Perfect Island cottage only a block & 1/2 from the beach! Central location near shopping, Crab Trap, Crab Daddy's, and Fiddlers Restaurants. This home has something for everyone offering a living room, reading area, eat-in kitchen, outdoor patio with large fan and Tesla charger, and private outdoor shower. You may even bring the family pet! Pet allowed with a $250 nonrefundable pet fee.

quiet neighborhood & a block from the beach.

Perfect little home in a great location. We lived comfortably there for a week and if we go back that would be the place we would stay again.

Fantastic home in great location.

This house is located perfectly, about 200 yards to the beach and one mile walk into town. The house is very charming and in a great neighborhood. We would highly recommend this property.

Early summer getaway!

We went down for a quick visit with our boys - it was just what we needed in a great location. The house was clean with all the amenities we needed. It was easy to access the beach, stores and restaurants. We will certainly visit again! Great space for all of us!

Wonderful Beach Cottage

I booked this cottage for my adult children while visiting during Christmas. The cottage was perfect for their introduction to SSI. Clean, well decorated and located centrally this cottage was the perfect property management company was efficient and the management company was great

We felt like family friends in this welcoming cottage.

Simply put, we liked everything about our stay at the Sunny Showers Beach Cottage. It immediately felt as if we were in our own home - that's how cozy, tasteful and comfortable it was. The kitchen was well equipped and the bedrooms were very comfortable. All the appliances were new and worked perfectly. Great neighborhood - the location was excellent too - close to the beaches and the town center. The outdoor shower was the best! We would definitely stay here again. Many thanks to the owners for giving us the opportunity to experience their charming home.

Nice cottage in Saint Simons

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We booked at the last minute and were fortunate this house was available. It’s so convenient to the beach. It’s a 5 minute walk to Crab Daddy’s and a brewery, and a 20 minute walk to the village. The house was clean, although the house cleaners didn’t leave a trash bag in the kitchen trash can. The furniture was in relatively good shape. The queen size bed was pretty soft, and the pillows could be replaced with new ones. Our party was 2 couples and that felt like a good size for the house based on the amount of living room furniture. Management company was professional and easy to work with. We had a great weekend!

Perfect Place for a Birthday Getaway on SSI!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were looking for a home with character that was dog-friendly and walkable to restaurants and the beach, and this was the ideal spot! We loved the space and decor. We found all the things we needed to hang at home, though with easy access to dining, we didn’t cook that often. We were here to celebrate a birthday so we enjoyed cocktails at home before walking over to the great dining options minutes away! The side yard was perfect and if the weather had been better, I think we would have spent much more time outside. With two dogs with us, we appreciated the fenced back yard. It was just enough space for light exercise and potty breaks, and the park across the street and nearby beach allowed for more room to romp and play. Our son loved the bunk beds, and wanted to change beds every night to test them all! So much fun! We appreciated having the ability to walk to Crab Daddies and Fiddler’s, and even a little longer walk down to the pier area. We LOVE St. Simons and would definitely return to this house!

Cozy, comfortable in a great location

The cottage was perfect for all our needs! The common space was warm and inviting with comfortable seating that was ideal for our family getaway. And, don’t miss the outdoor shower…take it once and you’ll head home trying to figure out how to add one to your place. Also, the location, in a charming neighborhood was wonderful for morning strolls and evening walks. And, the wonderful kicker for us was the homes close proximity to the beach, dining options and island shopping. Can’t wait to go back, and also to tell all of our Midwestern friends about The Gem that is St Simons Island!!!

Clean and great location

We had a great stay at Sunny Showers! The property was so clean and well stocked with everything we needed, including some plastic beach toys for our kids. The location is great - about a 3 minute walk to the beach (recommend having a wagon to tote everything). We were also able to walk to restaurants down beach drive (about 10 minutes with kids). The outdoor shower was definitely amazing when coming back from the beach. Our kids got a real kick out of it! Best place we ate was Fiddlers!

Adorable cottage and great location!

The cottage was comfortable, clean and well furnished. The neighborhood was quiet and quaint with cute cottages all around. It was conveniently location to the beach and the pier village. I highly recommend this property and hope to stay there again on my next visit to St. Simons Island.
