IT HAS BEEN REHABILITATED RESPECTING THE ORIGINAL MATERIALS AND TECHNIQUES AND IMPROVEMENTS HAVE BEEN INCORPORATED WITH THE CURRENT NEEDS (RADIANT FLOOR HEATING, WIFI) CONSERVING THE STRUCTURE AND ESSENCE OF THE HOUSE.
THE HOUSE IS ORGANIZED TOWARDS A CENTRAL GARDEN-GARDEN AND HAS 2 PLANTS. ON THE GROUND FLOOR THE COMMON AREAS ARE SITUATED: EQUIPPED KITCHEN, DINING ROOM, LIVING ROOM AND A TOILET. Wonderful home in Albaicin

This is a charming home with 16th century character in the heart of Albaicin. We loved the house and courtyard as we considered it our home for 4 weeks. Leonardo is a wonderful host who is very responsive and helpful.

Una hermosa casa y una buenisimo vacaciones!

The Morisco de la Luna is a really unique house with beautiful features and decoration. Leonardo was a very welcoming host and was attentive to our needs. He gave good recommendations of local shops and attractions. The house is well located for restaurants but was also quiet. It was great to wander around and get cakes and bread from the panaderos. We had a lovely meal at Reina Monica. Leonardo advised us how to get the Granada card which helped us get to see the Alhambra, which was a really once in a lifetime place. Gracias from Britain!

Gorgeous house, perfect location

What a beautiful house! Gorgeous 16th-century craftsmanship with modern upgrades and comforts. Quiet, peaceful, and very private. As for the location, we couldn't have chosen a better spot in the Albaycin. The house is just around the corner from Plaza Larga, and everything we needed was within a two-minute walk: daily produce market, seafood shop, supermarket, butcher shop, bakeries, pharmacy, restaurants, etc. It felt like a more local area, a little bit away from the tourist craziness. The kitchen of the house is well-equipped and a pleasure to cook in, the living areas are spacious, and the bedroom is comfortable. A minibus stop nearby makes it easy to get downtown (10 minutes) and even up the opposite hill to the Alhambra (15 minutes or so). Everything was convenient and felt like home. The check-in process was easy, and the hosts friendly and accommodating. One thing to note, if you stay in winter, is that the upstairs heating only works at night, not during the day (there are space heaters to compensate for this). The downstairs heating works both day and night and was quite comfortable. All in all, I'd love to stay again and would highly recommend this place!

Fabuloso

Junio 2016 La propiedad es fabulosa de cinco estrellas, hermosa, acogedora y con todo lo que el huésped necesita. La misma se entregó muy limpia, decorada con buen gusto. Está ubicada céntricamente, cerca de los museos, atracciones, restaurantes, colmados, del bus, metro. La cocina es preciosa con todos los utensilios, los cuartos muy bonitos, en resumen, una propiedad perfecta, que recomiendo sin reserva alguna. Leonardo y Eugenia son personas muy amables, serios, responsables y dispuestos ayudarle en lo que necesitan, estamos agradecidos por su hospitalidad. Gracias Asdrubal e Zenaida Domenech.

Charming Home

A beautiful home with lots of charm. It felt like a home. It has been updated and is very clean and well maintained. Leonard and his son Luis met us and were very nice and knowledgable about their town. We had lots of questions and they answered them with a smile. We used their garage and it was an easy walk from the home. It was a bit of a walk into the town square, but we did it several times. Lots of taxis if you prefer not to talk. They had milk, juice, fruit and muffins for us to enjoy. They were very quick to respond to inquires when we initially rented their home.

