Surf Retreat Ocean Front Estate is a 7400 sq/ft luxury home. This newly completed home has 9 bedrooms, two full kitchens, and 7 full bathrooms. This home was build for entertaining with a large gourmet kitchen that seats 17 people, large living areas, king sized en-suite bedrooms and endless entertainment options at every turn.
The home has a theater room, pool table, shuffle board, poker table, ping-pong, darts and multiple gathering spaces.
We know the inside amenities will impress but the most amazing thing about the home is its prime Ocean front location. Literally steps to the sand on a flat lot that is fully accessible. Come enjoy Surf Retreat with your friends and family or corporate retreat.

The house is beyond beautiful. It's huge! Being right on the beach was wonderful. There were only minor issues - theater room didn't have the projector working, a couple of the showers were draining well, but again - this was minor. Our overall experience was wonderful and we would highly recommend this house to anyone.

The space allowed us to all be under one roof for our small family reunion. Being able to sit around a dinner table together helped make it a special gathering. The Location on the beach was great. The kitchen was well stocked. Part of the attraction was that we had two people that needed help getting into the house. Having a ramp and an elevator was an attraction. The extra high beds were challenging for those two people. We borrowed two wheelchairs for the beach in Pacific city. Really added to the fun. The view was a daily delight. Overall everyone enjoyed their stay.

The house is beautiful with an awesome view, patio and beach access. The main kitchen is well stocked and labeled.However, the communication was terrible, and we did not get access to the house until5:20pm. This was after I sent an email at 1:00pm stating I hadn't received the house code information. I had also left a voice mail and text message at the 4:30 check in time. A representative of VRBO also tried to contact the property management office and didn't receive an answer. With how stringent they are with check out time of 10am, with housekeeping chores being done, it was aggravating.The main kitchen refrigerator wasn't working and alarmed the whole time we were there. Reading reviews of a malfunctioning refrigerator from July 2025 it was disappointing that it wasn't delt with. One room has the blind tied off to an end table and couldn't be closed. The listing reads as bathrooms attached to the bedrooms, only three of the nine rooms have attached bathrooms.

Hello-We are pleased to hear you enjoyed the views, easy beach access and well equipped kitchen. This property is truly a special place with its close proximity to the sandy beach. The kitchen fridge was replaced in 2026 at over 14k. This new fridge had a coolant leak (under warranty) and we were waiting for the approved warranty repair person. This is now fixed. This repair was why we added a third (not including broken one) full sized fridge in laundry room, (which is about 10ft from kitchen). The home currently has three full sized fridges and three beverage fridges. We also have 3 dish washers, 3 ovens and 6 washer/dryers. We understand appliances break…even new ones :( and are always so sorry when this happens and are quick as possible to get repairs. We are available 24/7. We talked to members of this group who then found the email we sent with access. I do not know if it was this reviewer but they were in the property on time at 4:30pm and check out is 10:30am. The layout of the large house has either attached bathrooms or bathrooms directly outside the door. Sorry if this was unclear. Thank you again for staying with us! We welcome you back with a repeat guest discount.

This was such a wonderful getaway location and we were lucky enough to also have beautiful weather! From the time we walked in the front door to the time we left, everything was perfect. Beautiful, spacious home on the beach

This house was perfect for my company's work retreat! It had enough bedrooms and large beds for all 10 of us, had more space, games, and household items than expected, and has an astounding view of the ocean. I could hear it from my oceanfront room with the doors and windows closed! Check-in and checkout instructions were thorough and easy to follow, and the owner was very kind, responsive, and helpful.

Fun on the Ocean beach.

This was a definitely a luxury home. It is right on the Ocean beach. We walked frequently to see the sun rise and set as well as experience the high and low tide.

