Rental Licence Number: 38693/AL - Casa Amizade (Villa 10A) is a beautiful, refurbished two bedroom air conditioned villa, nestling on the hillside of Quinta da Saudade, reputed to be the longest established private estate of its kind on the Algarve. The estate is truly unique, extending to some 24 acres and enjoying unspoiled, uninterrupted countryside views of the nearby wetlands nature reserve and across to the sea and nearby town of Armação de Pêra.

Built in the traditional Portuguese style and refurbished to an exceptionally high standard with a new kitchen installed in January 2024. The modern, yet homely villa comprises two good sized air conditioned bedrooms one with king size bed and one with two singles, a modern, well equipped and stylish bathroom and kitchen and a spacious, well appointed and air conditioned living room, complete with log burner*. The villa comes with maid service three times a week. A baby’s cot and high chair can be rented from the Quinta office.

Large patio doors open out onto a secure, private balcony with amazing views and equally amazing sunsets, equipped with stone BBQ , terracotta tiled canopy and enjoying stunning views across the surrounding countryside. The villa also has a large roof terrace with sun beds, table and chairs, and again, the roof terrace enjoys panoramic views to both sides. Beneath the balcony is a laundry room with washing machine, iron and ironing board for use by the maids and guests alike.

The villa also has free WiFi and a Smart, HD flat screen TV with Dolby sound and 4 x HDMI inputs should you wish to bring your own TV Fire stick. The TV is also pre-loaded with numerous apps including Netflix and Amazon Prime which may be accessed via your own account.

With 24 privately owned semi detached villas located across the hillside of the estate, the facilities enjoyed, include beautifully tended gardens with orange, lemon, almond, fig, carob and pomegranate trees, two swimming pools plus a paddling pool, child’s grassed play ground, tennis court, table tennis, boules, mini golf and horse riding stables. Also on the Quinta there is an excellent restaurant, which is rated number one on trip advisor for the area.

The estate lies a little over a kilometre or so from the beautiful beaches of Gale and Salgados, Salgados Golf course and numerous restaurants and local sight. It lies about 15 minutes west of Albufeira and around 40 minutes drive from Faro airport.
