Bigger than expected
Cabin was perfect for our two day visit to the local National Park. The cabin was roomier than what the pictures on the website portrayed. Great location, very clean and the owner's attention to the small details made our stay at cabin 4 very pleasant.
We enjoyed the little cabin in the woods while we explored Lassen National Park. It was cozy, comfy, and peaceful. It was relaxing and a nice break from the business of the world. Ray went out of his way and was very helpful in getting our AC set up when we arrived.
We enjoyed our time here, close to the national park, but did not know how to contact our hosts easily, and were not sure if there were bins for recycling. We were grateful for the WiFi because our cell phones did not work reliably here or in Lassen. Terri and Howard

Relaxing Cabin In The Woods
This is a very nice relaxing cabin in the shaded woods. Easily accessible and green lawn areas around the cabin. Very quiet surroundings and cozy. This is located near the north side entrance to Lassen Park and just 2 miles from Shingletown (a very small community). Shingletown has few amenities but there is a cafe/grill located within a grocery store that serves very good breakfasts, lunches, or dinners. The people in the community are gracious and extremely nice. The WIFI is intermittent however, but you have to be patient with it. The cabin we rented was clean and well decorated. There is a small refrigerator, sink and microwave. There is a park quality BBQ grill outside to grill food but bring charcoal.
Overall, it was a very good, clean intimate cabin that was shaded by tall trees and a mowed green yard. Excellent for couples or for a family seeking room for their children to roam and play.

We are Happy you enjoyed our little cabin in the woods. Thank you for the nice review. Addressing the WiFi, We are in a very Rural Mountain area. We do have the Best internet provided by the only carrier available in Shingletown. At times it may be spotty or slow, however it is beyond our control. Thank you for staying at Grace Lake Resort!

We always recommend guests view pictures and read what is included in our cabins on the VRBO listing. We have posted pictures of that cabin and it shows the bathroom and shower size. Our Amenities posted, do Not have a TV listed. You had sent an email to us stating that the cabin was great, but you were going to leave a day or possibly 2 days early. You said you would advise us further, but never got back in touch with us. We always want all of our guests to have a great experience at our place.
This was a great little cabin nearby Lassen Volcanic National Park. It had everything we needed (kitchen appliances/dishes, wifi, and a clean, beautiful bathroom! Parking was convenient (right outside the cabin). Teresa and Ray were easy to communicate with via the message board. Highly recommended for a place to stay when visiting Lassen Volcanic.
This property was very clean and properly equipped for our stay.
Now I think the bed was a little uncomfortable but not enough for me to rate differently. I wanted also noted that the wifi worked great for us and was not spotty as in other reviews stated ...it worked well for us. Communication with manager was really fast . This site was very peaceful.
Nice cabin for our short but pleasant stay. Great price for a comfortable, clean and rustic place. The water pressure was a little sad but would not prevent us from recommending or staying again. We will be back.

We are surprised to hear your negative remarks. We are Sorry we did not meet your expectations. It is clearly stated on our listing we provide a microwave, coffee maker, toaster, crock pot and under counter fridge. We also have a charcoal BBQ outside. You asked if you could get an electric burner, pot & pan to cook on. We accommodated you with that request. You are the first guest to say anything about low water pressure? You stayed 3 nights with us and I wish you would have said something, the issue could have been resolved during your stay. We are glad you thought we have a great location near Mt Lassen.

Comfortable cabin, great location
A relaxing stay overall: we had a studio cabin with a queen bed. The room was comfortable, spacious and well-equipped. Property is pretty, and the owner has some chickens out back. Some minor highway noise (not a lot of traffic at night) and off-property dogs barked all night. Good location about 15 minutes drive to Lassen National Park and just a mile back to town for dinner/groceries.

Great clean place
very nice clean place. We spent a couple of nights there recently. Quiet, mostly secluded setting. Enjoyed sitting outside in the tall trees, enjoying wine from nearby wineries, close enough to Lassen Park.
