Fantastic property. Host was wonderful. He regularly checked in with us and provided recommendations. It was a perfect French cottage very close to town Great location to explore other areas by car. St Remy is charming with great restaurants and shops
We had a lovely stay with our family of four. We loved that the property was beautiful and quiet and just a short drive from the center of town. Franck was so kind and helpful, offering local restaurant recommendations and ensuring that we had a comfortable stay. He was communicative and readily available. We had so much fun exploring the area and then cooling off in the well-kept pool. We would definitely stay here again.
Traditional house in great surroundings. We really enjoyed the garden and the large pool. Saint Remy is within easy walking distance and there are sooo many stunning destinations nearby. Thank you so much for a wonderful week.
Frank and Marie Noelle were so kind and accommodating. The place was so quaint, clean and peaceful. We LOVED it there. St. Remy with restaurants, markets, and everything we needed were just down the road, walking distance. Was so very lovely.
The property itself was exactly as described. It was clean, tidy and well organised. Everything we needed for our stay was provided. Franck was extremely helpful before and during our stay, he was friendly and communicative. Franck provided a great list of places to eat in the local area and was always available if we had any further needs. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to return for future holidays!
Our family spent a wonderful break in provence at Franck's house. Franck was a very welcoming host and made sure we had everything we needed. He was happy to keep the pool open for us for an extra couple of days as my daughter was keen to swim. The house is lovely and we enjoyed having lunch and dinner outside looking at the olive trees. It was so peaceful and calm. It was also close and easy enough to walk into the village and go to the markets and explore Saint Remy. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
My husband and I spent 6 nights in this peaceful oasis which was a15 minute walk to the town of St. Remy and a short hike to a beautiful lake area. Surrounded by olive trees, fragrant roses and wild poppies, we loved relaxing in the private garden with the delicious items we picked up at the market in town. Monsieur Franck was very kind and helpful. I highly recommend if you want to have a truly Provençal experience.
A wonderful location in the middle of an olive grove. Very peaceful and quiet. The swimming pool was large, clean and only for your own use. The house was very well equipped if not the most modern standard.
A 20 min. walk to the village with good shopping facilities.
Franck and his wife were very friendly and helpful.
Unfortunately the weather was very mixed: Mistral, rain, sun and quite cool for the time of year. Nevertheless we had a great holiday and can fully recomend the location.
We spent a wonderful week at this property, enjoying the peace and tranquility of a rural gite, whilst also being only a 15 minute walk from bustling Saint-Remy.
The hosts were on hand when we needed them, but very discreet, living in the adjacent house. The small garden was lovely and private and the pool was just a few minutes' walk away. We had the pool to ourselves thoughout our stay.
There is a big siupermarket on the far edge of Saint-Remy with everything you could possibly need, plus a small supermarket in the town.
One highlight of our trip was a visit to Tarascon - the castle is incredible!
The air con was a real blessing as temperatures reached 40 degrees in June!
Our lasting memories are of the peace and quiet, listening to ciccadas on the patio in the evenings.
We stayed 4 nights in this lovely rural house. It is a very quiet location. What a delight. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots, pans, spices, tea, coffee, sugar, coffee filters. The bathroom shower worked very well, plenty of hot water and it was nice to be able to do laundry and hang it outside to dry. We used the barbeque 2 nights and it worked beautifully. The wall heaters worked well for us. The owners are nearby in house nextdoor for questions but give you plenty of privacy. Franck was a delight to deal with, gave us great directions and was so nice when we arrived later than planned. The house is very convenient to St Remy town centre, Les Baux, Glanum Arles, Avignon. 4 days was nice but we could have happily stayed longer. We highly recommend.
We had a 3-week stay; for 2 weeks, there were only two of us, a senior couple, and for one week, we were six adults and one small child. The entire stay was wonderful. We spent many great happy hours in the beautiful yard, where our granddaughter ran and played to her heart's content. The hosts, Franck and Marie-Noëlle, were terrific - unobtrusive, but friendly and always immediately available to answer any questions. The location of the house was ideal for us - beautiful country setting, but an easy 15-minute walk into the lovely, interesting town of Saint-Remy, and with a large variety of great day excursions to nearby towns and historical sites. As for the house itself, it is extremely well equipped; we had everything needed to prepare our own meals. The house is of a charming, rustic type. The bathroom could do with some updating, but if you're not overly fastidious, you will find it very enjoyable overall.
A recommander!
Grand merci à Franck, on reviendra!
We loved the small house in the apilles. You can walk to Glanum, to Les Baux, to St Remy, we did not hire a car for the first week but bikes to get croissants in the morning. Though we stayed in October, we could eat outside all the time. Thank you Franck (the owner) for everything.
