the Royal tennis is a former hotel built in 1860 and hosted famous tennis players (lacoste, Borotra, Suzanne lenglen)when they spent the summer in Etretat. The villa dominates Etretat.

Pour vos talents de conteuse d'histoires notamment sur le "Passé historique de ce joli petit village made in Normandie".Je n'ai pas eu trop de temps pour la lecture, météo au beau fixe oblige. Climat idéal pour se ressourcer.J'ai passé un super séjour, trop court cela va s'en dire.Logée dans une maison typique de la région dans un écrin de verdure. Quel panorama la vue de l'appartement sur la falaise et la mer ! Coucher de soleil en direct : magnifique !Mer belle et fraîche à souhait. Een erg goed onderkomen. Zeker ruim genoeg voor ons tweeën. Alles was er, aan serviesgoed, keukengerei en zelfs een kleine afwasmachine. Daarnaast een goede douche. Je hebt prachtig uitzicht op de ondergaande zon.Het enige was dat we even moesten zoeken naar de parking. Dit is dus een smal paadje rechts van het gebouw waar het bord "Residence Le Royal Tennis" hangt. Het bord is moeilijk te zien vanaf de straatkant. Wij waren er voorbij gereden en kwam in het centrum terecht.

I am sorry you didn't see the entrance to the park on the day of arrival ; there is a notice about 0.6 m long on the wall and we don't want to make it more evident because many cars would come & park here. Once you had found it, you were able to use our free parking in the garden all the week without any problem. And you spent a good holiday at the Royal Tennis, with beautiful views on the sunset.

L'appartement est un studio de 30m2 pour 2 personnes, les meubles d'époque Louis-Philippe sont assortis à l'âge de la bâtisse. Mais le confort est moderne , et la vue sur la falaise et la mer intemporelle !

Accueil sympathique. Isabelle nous a partagé anecdotes et connaissances sur Etretat, ce qui a enrichi nos excursions. L'appartement est agréable et bénéficie d'une belle vue sur les couchers de soleil. Nous avons passé une semaine sans prendre la voiture car au départ de l'appartement visites des lieux importants d'Etretat et ballades bucoliques sont réalisables à pieds.

Das WLAN funktionierte in der Woche vor und in der Woche nach Ihrem Aufenthalt; Die richtige Verbindung hängt von der Leistung des verwendeten Telefons ab. Die Matratze wurde im Jahr 2023 ausgetauscht und am 3. Juli kam ein neues Boxspringbett an. Ich freue mich, dass Sie die Aussicht und die schönen Spaziergänge genossen haben, sodass Sie kaum Zeit zum Fernsehen haben ...

Le matelas Bultex date de début 2023 ; un sommier neuf arrive le 03 juillet. Les fauteuils cabriolets (bien visibles sur les photos) sont parfaits pour la lecture, un jeu ou une boisson prise sur la petite table, mais c'est évident pas pour s'affaler. 3 logements du Royal Tennis sont occupés à l'année par 4 personnes en tout, aucune ne fume ; un ouvrier ou un visiteur de passage a dû laisser cette odeur momentanée. Désolée que le cadre de la villa, le parking gratuit sur place pour votre moto et sa remorque et les couchers de soleil somptueux n'aient pas plus retenus votre attention.

Allgemein zufrieden! Nah zur Stadtmitte und zur Promenade, Busstation (2 min)...Zimmer ist im OldStyle, alles ist da. Bett ist für zwei nicht so passend, da rollt man zur Mitte runter. Sonnst keine Beschwerden, außer Toilettenpapier (Ersatzrolle hat uns gefehlt), da die alte war schon fast alle. Also Empfehlenswert!!! Danke!

À la découverte d’Etretat

Nous avons passé 10 jours à Etretat dans un hébergement situé proche de la ville et de toutes ses découvertes : les falaises, les jardins, la maison d’Arsène Lupin, les commerces et restaurants, la mer et la plage. Nombreuses promenades à pied et visites de plusieurs villes pas très éloignées comme Le Havre, Honfleur, Fécamp, Dieppe,….

Il est vrai qu'en séjournant à Etretat il y a de nombreuses visites ou promenades à faire sur place . Mais on peut aussi découvrir d'autres merveilles de la côte normande à moins d'une heure.

Schöne, ruhige Oase mit guter Lage

Das Studio in einem schönen, alten Herrenhaus hat eine tolle Lage. Auf dem großen Anwesen kann man gut parken und in nur wenige Minuten ist man zu Fuß im trubeligen Ort. Ein Raum mit Bett, 2 Sesseln und einem Esstisch, eine gut ausgestattete, kleine Küche und aus der Dusche hat man Blick auf die Klippen :) Die Wohnung ist super sauber und die Einrichtung im Stil des Hauses ansprechend und schön. Bequemes Bett, das zum lange schlafen verleitet hat ;-) Ich habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt und würde jederzeit wieder kommen. Vielen Dank an Isabelle für das herzliche und warme Willkomen, die nette und amüsante Unterhaltung (Englisch) und die wertvollen Tips für die Umgebung.

Zum Wohlfühlen

Etretat - un lieu magique

Malgré la pluie fréquente on a été très à l'aise dans ce petit studio aimable sous le toit de cette villa charmante entourée d'un grand jardin avec vue sur la mer et les couchers de soleil, s'ils n'étaient pas couverts par les nuages. La cuisine et la salle de bain, sont minuscules, mais très efficaces, puisqu'il y a tout ce qu'il faut. Isabelle, une personne très aimable et savante, originaire d'Etretat, nous fournissait de tout et nous racontait - en francais et en anglais - des tas d'histoires et d'anecdotes sur le village, ses villas, ses habitants mondialement connus et sur l' histoire douloureuse pendant les deux guerres. Les nombreux livres dans le studio en témoignent. On a bien profité du parking privé et de la proximité de la plage - 10 minutes à pied - avec ses fameuses falaises et la merveilleuse vue panoramique. On est sûrs d'y revenir. Un grand merci à Isabelle.

Site splendide

Maison bien située à Étretat avec un parking privé. Parc fleuri et ombragé. La maison a du cachet. L’appartement est meublé avec goût mais est un peu “usé ». Cependant rien ne manquait. Excellent séjour.
