The villa was very good and had everything we needed. It was situated close to a supermarket and was an easy walk to Villeneuve centre. The facilities in the villa were excellent and the checking in and out was stress free.

Wonderful stay

We had a fantastic week in this Villa. We are a family of 5 with small children 2,3 and 7 the children had a great week in the pool and visits to the beach which was around 1:30hrs drive away and definitely worth the drive. Large villa with everything we needed. Fantastic check in and communication with the owner. Would highly recommend. Thank you

Nice Villa & Pool - problems with facilities.

First impression good although soon realised that renting a car essential due to location. Friendly and obliging person at check-in but first floor air-conditioning not checked prior to our arrival and found to be not working. Family members had to sleep in lounge. Other problems experienced with using facilities not helped by inaccurate and misleading guest information in ‘Practical Information’ folder.Efforts were made to minimise our discomfort and solve problems but didn’t save our disappointment.

It was unfortunate the air conditioning broke down during your week, and being the hottest week of the summer, previous family didn’t signal any discomfort. As you well pointed out we did everything we could to sort it out. Bought two individual machines in 48h and had the electrician check the problems. Everything was then solved for next coming families with new machine installed to replace the broken one. Despite the efforts your family chose to sleep downstairs with air conditioning at very low mode, 19 degrees is not healthy if out is 36. Unfortunately these are the challenges of planet changes. I hope you liked Provence and will come back.

Family week in late July.

Firstly, all of our interactions with the owner and the lady who handed the property over were excellent, which always inspires confidence that all will be well. Which it was. The living space was really excellent and worked very well for us (parents, 3 male offspring between 16 and 21). Kitchen had everything you need. Plenty of loungers for outside. Pool 8m by 4m and the water was changed very frequently so it was very, very clean. I’d guess it was 1m 40 cm deep. Anyway, just the job for swimming, bobbing about and playing games with balls! Bedrooms are a fabulous, very large en-suite which opens onto the pool terrace, a double with balcony upstairs and three other rooms with combinations of singles. All a good size. There is also a bathroom/ separate wc upstairs and a separate we downstairs off the large entrance hall. Our children said it was the best sleeping arrangement they’ve had in several villas over the years. There is air con throughout and it seemed very efficient, although we tended to use the upstairs one only. Downstairs we just opened all the fantastic sliding doors onto the garden. The garden is a decent size and we enjoyed a competitive games of boules each evening. Do come prepared with mosquito repellent though! It is a few minutes drive to an excellent Carrefour supermarket with plenty of parking. The roads are very, very quiet. We drove every morning to load up with drinks and would often saunter back in the afternoon, a pleasant 12 or so minute walk each way. Decent pizzas available in same commercial zone as well as a very good pharmacy and bakery. You can walk into the VERY pretty and interesting Villeneuve in about 15 minutes. There are a couple of cafes with outside seating, but we didn’t use any of the two or three restaurants. The walk back is a bit of a climb and will probably take 20 minutes. Plan your route carefully, though because the naming of roads doesn’t exactly correspond with google maps! We drove down stopping in Crecy sur serre and Valence and on the way back in Beaune. This was good as we only took about 2hr steady driving on the Saturday of arrival. The A7 is bonkers on a Saturday so stay south of Lyon on the Friday! You could also do Eurostar and get the number 5 bus up to within 10 minutes of the house. This bus also whisks you to Avignon in about 13 minutes and costs a Euro per trip. Yes, can definitely recommend a stay here. We came back very relaxed until the Dartford tunnel...

