The Flat

Our villa in Marina di Ragusa is a holiday house. It is 50 metres away from the Mediterranean sea.
On the ground floor there is a flat of about 100 square metres, which has got three bedrooms (with four beds: two doubles and two singles), two bathrooms, a outdoor shower to remove the sand when it comes from the sea. It has got a spacious kitchen-living room with several big windows, that make the inside very bright and thought them you can see the sea. Outside there are three verandas on the sides, a fine view over the sea and a beautiful garden all around the house.

It is a new, well looked after flat, with air conditioning, situated in a qualified environment, which is rich in green, quiet, made up of other villas, well suited to seaside holidays. The garden and open spaces, enclosed by a wall, a private parking, accessible through private driveway, mean that guests can live in freedom, eat outside, dedicating themselves to reading, conversation, their hobbies.
In front of the house there are cliffs, where one can relax in the sun, dive and take a swim. There is a big sandy beach 400 metres away.

The DEPENDANCE

In our house we have on the ground floor a dependance very cheap.
This is a flat of about 130 square metres. It has got air conditioning, a bedroom with king size bed, two bathrooms with shower and a toilet, a washing machine, a private kitchen with a cooker and fridge, a spacious comfortable living-room of about 100 square metres, where there are a double sofa bed and twin beds.
The flat has got also a beautiful little garden, where it is possible to eat outside.
The dependance is available only in summer.
Maximum Capacity of Villa del Mare: 13/14 Guests.

Not far away from Marina there are the ruins of Kamarina, an ancient Greek town whose museum has an interesting collection of exhibits from the classical period, and the Byzantine centre of Kaucana (remains of an early Christian basilica).
Syracuse, Agrigento and Taormina, with their extraordinary Greek monuments, are respectively 95 km., 125 km. and 140 km. away. The Roman Villa at Piazza Armerina, with its grandiose mosaics and buildings, is 100 km. away.
Etna, the highest volcano in Europe, where excursions are possible, is 130 km. away.

through the Airport of Comiso, which is just 30 km away and is connected to Ragusa / Marina di Ragusa by bus.