This is the 2nd time we have rented this beautiful home. It is perfect for our work family. Large, well equipped kitchen to cook in, amazing outdoor area and views. Great house and location made it feel like you were on a semi-secluded beach, house is so big we kept getting lost and turned around in it. Property manager was kind of rude otherwise we all had a great time celebrating 50years of marriage with all our kids, grandchildren and great-grandchildren

Fantastic home and location! Just look at the pictures and you'll see. Some of the technology could be replaced like the tvs and all their associated components are a little antiquated. The back slider is a workout to open (ocean wear and tear). We couldn't get one of the fireplaces to work, but it was in a bedroom not the main living area, and the hot tub cover should probably be replaced. All small things compared to what an amazing home it is. We'll be back next year.

We found this beautiful house perfect for our three generation family vacation. It had everything we needed and then some! Being able to watch the children on the beach from the comfort of our private patio was a big plus! One of our family member uses a wheelchair and we appreciated the accessibility both in the use of the elevator , an accessible suit and the outside patio! We will be back!

Family Reunion

This is a wonderful property and the views of the ocean were amazing! The check in time is not what VRBO advertises (we got in at 5:00 vs 4:00) and the list of rules comes across as unfriendly. We understand that this is a magnificent home and they don't want any damage. That being said, everything else was perfect!

They regulate the maximum occupancy and parking limits. These rules are strictly enforced. We apologize this seems unfriendly but we are required to adhere to this ordinance. Check in time is 4:30, which may be altered to 5pm on back-to- back reservations (this is on the VRBO listing) The home is very large and we have high standards of cleaning so it takes time to get it ready for guest arrivals. A great indulgent stay

The listing lived up to its pictures and description with two added pleasant surprises. The beach was extensive during our stay and the house construction was solid, so noise in other rooms was not an issue. The ream of documents and warnings received just before check-in was off putting but the place, itself, was great with just a few small issues, like sand was in the hot tub when we arrived and we were told we’d be fined if we got sand in it. But this place is highly recommended. The home was well appointed and the warren of rooms was a delight to explore. The entertainment and game room areas were heaven for kids and adults, alike. Recommended.

Absolutely Stunning - RECOMMEND!

The location of this property alone would be enough for 5 stars, RIGHT ON THE BEACH, but that's not all. I had the pleasure of staying at this property for 4 days at my companies annual sales meeting, hosting approximately 25-30 agents at one time. It was very well maintained, extremely clean, and thoroughly stocked with the many necessary items needed to make this meeting and the stay as comfortable and convenient as possible. The kitchen was adequately stocked with all of the dishes/supplies we could have possibly needed for the large group we had. The Main large Living room is where we held the meetings on all 4 days, and it was more than enough space for the 25-30 agents and our the large projector we brought. I would love to come back to this property again with large group of friends or family to be able to enjoy all of the amenities this property has to offer.

Our maximum occupancy at all times is 20 (including all children) and we have parking for a maximum of 10 cars. The occupancy and parking limits are enforced by the local county codes. The house and location were absolutely beautiful, and the home was well-equipped with everything you could possibly need. My family and I enjoyed our stay immensely. However, there were some issues. VRBO has a different check-in and check-out time than what was on the contract sent the day before we took possession of the property. It might seem small, but that took two hours away from us. There was also a power outage that lasted eight hours which we found out was scheduled. I understand that the power outage couldn't be helped, but it would have been nice to have a heads-up so we could have planned our day around it. When you have 20 people and you are told not to use the toilet it definitely presents a problem. Also, multiple outlets did not work and the hot water heater kept needing to be reset mid shower. The mini refrigerator upstairs also was broken. Even with the multiple issues we still had a great time and loved the house. Here is a list of the broken outlets: bathroom #5, bathroom on the main floor off of the kitchen, kitchen island, kitchen outlets to the left of the skink.

This property is truly the finest home we have ever seen on the Oregon coast. We have looked for a long time to find the perfect fit for a new ocean front home and this home was beyond our expectations. We think our guests will be amazed by the amenities and luxuries of this ocean front estate.
