The location of the Lil Pearl is excellent. It's an easy walk to Center Street and the beach. But the immediate area is quiet. The house is very cozy and cute and most importantly, clean. The little extras such as snacks and toiletries as well as plenty of towels were an added bonus. We had a great time and a relaxing vacation!

The cute little cottage was perfect for our short stay at Folly Beach. We came for the 4th of July fireworks -that were cancelled - but enjoyed our stay nevertheless. Cottage is as described online. Beds were comfortable and we had everything that we needed.

The kitchen was fully equipped. The host was outstanding, helpful, and even checked with us physically when we encountered a problem with city heavy equipment working on the driveway. This was a one-time event. The upside was meeting the host personally and being able to be in contact with her by phone. The chiminea had a supply of sticks to burn too.

A great little beach house

The Lil' Pearl was a sweet little beach house and was fully equipped with anything we might need. We were able to walk to the beach and to the downtown area to find places to eat. My husband and I enjoyed our get-away.

Perfect place - Close to beach and town

We had a lovely stay. We were able to walk almost everywhere. Beach was only a few blocks away and easy travel. Neighborhood was quiet and quaint. The house was fully stocked which made it easy for me to grab a cup of coffee that first morning. Teresa was very responsive and ensured that our arrival was welcoming and departure easy.

Lil Pearl was the perfect cottage for our weekend away. We rented a golf cart and enjoyed the island for two whole days. It was perfectly located and so close to the beach!! If you want a quintessential beach weekend, This place is it!

I am a Columbia, SC native but have lived in Folly Beach for the last 33 yrs. I raised 2 wonderful daughters on Folly Beach and just can't think of a better place to live. I almost want to keep it a secret but then I think everyone should experience little 'Mayberry by the Sea' or 'Edge of America' as it is coined.
I have been renting my long term properties for the past 35 years. However, I enjoy the vacation rental properties the most. It's so enjoyable meeting my guests and helping them have the best experience possible during their stay and being in the most beautiful spot that I know, Folly Beach. I love to share my favorite spots and experiences with my Guests at this little slice of heaven.

Why they chose this property

The "Lil Pearl" is convenient, simple, comfortable, clean, fresh, fun, tasteful, affordable, and just 'Folly'. Not a "resort style cookie cutter". I never liked those much, what so ever.
Real elegance comes in a much simpler fashion.

Boat dockage on the Folly Inlet may be available for use depending on your reservation dates.
One of the few "Folly" Cottages left ie., NO STEPS!
