A recently refurbished, well-presented one bedroom apartment on the 2th floor in Chelsea within easy walking distance of the boutiques, eateries and world renowned museums and department stores.
The apartment is excellently located between South Kensington and Sloane Square tube station (both 5 minutes walking)
Bright reception room, kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. Fully Furnished and has appliances, cooker, washing machine, heating etc. It has all kitchen equipment plates, cutlery, etc. Towels & Bedding are also provided. Sleeps up to 4 (2 in the bedroom on a double bed And either 2 in the lounge on two double sofa beds).
Oyster cards will be provided.

Small Spaces

The flat was located in the perfect spot for seeing London. I, however did not read ALL the reviews for this flat. The pictures provided are of the flat, but do not do it justice for how SMALL each room is. The kitchen is literally a closet. The bed in the bedroom FILLS the room, and not because it is a large bed. The paint on the walls is cracked, peeling and shows discoloration. The bathmat in the bathroom had pink mold on it. My sister happened to get an identical flat next door that had been updated (bathroom, kitchen, bedding) which only made our flat seem more dilapidated. We were provide exactly two towels and two hand towels for an entire week. This is a good value for the location...but it is no frills.

Appartement au dernier étage bien placé . Calme ( nous étions seuls ds l immeuble ), on entends certes un peu les avions mais ce n est pas dérangeant. Petite cuisine bien équipée, il mériterait d avoir des travaux de rafraîchissements notamment côté fenêtre qui se ferment très mal. Nous avons passé 4 bonnes nuits avec nos 2 enfants qui dorment dans un canapé lit du salon confortable Sauf erreur le propriétaire vit en Italie et c est gabriella qui s occupe de la gestion sur place . Elle est très accueillante. Elle nous a permis de laisser nos valises ds un coffee shop de confiance pour visiter tranquillement la ville car l avion était le soir , merci encore. Très bon séjour de surcroît sous le soleil !

Bright apartment in central location

We had a wonderful stay at Nicola’s small apartment. The neighbourhood is fantastic, all sights are easy to reach by bus or underground. Shops, art galleries, Cafés and restaurants are around the corner. Our host was very friendly and ready to help. The apartment is a bit draughty as the windows don’t close properly and it might be a bit warm in summer.

***BEDBUGS**BEDBUGS** Disaster!

This vacation started off in misery after booking this bedbug infested apartment. We were only in the apartment less than 8 hours before my wife and two daughter were bitten by bedbugs from head to toe. It has been a week now and we are still suffering from the bites. The apartment is extremely small, and needs major restoration. The pictures on the VRBO site are very dated. The place had a broken window in the bathroom, and drywall and plaster peeling from the ceiling and walls. The owner did refund my rental fees, but refuses to pay the additional costs incurred due to having to leave last minute and find a new place, along with medication for the bites and sprays to kill the bugs that went through our luggage. Not to mention the stress and pain involved in this entire nightmare. Stay away!

Great spot in London! Location! Location! Location! And Gabriella!

We had a marvelous time in London. This is an older building, a bit quirky, but so happy it’s preserved and cared for. South Kensington tube stop is a few blocks away. The neighborhood is very quiet at night so we could open the windows at night. The building is very secure. The apartment had all the amenities for our stay. There are stairs to climb so if knee issues are bothersome, then maybe secure a ground floor flat instead. Gabriella is an excellent host and was very helpful. We appreciated her interest in our comfort and London adventure. Yes, we would choose this place again when we return to London in the next few years. Cheers!

Estupenda

La casa corresponde totalmente a lo previsto según las fotos aportadas por el propietario. Zona muy buena y segura, cerca dos estaciones de metro y supermercado con todo lo necesario para nuestra estancia. El apartamento tiene todo lo necesario para pasar unos días, electrodomésticos, lavadora, secadora, toallas, ropa de cama, productos de limpieza,... Lo único a mejorar es la cortina de ducha, creo que da muy mal aspecto, repaso de pintura del techo, había grietas, los nórdicos estaban manchados, y alguna cortina en la ventana que tiene el techo del salón, entra mucha luz. En general, la estancia ha sido bastante buena, familia de dos adultos y dos niños

Sehr helle und ruhige Wohnung in zentraler Lage

Die Buchung war absolut unkompliziert, die Schlüsselübergabe nett und freundlich. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber und gut eingerichtet. Wir hatten zu dritt viel Platz und haben die helle, ruhige Wohnung sehr genossen. Die Picadally Line ist fußläufig gut erreichbar. Restaurants, Geschäfte und Supermärkte in unmittelbarer Nähe.

