A good location but a mediocre apartment

We were on a driving holiday and wanted to include Barcelona without having to drive into the centre of the city. This apartment is well located, being easily accessible from the northern expressway and it is also served by two metro lines to the city centre. The optional parking (at 10 Euros a night) is located in a garage about 200 metres from the apartment. We had wanted to arrive at 5.15pm but Valentina was not able to get to the apartment until 5.45 when the cleaning was still being done. The apartment is quiet and clean and its furnishings functional rather than stylish (which the website photos show). It would benefit from better maintenance ¬– for example, there were several blown or missing light bulbs and one of the toilets was not working when we arrived. We were also unable to securely lock the door to the front balcony. The galley kitchen is fairly well-equipped (although a couple of microwaveable bowls would be useful). There was a useful array of basic cooking essentials – oils, pasta, tea, coffee, sugar etc. We did not use the washing machine, which is located out on one of the two balconies. The wifi is strong and reliable in the living room, but it dropped out in the main bedroom at the other end of the apartment. The main advantage of the apartment is its very convenient location. Inside, it is serviceable, but not as well presented as other comparable apartments. If returning to Barcelona we would probably search for another option in the same area.

Good place to stay

3 good bedrooms 2 with good doble bed and one with single bed in good quality. The sofa bed to sleep in the living room very comfortable for our teenagers and best area with AC The host really friendly and answered all our questions. The restaurant she recommended in the area was excellent Just one bathroom with shower , very clean

Family Trip in Barcelona

This apartment is tight for 7 people; it would be better for 5-6. Valentina was great about accommodating us and easy to communicate with. There are three bedrooms: two easily sleep two people and one has a small bed. I used the balcony to catch up on work each morning. The apartment is only a few minutes walk from La Sagrera station on L5 of the metro which made it easy to get anywhere...including the airport.

Great little apartment in nice quiet area

Really enjoyed our stay at the La Segrera apartment. Clean, comfortable and quiet at night, especially in the bedrooms which were to the rear of the property. We did enjoy the balcony in the evening though - even if it was a little smaller than it appeared in the photos. Location was great, close to local supermarkets, cafes and a metro station to take us right into the centre of Barcelona quickly and cheaply. Valentina was great too, very friendly and helpful.

Great Apartment in a nice part of the city

This was a 3 bedroom apartment with one and a half bathrooms which is great for families or a group of friends. The place was clean and Valentina was an exellent host. Communication with her was great and she was very helpful with the check in process. There is also a parking spot available that was very close by. The area had many restaurants and some small grocery stores as well as having the metro station just 2 blocks away. Very convenient for exploring the city.

memorable Barcelona

We are 3 traveling senior friends and we wanted a comfortable home base for our 5night stay in Barcelona and this flat really came through. Valentina was a gracious host and very helpful for any needs we had. The Flat is very spacious and had all the amenities that we needed. The AC was wonderful as it was quite hot when we were there. We spent most nights relaxing on the balcony enjoying a drink after our days of sightseeing. The location is great in a quiet neighborhood only minutes from the subway so getting around the city was easy. I would not hesitate to stay here again on my return to Barcelona.

Perfect place just 20-30 mins from attractions

We arrived and Edwin was finishing up cleaning the place. Very thorough and much appreciated. Valentina is a superb host and very pleasant to talk to. She took the time to refer us to local restaurants and directions to the beach. And tips to navigate our way around Barcelona. We really enjoyed the location as our first night we visited s local tapas bar on a roof top and it was a 10 minute walk away. The rest of our stay we enjoyed the convenience of the subway (10 minutes away). We also took a 25 minute walk and enjoyed a local churros place. Valentina checked us in within 10 minutes of our arrival and responded to any questions via Vrbo that we may have had. Thank you Valentina for being a wonderful host to our family.

Cute home and close to main metro

The location was away from the super busy areas, but close enough to a main metro to get us everywhere we needed to go. Rooms were great and the shower was wonderful! Our host was fantastic and was waiting for us when we arrived to let us in and give us any information we needed. Would stay here again!
