Beautiful farmhouse recently renovated, amazing views, swimming pool, heatable jacuzzy,air conditioning. The property is divided into 2 private houses which accomodate up to 8 guests.Perfect for couples,families or larger groups holidaying together. Each house has its own outdoor space with beautiful views,equipped for alfresco dining. The perfect place to enjoy an authentic tuscan holiday, great base for exploring Tuscany. Volterra is just 1.5 km. far from the property, less than 5 minutes by car. The cities of Florence, Siena, Pisa and Lucca are all within easy reach of the house as are many wonderful Tuscan towns and villages.

Volterra villa vacation

We loved our stay, especially the pool, and the ability to sit and take in the special view on the upper deck. Antonio was a great host, nothing was any trouble. Close to Volterra for groceries and restaurants.

Volterra, our favorite Tuscan city!

We loved our host, the property and the short trips to several cities in Tuscany. I can not say how great our host were, amazing is more like it. The houses, pool and hot tub were just what we needed. And morning coffee on the terrace-Wow! We will be back. Lisa and the family.

Amazing stay in Volterra! Our host Antonio was wonderful! He helped us get some delicious pizza dinners delivered which was so nice. And we can’t say enough about the beautiful grounds and stunning view! We all enjoyed the gorgeous pool as it was always so cool and refreshing. Tuscany does not disappoint! Our family of five also took easy day trips to Lucca, Viareggio, and San Gimignano. Thank you so very much! We highly recommend this incredible farm house.

Rustic Getaway

Sara and Antonio were fantastic hosts and made us feel very welcome. The upper house has a fantastic terrace that is great for dinner or evening stargazing and the pool area is lovely. The lower house is a bit more rustic, but still comfortable and true to the region. The driveway takes a few trips to get comfortable with.

Relaxing with Family in Paradise

We spent a week at Sarah and Antonio's two villas with our four adult children (25-30). We loved the slower pace and less crowds in Volterra. Restaurants, meal organized by Sara and pizza cooking in the adjacent pizza oven are all excellent options. We biked to a local winery, relaxed by the pool, played cards with our children on the large patio and saw several falling stars. View of valley below is spectacular in both day and night. Villas are will equipped nd we did several meals at the property and found local shopping easy. Finally, you will have trouble finding a more communicative and positive host.

Wonderful and quiet place with beautiful surroundings

We stayed at Sara‘s wonderful place in the two houses with 2 families with 4 kids between 3 and 6 years old. We really enjoyed our stay. Sara was a very cordial and helpful host who was available all the time and helped out immediataly when we had questions or needed assistance (eg. with ordering Pizza :-)). For us it was great to have her directly next to the property. She was very polite and replied very fast to our messages. We especially appreciated the lovely set-up with all the plants and details. The view is awesome and the pool was great and cleaned up immediately when needed. The way down to the property is a bit steep but the way is definitively worth it! Thank you Sara for your hospitality! We might see us again ;-).

Fantastisch

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit in diesem außergewöhnlichen Hausensemble, das allerhöchsten Ansprüchen leicht genügt. Die Umgebung toll, der Pool groß und täglich sehr gepflegt, die Vermieter sympathisch und im Hintergrund, bei Fragen aber immer sofort erreichbar und sehr behilflich. Besser geht es nicht. Amazing relaxing beautiful place!

My husband and I stayed for 5 nights with our three kids, aged 19-24. It was a relaxing and beautiful stay! Sara is incredibly sweet and helpful, and provided us with a catered dinner on our first night when we arrived quite tired, great info about the area and restaurant recommendations in Volterra. The walk up to the town is on back roads and very pleasant. Woke up to a beautiful sunrise every morning, and enjoyed coffee on the terrace for each one. The only problem was that we could not stay longer! Loved it!!

Beautiful, central, comfortable and fun with a great host

The property is absolutely stunning and located incredibly close to Volterra town centre. The swimming pool was great and the two separate houses, sleeping four each suited us perfectly. Sara was an amazing host, incredibly attentive and helpful arranging an amazing meal for us all at the property overlooking the Tuscan hills. All in all we can't fault it, we all loved our time here and the kids are already missing the pool greatly.

The perfect escape

From my initial enquires to the our day of departure Sara and her family could not have been more welcoming and accommodating. Prior to our arrival Sara proved simple links to the property location and supermarkets to pick up groceries on our way in. After our warm afternoon welcome and tour of the beautiful property, we settled in and agreed a time for her to serve our evening meal that we had agreed for her to cater for us prior to our arrival. What a perfect introduction to the property and the local cuisine Sara, her mum and delightful Camilla cooked & beautifully presented to us all. On chatting to Sara we also discovered that her mum owns a cafe and bakery in Volterra, oh my days what cakes!!!!! It’s a must for any visit to this ancient and wonderful town. There is so much to discover in Volterra. It truly is a gem of Tuscany and lucky for us not as hectic as many of the other destinations, a must for all when visiting the area. Back to the villas, they are very well appointed with everything a holiday making needs to make it a true home in the sun. Wonderful pool, great terraces for family dining, jacuzzi, sun-loungers and plenty of shaded areas too for relaxing. Sara has really thought of everything, including badminton, table tennis, darts sand pit and toys for the little one as well as pool loungers and balls for the big kids! All in all I can’t recommend this property highly enough. Ps. A car is a must, as the road to the property is very steep and winding and possibly to precarious negotiate drive in the dark of night.

Die perfekte Unterkunft für Freunde

Wir hatten eine wundschöne Zeit in der Toskana. Das lag vor allem an der super Unterkunft. Die Anlage und vor allem der Ausblick ist noch besser als auf den Bilder im Internet. Es ist für alles gesorgt. Wir waren sechs Freunde und haben uns morgens und Abends immer auf der großen Terrasse zum Frühstück und Abendessen getroffen. Abends haben wir immer mit der Feuerschale ein schönes Feuer gemacht. Vielen lieben Dank für dies super Gastfreundlichkeit und die tolle Unterkunft. Die sechs Freunde aus Nürnberg. Wir werden wieder kommen.

Fantastic stay in Volterra! Sara and her family were great, providing a beautiful house and location along with very attentive service. Convienient to Volterra, but also feeling remote and away from it all, my whole family loved our time at the house.
