This unique beautiful property sleeping up to 7 , the lounge featuring lovely furniture very comfortable sofas and smart TV also has antique furniture throughout. The house is in walking distance to Castle Cary famous for preserving its ancient heart, its just 1 mile and Train Station 2 miles, Flax Mill House was built for the workers of John Boyd a Textile Merchant in Castle Cary the house is full of character and charm with original pine floorboards , carpet in places and flagstone floor you will also find some Victorian antique furniture. House has flat screen TV in all four bedrooms , one full bathroom and one bedroom situated in attic with very tight curled staircase ( need to be fit to access this room not recommended for elderly or young children ) this has en-suite toilet small sink. Main bedroom with en-suite shower room with toilet and sink. One Single Bedroom, also one double bedroom next to bathroom. Most original details remain Front door and fireplaces stripped pine floor and carpet, also a log burner in basement. Large lounge kitchen is full and all you will need during your stay, and dining table all in one, and back door leading to small decking area to enjoy a glass of wine to end the day, this is on a private road to park your car space in front of my garage. This charming Ham stone-built Town is a quiet and attractive place to visit, it has a wealth of small boutiques and delicatessens and reminders of Medieval past, with many local walks. Close to Bruton too.
This property includes linen with towels at extra cost £10 per person not per bed payment to made direct to me owner, and a Breakage Deposit is required and returned after holiday this is taken on booking by owners direct.

Lovely Family home and quirky building with parking on private road to rear and easy distance to Castle Cary and train station also easy for business travellers as easy to get to Bath and West Showground and Yeovil Bath and surrounding towns but enjoy the tranquality life what offers in a countryside property. This property is situated on a road at the front of the house and is in walking distance to castle Cary railway station.
Also easy to travel to Bruton and Stonehendge easy acess to all the local attractions like Longleat and Rhode Gardens, Somerset is steeped in history so plenty to explore.
Easy to realx in the evening and wind down with a glass of wine on the small decking area right outside the back door.
Great to walk into town and have a meal and a drink plent of resturaunts to choose from , or just to get some local fish and chips,
