Ask a questionAbout Stephanie Gahan
I was born and raised in Dublin, later after some study and travel I settled in Co.Clare where I raised my children and now have adorable grandchildren. I love adventure and presently staying as much time as possible in France, where like in Ireland I love to hike coastal paths and hillsides, gathering inspiration for my soul and designs. "Look into nature and you will understand everything" Albert Einstein
Stephanie Gahan purchased this Cottage in 1991
Why Stephanie Gahan chose County Clare
I enjoy renovating this 300year old property which although situated on a quiet rural hillside in East Clare, it is a fantastic hub for Shannon airport, Galway city and countyside, the amazing 'Wild Atlantic way,' the Burren national park, Aran Islands, Cliffs of Moher, Castles, Megalithic sites and much more. The area is peaceful and the cottage is welcome return to after being out and about exploring the landscape or visiting the nearby towns and cities and all that te Mid west has to offer.
What makes this Cottage unique
I love this area with it's friendly quiet farming, artistic and healing neighbours, clean air, nature, good food, space, calmness, small roads and country walks. Also a hub to all that the Mid west has on offer!
