A home not a simple holiday rental
What a find! Daniela's house is a real home with actual furniture, with books on the shelves, and pictures on the wall. It is a spacious home set in a gated community among pine trees a few meters by the sea. The house grounds are also large, with two shaded areas for dining, one a portico at the front of the house, and the other a detached gazebo. There is a wonderful outdoor fireplace that can be used for barbecue. The trees on the ground are tall pines that must be a century old. The private beach of the community was not having a good year when we visited, but there are at least 5 fantastic beaches within 15 minutes by car.
I could not reccomend this place more. Also--unlike professionally managed properties in Sardinia--Daniela is a host that treats her guests with respect and common sense. For instance, you will not incur odd hidden fees for linens and towels (!) or steep penalties for inevitably leaving behind some trash as it is far too common to happen in other sardinian rentals.
I especially recommend the place for families, as kids will have plenty of space to play and the surrounding beaches are sandy and gently sloped.