Bella villa vicino Avignone

La posizone della villa è perfetta, zona tranqullissima, a due passi da Avignoe e ottima per visitare la Provenza. La villa ha un bel giardino ombroso, una bella piscina, uno spazio giorno molto ampio e verandato, cucina molto ben attrezzata, camere da letto sono 5, una al piano terra molto ampia con bagno completo (docia+wc), tutti questi sono i punti di forza. Le altre 4 camere da letto sono al primo piano con una bagno (solo doccia e vasca da bagno) ed un altro bagno (solo wc), questa è stata l'unica cosa scomoda, ovvero che per 4 camere da letto (quindi 8 persone) c'è solo un bagno al piano di sopra. Inoltre qui sopra l'aria condizonata è centralizzata ed ha fatto un po' fatica a rinfrescare gli ambienti (era comunque il periodo più caldo dell'anno). Abbiamo avuto qualche problema con la piscina, ed abbiamo trovato molta disponibilità scrivendo direttamente alla proprietaria Maria (che era in ferie), così abbiamo risolto noi il problema con il suo aiuto telefonico, invece la persona incaricata da Maria ci ha risposto solo il giorno dopo. La stessa persona incaricata dalla proprietaria al check-in è stata un po' sbrigativa, ci ha fatto vedere la casa, ma non ci ha spiegato niente sulla casa e non ha controllato se fosse in funzione il depuratore della piscina. Nel complesso il rappporto qualità è giusto. Abbiamo avuto un soggiorno complessivamente piacevole.

Tout était parfait !

Pour profiter du festival d'Avignon et de Villeneuve en scène, on ne peut pas trouver meilleur emplacement. La piscine, et la clim à l'intérieur, nous ont permis de résister à la chaleur caniculaire. Les équipements de la maison font qu'on s'y sent comme chez soi. Maria, par mail, est très disponible, et Eulalia, sur place, est aussi agréable qu'efficace pour nous accueillir dans une maison qui sent bon le propre !

Super séjour dans une très belle maison.

Une grande maison très lumineuse très bien équipée. Un beau jardin, et une belle piscine dont les enfants ont bien profité même en ce début de saison. Tout est accessible sans voiture (c'était notre cas) mais probablement encore plus facile avec voiture. Très bon accueil !

Très agréable maison à recommander à deux pas de toutes commodités. .

Très agréable séjour dans cette maison au calme. Les plus: la climatisation , la cuisine est très bien équipée ( nespresso, nécessaire pour pâtisserie....), l'espace intérieur, l'accueil à l'arrivée. Le petit moins: il manque une terrasse à côté de la véranda, une table de jardin 6 personnes, cest trop juste pour une location 10 personnes. Mervi pour ce séjour, nous reviendrons 😃

Très belle et grande maison, bien agencée, au calme mais proche du carrefour market, boulangerie et tabac/presse en 12 min à pied. Bien située pour les différents départs pour les visites. La piscine est top, très apprécié après les visites et le jardin en partie ombragé est un plus. Propriétaire ainsi que la personne qui s'occupe de la maison sont très disponible. Rien à redire, nous conseillerons vivement cette maison autour de nous.

Agréables vacances

Nous avons passé une semaine de vacances en famille dans cette maison. La maison est propre et spacieuse avec une belle suite parentale face à la piscine et quatre chambres confortables à l'étage. La cuisine est moderne et très bien équipée. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié la piscine et la climatisation qui nous offraient un havre de fraîcheur pendant cette période de canicule. La situation de la maison est idéale. Avignon est à 15 minutes en voiture et les commerces sont à proximité mais la maison est au calme. Nous recommandons vivement cette location et reviendrons avec plaisir.

Ein geräumiges, gut ausgestattetes Haus mit einem schönen Garten

Wir waren zu acht in dem Haus, um als Gruppe junger Journalisten vom Theaterfestival in Avignon zu berichten. Es war eine perfekte Homebase, um zu arbeiten, sich auf die Aufführungen vorzubereiten, aber auch, um abzuschalten und zu entspannen. Die Küche ist groß genug, um zu dritt oder viert darin zu kochen. Der weiträumige Wohn- und Essbereich ermöglicht ein kommunikatives Miteinander. Die Zimmer sind als Rückzugsorte bestens geeignet. Der Garten ist schattig, der Poolbereich einladend. Geschirr und Küchenutensilien sind ausreichend vorhanden. Wir werden gerne wiederkommen.

We stayed at the property last week in August 2017 and were massively impressed - the pictures on the website do not do it justice. There is a massive amount of space and a very secluded garden. The house has everything you could possibly need, lots of thought gone into the stocking of it's contents. We had regular contact with the owner who could not do enough to help us and was easily accessible for any queries. The only tiny negative thing was that the extensive amount of tourist information at the house was in French. All in all an excellent property which made for an brilliant holiday in Provence.
