About this property

Authentic mas provençal, 2 swimming pools, grocery store on foot, village center, beautiful view

In a small picturesque village surrounded by olive groves and vineyards, you will appreciate the comfort, the charm and the authenticity of this big old house, perfectly renovated.

The garden, vast, presents many spaces, offering different atmospheres, with always beautiful views of the surrounding hills and generous plants.
The originality of the property is its two pools, one of 10m * 5m, conducive to games and swimming while the Zen pool, in its stone, invites relaxation.

This house is our second home, so it is very well equipped, whether in appliances, dishes, furniture or bedding ..... Baby cot available if necessary.

On the ground floor:

a large living room with open kitchen (and back kitchen) dining room, living room and toilet; a parental suite (vast room with a queen size bed, terrace, office and room of water / WC)

Upstairs:
Anduze Room: two single beds
Collias room: a double bed
Uzes room: a double bed

The bathroom is equipped with two sinks, a shower, a jacuzzi bath; the toilet is independent.

The land of 1100 m² is fully fenced and closed by two gates. The garden is equipped with automatic watering and maintenance of the pool is done once a week.

As soon as you leave the house you can take hiking or mountain bike trails, marked out; they guide you through the scrubland and its Provencal scents, eg. at the top of Montaigu nearby, from where the view, near the Madonna, carries, well beyond the towers of Uzes, to Pic Saint Loup and Mont Ventoux.

Beautiful and very relaxing location

We stayed for two weeks in summer and enjoyed the house a lot. It is renovated with a lot of style and very spacious. The garden is large and offers shaded corners to relax every time of the day. The village and neighborhood is very quiet and from the upper pool there is a beautiful view to the Mont Aigu. The large pool was great for the kids. A highlight for us was that you can go running or biking directly from the house to the forest / garrigue away from the road. We had a great and very relaxing time, thanks a lot!

Dreamy French Farmhouse

My family and I and another couple stayed in this lovely home for 5 wonderful days/nights. The location was perfect for day trips in the region (Uzes, Pont du Gard, Cascades du Sautudet etc.) and the local trails were nice for short hikes and regional views. The kitchen was very well stocked and we enjoyed several home cooked meals (using the charcoal grill) which were eaten at the table in the courtyard. There are tables on both sides of the house and umbrellas are provided for creating shade. The shop in the village had all we needed for nice breakfasts and lunches. The pools were wonderful. We swam in both pools every day. Make sure to bring your own pool towels! We brought Turkish towels which are thin so they pack well and dry quickly. We also played boule (AKA bocce or pétanque) and ping pong. The upstairs living room has musical instruments and lots of games, and both upper and lower living rooms have TVs. My kids enjoyed watching movies on Netflix. In other words, this house has everything you need! I highly recommend this lovely house!!

Contact avec la dame qui s’occupe de laMaison pour l’arrivée, impeccable. Bâtiment authentique et de standing, ameublement confortable, draps et serviettes très propres et qui sentent bon. piscines nickel. Petits hics niveau Vaisselle insuffisante et pas à la hauteur du reste (on dirait de la vaisselle de brocante). Plusieurs casseroles étaient rangées sales dans les armoires. Aucun produit de base à dispo à part du poivre, du sel et 1 cm d’huile d’olives. Il a fallu tout acheter même le produit de vaisselle. Dans ce genre de location, un « welcome pack » me semble être normal. Pour le reste, magnifique !

Sehr schönes Haus

Das Haus ist sehr großzügig, gut ausgestattet und sauber. Die Betten sind bequem und es ist alles da was man braucht. Wir waren zu 6 erwachsenen Personen es gibt ausreichend Platz für alle. Das Haus ist schön eingerichtet, beide Pools sind toll. Wer wandern möchte sollte unbedingt festes Schuhwerk einpacken. Die Umgebung ist herrlich und es gibt viel zu entdecken.

Grande maison très agréable avec du charme ; de nombreux espaces pour bien profiter et tout le confort . A l extérieur, 2 terrasses très agréables en fonction de l heure de la journée. La région est magnifique et offre beaucoup de possibilités. Nous étions 7 adultes et gardons un très bon souvenir de notre semaine en famille. Une petite épicerie dans le bourg qui permet de préparer des repas de qualité à un prix abordable.

