About this property

Villa in Provence cote d'azur with private swimming pool & breathtaking views

Spacious ground floor of villa in Provence verte, set in the beautiful "Vallee du Gapeau", views onto the hills and the valley from the property are amazing, this is a very relaxing place, there are many walks, horse riding and cycling rides all around the property in the beautiful mountains facing the villa and in near by land. The world famous race track´Circuit paul Ricard ´ is less than 30 minutes away and hosts many races all year long. During spring and summer, guests can enjoy the private swimming pool, private terrasse to dine 'al fresco', and can have the best of both worlds since we are 40 mn away from the white sandy beaches of Hyeres or visit the picturesque villages of the Provence verte. Discover the local food specialties such as 'pissaladiere' and there are a lot of organics farms all around for your fruits and vegetables shopping as well local markets in the villages near by. Many arts exhibitions and 'Brocantes' are taking place during the spring and summer season. Good restaurants are near by as well. Horse rinding ranches,wind surf competitions, trout fishing and many more activities will delight you during your stay. I will be able to give you all informations about the various site seeing etc..
Please note that there is a deposit of 250 euros and 50 euros for cleaning to leave me in cash on arrival. the deposit will be refunded providing the property is not damaged .

Beautiful property, kind host, stunning views and wonderful pool!

We stayed at this property as a family with young kids while on vacation. Although it was a little hard to find at first we were greeted warmly by our host Christine. She was very kind, thoughtful and attentive to all needs. We loved the large pool and the views of the hills are beautiful. The unit was clean, spacious and safe. I highly recommend this place for anyone, but especially for adults seeking a quiet location and for kids who love swimming! If you want a great and authentic experience in the French countryside then this is the perfect spot!

Magical

The location was like a small piece of heaven, relaxing with superb scenery. Everything you possibly would need was available, iron, hair dryer etc. The pool was absolutely fantastic and just what you needed with the beautiful hot weather. The hostess Christine was so helpful, nothing was to much trouble. Always there if we needed anything. I cannot wait to visit again certainly didn't want to come home! Nous avons passé 10 jours très agréables avec mon compagnon et ses enfants. La piscine a vu sur les montagnes et est totalement privative. Le lieu et très calme et la vue sur les étoiles le soir magnifique. Ne pas avoir peur de faire de la voiture pour visiter Porquerolles, Hyères, Toulon et les calanques.

We had a wonderful time at Christine’s house. The location is absolutely stunning and our accommodation was just perfect for us. The pool was perfect and the cleanliness of the property was superb. Christine was helpful in recommending interesting places to visit and was always on hand to answer any of our concerns. We will be visiting again.

Lovely accomodation

Have just spent a fabulous week at this property. It's spacious, well equipped, clean and has a fantastic pool. The photos don't do it justice. A lovely welcome pack was provided inc wine, jam, orange juice and biscuits. Tea and coffee. Christine, the host was very helpful, arranging taxis for us on two days to a wedding venue close by, also loaning us an outside electric grill to cook on, which we appreciated as bbq not allowed. If there would be a slight critisism an oven instead of microwave would be useful, but the electric outside grill suited us fine. Thanks once again Christine we had a great time.

I am from this region , but lived for the past 25 years in London where I was working for music venues as a communication manager. I wanted to leave the city life for a more natural environment , I am now certified Reflexologist from the London school of reflexology and treatments are available for guests at a preferential price. I am also available during your stay for any queries you might have about the region.

Why they chose this property

The flat is very spacious, on the ground floor and has a very calm vibe, the views onto the green mountains are really beautiful and provide a very natural environment to relax with your family and / or friends. The swimming pool is also very enjoyable , with sun loungers, parasol and is secluded from the neighbors. The flat is also very sunny and light . All beddings is provided , the flat has two large bedrooms , one with a king size bed and the second with à regular size bed. appliances are brand new. Set 2 minutes drive outside the village of Meounes les Montrieux , La Capeliere Domaine is indicated when you get into the village, turn in the street at the back of the church and follow instructions from there. There is a gate at the entrance but with a space on the right side for cars to go Through. I will provide guest with a remote control to operate the gate once they arrive at the property.

What makes this property unique

The region offers the best of both aspects of the Côte d'Azur with hills , green valley and picturesque Provence villages, Water falls , rivers , lots of walking tracks and also the sea side activity only 40 minutes away. The sea harbor of Hyeres offers plenty of bars and cafes for night life . The boat to go onto the wild island of Porquerolles is only 45 min away and this can be a fantastic day out for everyone. The very long beach of L’almanarre is also situated near the Hyeres harbor and a great place for a day out by the sea.
