About the host
Hosted by Stephanie Gahan

I grew up in Dublin and after my studies and traveI I settled in County Clare to raise my children and now enjoy wonderful grandchildren. I have a passion for adventure and often spend winter away staying as a guest in small selfcatering apartments, so naturally I have a good idea of what makes Druid cottage comfortable for my guests! I love hiking along coastal and hillside paths....As Albert Einstein said, "Look into nature and you will understand everything."
Why they chose this property
East Clare is a beautiful area with rolling hills, lakes, small farms and many creative and artistic people.
The cottage is located between two small villages and not far from the main towns of Ennis, Gort and Scariff. The cities of Limerick and Galway are within an hours drive and every turn of the road shows different scenery especially when you head west to the wild Atlantic where I also love to walk the coastal pathways.

What makes this property unique
The stone cottage is the original pre Irish famine family home lovingly renovated to todays requirments. Its small with a spacious uncluttered feel and the new cosy mezzanine is where families would have all slept years ago.
Perfect for sightseeing, quiet fishing, a three day quiet retreat or equally suitable for longer stays as we have high speed internet for remote workers.