Everything you need

We are a family of four (our two girls slept on the sofa bed). The apartment was in a great location - walking distance to Harrods and two tube stations. It is small in size and very simple but ultimately has everything you could need. The only thing I would note is that the sofa bed is underneath a skylight and in Summer, the daylight hours are very long so I’d suggest bringing some sleep masks for anyone who plans to use that bed. As mentioned many times already, Gabriella is a lovely person and was very eager to help in any way she could. Thank youGabriella!

Bright cosy old English charmer

The location is perfect for us. Middle of city in a quite neighbourhood. Apartment is small with everything you will need for a short stay in London. We ready appreciated that owner works with us and let us in the place 8 am. The bedroom can be warm as it only has one small window. It is older building so some cracks and peeling paint. But that is part of charm. We loved how bright this place is. We enjoyed our stay.

This flat is very well situated for walking and transit. Some structural problems need fixing

We appreciated the friendly welcome and orientation from Gabriella, after a long day of traveling. The flat is bright and nicely decorated in the bedroom and main area. The fold-out bed in the main area was very comfortable and ended up being the bed of choice, as there is very little room to manoeuvre in the bedroom. The structural problem in this flat is the matter of cracks, falling plaster and drips from the ceiling in the main area. (Unfortunately this is one of the things we will remember about our stay here.)

the manager Gabriella met us as we arrived and showed us around the apartment and let us know she was nearby if we needed anything - a very nice touch. My family (2 adults and 2 teenagers) very much enjoyed the apartment - on the top (2nd) floor with an elegant skylight - and loved the area.

great location

Although this apartment is very functional, great location and well lite it lacked amenities that would enhance the visitor experience. This includes a few more towels, basic toiletries such as tooth paste, bar soap, hand cream and lotions. A cleaner kitchen would be helpful with ground coffee and milk. Host was timely and helpful.

Kitchen is ridiculously awkward —Way too small; nowhere to prepare anything.

Location is the best thing about this place. Television is ancient with very few choices. Place is generally “tired” and could use a make-over.

Super location!

We really enjoyed our stay. The flat had all we needed. The location was incredibly central and walkable to many places. We found South Kensington to be the most convenient underground stop as it connected with the circle, district and Piccadilly lines. The shower was a bit tight and the water spigots are mislabeled (just to let you know, as you stand there, trying to figure it out....) but most everything was clean, cozy and convenient

Very good location. Between Sloane Square and South Kensington. Light and airy flat suits couple.

The flat is on the 2nd (top) floor (3rd floor American style) and has lots of light. The public areas are well kept. In the flat there is a good washing machine and dryer, and drying racks for clothes. The kitchen is small but well equipped with electric kettle, pop up toaster, microwave and dishwasher in addition to sink, stove and oven. Beds were comfortable. Main bedrooom a bit small but quite adequate. There are 2 sofas that can be used as double beds for occasional visitors. The area is quiet. There is a grocery (Sainsbury’s) very close and 2 coffee shops. King’s Road is 5 minutes away and has an abundance of restaurants, food shops, clothing shops etc. it is great for museums, the V & A being my favourite, a 10 minute walk.

Great location is perfect for a couple

Location is close to Sloane Square and South Kensington underground tubes, with quick ride to Westminster. Walking distance to Victoria and Albert, and Natural History Museum. Apartment is small with all needed amenities. The kitchen is well laid out with 3 x 6 foot space for the cook with refrigerator, oven, stove top, dishwasher, microwave, sink and cupboards all within reach. Expect to carry your luggage up narrow stairs to the apartment. Gabriella gave us great advise for getting from the airport and met us at the apartment. She was prompt and very helpful in answering questions during our stay.

