Just 9 km from the town of Sicamous, this vacation retreat at Mara Lake is a perfect spot for family vacations - to relax and enjoy the lake. This property has a large backyard with an 8 person hot tub, firepit and fruit trees, There are many areas on the property to sit and relax. Choose your relaxation spot, on a stone patio complete with pergola and hot tub in the backyard or on one of two decks in the front.
The property is across from the boat launch and sandy beach on Mara Lake.
There are many activities close by: Hyde Mountain Golf Course, Hiking, Drive-In Movie Theatre at Enderby, Wineries, Quad Trails and Mini Golf.
The property will sleep 10 people comfortably. It has 3 bedrooms plus a great room., 2 full bathrooms, newly renovated laundry room, dishwasher. Sheets, laundry soap, kitchen supplies, cleaning supplies and spices are all provided.
There are 2 bedrooms on the main floor and 1 bedroom upstairs as well as a great room which has a daybed and futon for those extra visitors.

Alison grew up in England and Brad grew up in Edmonton but vacationed in this region for many years as a small boy. We currently live in Calgary and our three children live close by. We had vacationed in this area numerous times and our dream was to own a vacation property near Mara Lake. This property was perfect for us because it is large enough for large family gatherings, very close to the beach and Mara Lake.
Why they chose this property
We discovered this property in the fall of 2008 and saw a potential for making it into a great vacation home. We have spent many hours renovating and painting to make it feel like home.
What makes this property unique
This property is perfect for a large family or extended family because it has many different sitting/ visiting areas of the house to find your own space and yet all be together. The backyard is huge and beautiful to relax in and we are just steps from the beautiful Mara Lake and sandy beach.