Villa grand confort dans un environnement calme

Quel agréable séjour avons nous passé en ce début de mois de juin. Nous étions 4 adultes, 1 enfant de 3,5 ans et un bébé de deux mois. La villa est vraiment spacieuse et bénéficie de deux voire trois terrasses avec des ambiances différentes. Ce qui nous a marqué; c'est le calme absolu qui entoure cette villa. Aucun passage vehicule et pas de voisin derrangeant. La piscine a été évidemment très appréciée pour le côté fraicheur, mais aussi la bâtisse en elle même qui nous a permis de bénéficier de 21 à 22 degrés alors qui faisait jusqu'à 34 degrés à l'extérieur. La situation géographique dela villa permet un rayonnement sur les circuits de rando mais aussi sur les visites touristiques et patrimoine à moins de 45 minutes en voiture. Séjour vraiment reposant et énergisant. Notez que les photos du site ne mettent pas en valeur le charme et le cachet de ce Mas super cool.

Einfach Traumhaft

Wir waren zu Pfingsten 2023 für zwei Wochen in dieser wunderschönen und ruhig gelegenem Ferienhaus. Wir haben uns von der ersten Minute an sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Ausstatung ist sehr umfangreich und läßt keine Wünsche offen. Von Ort aus kann man sehr viele schöne Ausflüge planen. Point du Gard, Avignon, Nimes, Uzes , Lussan und vieles mehr. Wer es ruhig mag und zum einkaufen ein paar Minuten Fahrt in Kauf nimmt ist hier 1A richtig.

Très bon séjour

Nous avons passé une très bonne semaine aux Arandelières. La maison est très bien équipée, elle est spacieuse. Les deux terrasses sont très agréables, on peut choisir où s’installer en fonction des moments de la journée. Avec la chaleur la piscine est très appréciable, il manquerait juste de quoi rafraîchir la maison qui chauffe pas mal la journée malgré les volets fermés. La maison est idéalement située, au calme mais elle permet d’accéder facilement à tous les points d’intérêts aux alentours. Ce fut un plaisir de pouvoir se reposer dans cette jolie maison !

Beautiful house

The house was as described but better than expected. Lovely and clean with 2 relaxing pools. It is a spacious property with plenty of character, renovated and presented with style. Communication was very good. Uzes is a great place to visit and, although we were relaxing after a busy week in Paris, we went canoeing and also visited Avignon and Arles. All worth the effort. For us…coming from Scotland sleeping at night wasn't easy because of the heat and so we will likely look for a house with a/c next Summer. Thanks for a lovely time.

Schönes gutausgetattetes Ferienhaus

Wir haben 2 schöne Urlaubswochen in dem geschmackvoll eingerichteteten Ferienhaus verbracht. Zu 4 Personen hatten wir viel Platz. So hatte jedes Paar seinen eigenen Bereich, ohne sich gegenseitig zu stören. In der großzügigen u. gut ausgestatteten Wohnküche haben wir uns nach einigen anfänglichen Suchaktionen gut zurechtgefunden. Besonders genossen haben wir das tägliche Schwimmen dem 10m Pool. Die eigentlich ruhige Lage war ein wenig durch den Verkehr beeinträchtigt, der wegen einer Baustelle an unserem Grundstück vorbeigeleitet wurde. Die vorbeifahrenden Fahrzeuge haben teilweise auch viel Staub aufgewirbelt.

This house is owned by two couples who decide to join their « destiny » around this project ! My husband and I are engineers in our early 60s, while Sandrine and jean Benoit are respectively the sister and brother-in-law of Dominique and work in the telecoms industry.

Why they chose this property

We fell in love with Uzes and the surroundings. When we visited the house, there was a lot of work to do to make it look like you see it today ! But we saw the potential of the property, as well as the view on the « Montaigu » hill, the location so close to Uzes and the quietness of the village.

What makes this property unique

It’s clearly the combination of a mid 19th century authentic house in stones, and the comfort of the renovation that makes is unique. As well as : the two different « ambiances » one can feel : from the quiet, stone, « zen » pool facing the hill in the courtyard surrounded by flowers, to the large, deep and modern pool surrounding by a large terrace on the back side of the house.
