for comfortable holidays - the dining table seats up to 8, ideal for sociable evenings enjoying good food & excellent local wine!.... the TV has UK Freeview channels.

The master bedroom has a comfortable king size bed and room for a cot or travel cot if required. The bedroom next door is perfect for children (or grandparents) with twin beds & shutters at the window which act as blackout blinds (essential if you wake as soon as the sun shines in the morning!).

The south facing garden, a real suntrap, is great for relaxed BBQ's in the evening once the children are tucked up in bed (we have a baby intercom for peace of mind). The separate orchard field is ideal for kids to run around, or just watching the sun go down over the fields. We now also have a boules pitch in the field - get the boules from the Games Barn. Please help yourself to any fruits in season in the orchard field (peaches, cherries, pears, figs, quince and walnuts)……and if you feel active you can play table tennis, or table football in the Games Barn, or pack a picnic and head off for a cycle ride on the bikes, or maybe take the body boards to the beach...... And of course there is also the 10m x 5m shared pool surrounded by terrace and lawn providing real family space - it's fenced off for safety - the long first step into the pool is an ideal shallow area for toddlers to splash around safely.

The pool, games barn and orchard field are shared with guests staying in the other gites in the cluster at La Fermette France. Our other gites are:

> L'Ecurie, (property no. 6524561), the spacious studio apartment next door to L'Etable is ideal for grandparents. It's large enough to accommodate a travel cot (which we can supply)
> La Fermette farmhouse, (property 6524557) sleeps 7 and can accommodate families travelling together.
> Le Chai (property no. 6524559) has a gallery bedroom and sleeps 3