sehr authentisches Domizil in zentraler Lage

Sehr nettes Domizil, zum ersten Frühstück war Milch und Kuchen und ein großer Obstteller vorbereitet. Der Kaffee hat nicht geklappt, aber Tee war vorhanden! Die erste Nacht war sehr kalt (und leider nass- denn Granada hatte Regen!). Bett Nr. 5+6 sind in einem Durchgangszimmer, war für uns nicht schlimm, weil wir als Familie da waren. Das Haus war eine Augenweide, mit liebevoller Dekoration (alte Schränke, Tische, Gläser) und schöne Holz - und Fliesenarbeiten- richtig antike Schätzchen!!! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!! Sehr empfehlenswert. SJW This house was very beautifull with old (antik) furniture and lovely decorated with typical things from the region. The first night was very cold (and rainy!) but for the first breakfast there was milk, cake and a lot of fruits. The coffee machine doesn't work ( or I was not able to practice) but we have tea. The bed nr 5+6 was in a room between to others (the entrance room..) for us no problem, because we are a family. We have a very nice and plesant stay and Morisca House is very recommandable!! SJW

wonderfull stay

very nice house in a very nice spot in Granda. we had a wonderfull stay with lots of restaurants and bars in the old part of the city on the top. for shopping a nice 15 minute walk down back home a steep climp. in the part of the city where no cars are alowed. parking is possible. ckeck with the owner.

Nous avons passé trois nuits dans cette maison et avons été charmés, conquis ! en plein coeur de l'Albaicin, elle est très calme, fraîche, décorée avec soin et amour, et permet d'apprécier la magie de Grenade et du flamenco. nous reviendrons et recommandons cette adresse exceptionnelle aux familles, aux amoureux de l'authentique. Inoubliable. Petit plus : Leonardo est très accueillant, il nous a très bien reçus !

Séjour du 9 au 16 mai 2015

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette maison morisca authentique, très spacieuse très bien équipee, et en réalité encore plus belle que sur les photos du site. Nous avons subi pendant trois jours une vague de chaleur de plus de 40 degrés et avons apprécié la fraîcheur de la maison et de son patio où quelques sièges plus confortables seraient les bien venus. La maison est un plein cœur du magnifique quartier historique d' albayzin' a peine à quelques minutes a pied de plusieurs petites places typiques et pleines d' ambiance ( restaurants, commerces, bus, station de taxi) et du plus beau mirador sur l' alhambra. Leanardo a toujours été disponible et nous a donné de très bons conseils durant les semaines précédant notre arrivée. Contact très symphatique sur place. A recommander de toute évidence!

La casa morisca de la luna granada

Nous avons été conquis par le charme de la maison. Datant du 16ieme siècle, cette maison a gardé l'impreinte du passé, décorée par des stucs d'écriture arabe, un plafond en bois magnifique au 1er étage, et un patio ensoleillée, embaumé d'odeur de jasmin. A l'arrivée Leonardo nous a accueilli chaleureusement avec des fruits et des jus de fruits frais. Tout est fonctionnel dans la maison, et est bien situé, tout le quartier de l'albayzin peut se faire à pied. Nous remercions les propriétaires pour leur accueil et leur gentillesse et nous reviendrons y séjourner .

LO RECOMIENDO A TODOS

Mi mujer , mis tres hijas y yo hemos pasado un fin de semana fabuloso. Pensábamos que íbamos a disfrutar unos días con la magia y la belleza de Granada, pero además hemos disfrutado de una estancia de cinco estrellas en la Casa de la Luna. Recomiendo a todos este alojamiento por su historia, su belleza, su limpieza impecable, el barrio del Albaicin y, sobre todo, por el cariño que sus propietarios han puesto en mantener esta joya. Su nombre lo merece, porque en esta casa ha vivido la luna durante muchos años. Esperamos repetir pronto

Maison parfaite

Maison historique très belle, très bien entretenue par le propriétaire, et confortable. Tout est très propre. Excellent accueil du propriétaire. La maison se trouve dans l'ancien quartier arabe de Grenade, donc jolies ruelles historiques. C'est très calme et il suffit de tourner le coin de ruelle pour trouver tous les commerces. On accède également très rapidement au centre ville historique à pied (ça descend à l'aller, et ça grimpe au retour ! Mais le parcours est très agréable. Seul bémol, la cour qui est très froide en cette saison (fin octobre) bien que nous ayons eu 26°C en journée. Les rayons du soleil, bas en cette saison, ne pénètrent pas dans la cour. En été, en revanche, cela doit être appréciable. N'hésitez pas à louer cette maison !