Pictures can be Decieiving

the photos of the apartment look great but the kitchen is in a closet (literally with a door which opens into a couch you cannot move) it and is nightmare if you want to cook anything -- no counter space. The bedroom has a queen size bed which though comfortable barely fits in the room. The bathroom is okay bit if they ever have the opportunity to remodel it take out the bathtub and put in a stall shower then you might have some room to operate in.

Estupendo apartamento en Chelsea

Nuestra familia de cuatro disfrutamos de una estancia muy agradable en este apartamento. Con el frío que hace en Londres en diciembre, se agradecía mucho el confort que proporcionaba la calefacción. Tiene un buen tamaño para pasar unos días y un equipamiento muy completo en el baño, en la cocina, etc.; por otro lado, estaba todo muy limpio. Buena situación, con supermercados cercanos, y bien comunicado con el metro y buses. Muy buena atención desde el principio por parte de Nicola y de Gabriella, que ha estado muy pendiente de nosotros en todo momento, siempre muy amable. Sin duda lo recomendaría a cualquier persona y yo misma repetiría en futuros viajes a Londres.

FANTÁSTICO APARTAMENTO EN LONDRES!!!

Recomiendo este apartamento ya no sólo por la ubicación que es estupenda, barrio de Chelsea, tranquilo con lujosas tiendas, con un buen supermercado a 2 esquinas de la casa, así como el consulado español por si tenéis algún problema a 3 calles de la casa... además el Museo de Historia Natural, muy recomendable para los niños con boca de metro enfrente para seguir recorriendo Londres. Centrándonos en el piso en si, la casa es acogedora, con una calefacción muy buena así como la distribución,la cocina es pequeña pero con todos los electrodomésticos y utensilios. El único dormitorio esta separado del resto de la casa por una puerta, tiene un gran armario empotrado con espejo, la cama es de 1,30. Por experiencia personal, yo he estado 5 días con mis hijos y marido en el mes de Diciembre con mucho frío y nos ha agradado mucho, volveremos seguro, pero también advierto, el propósito es como todo vas a visitar la ciudad y estás todo el día fuera de la casa, quiero decir que no es para estar todo el día metido puesto que no es grande. Si alguien está interesado y quiere más referencias que se ponga en contacto conmigo.

Schönes Appartment in guter Lage

Wir waren zu dritt in diesem Appartment für einen Kurztrip, eignet sich aber auch super für eine längeren Aufenthalt. Es ist alles vorhanden was so brauch, Check-in und out verlief Probelmlos :) Es liegt sehr zentral und zwei U-Bahn Stationen liegen in 5 min. Fußweg, sowie auch ein Supermarkt der bis 0 Uhr geöffnet hat.

Great location; excellent value

My husband and I spent a comfortable, warm, and easy 9 day stay in London in Nicola's Chelsea flat. The apartment is maintained to a high degree and is comfortably furnished with a great bed, and comfortable pull-out sofa, which we had to use, since we both had colds and it was difficult to sleep without waking each other. The heating was excellent (important for us cold-natured Texans ;-) ) and having a washer in-house made traveling easy. The location couldn't have been more convenient, and Nicola's assistant Gabriella who welcomed us, made our London stay perfect. A 100% recommend to a couple (or single) wanting well-appointed accomodations in the heart of the city.

Great location for everything London!

My family of four loved our time at the flat. Like most London accommodations it is a bit tight for four but, for us, it was just perfect as we were out all day and only in at night to sleep, clean up and have a bit of breakfast each morning before heading out again. Within walking distance to two tube stations with plenty of shops for whatever you might need. The street that this building is on is short and not on a direct route so it was quiet at night, allowing us to recharge before heading out again. It was nice to have a combination bathtub/shower so that you could have a soak after a long day of walking London’s streets. The management was wonderful, accomidating our preference to come by early to drop our bags, a few hours before the “official” check-in time. The couch folds out to a large sleeping area that my two teens shared, while my wife and a slept in the separate bedroom. The small kitchen was functional for one person at a time but having a stove, oven and dishwasher made a difference for us. We enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to stay again if we are visiting London in the future!
