This beautiful cabin overlooks Boot Lake. The huge picture windows and walk out basement provide an amazing view from anywhere in the cabin. The cabin is surrounded by beautiful woods.
Spend the day on the lake fishing in the row boat or exploring on the paddle boat.

While you`ll want to spend most of your time in the great outdoors, the living room will be a perfect escape on rainy days. Spread out on the large leather couches and chairs while you search the flat-screen with Direct TV for a movie you can all agree on.

When stomachs begin to growl, step into the kitchen to make a home-cooked meal fit for a crowd. It`s fully equipped with granite counters, a gas stove, an oven, and dozens of other appliances so you won`t have to venture far for a five-star dinner.

For the BBQ masters, head out onto the deck to utilize the gas grill. The patio furniture on the deck is a great spot to enjoy a wonderful cookout and unbeatable views.

Spend the day on the lake fishing in the row boat or exploring on the paddle boat.

Once the last log burns out, head back inside to claim one of the queen beds in the bedrooms or two bunk beds in the basement. . The queen futon on the landing offers additional sleeping for 2.

The best way to end the day is out around the fire pit with marshmallows and graham crackers ready to go. Away from the bright city lights, you`ll have an incredible view of the night sky for stargazing as the fire slowly begins to dim

You will have access to the full home, yard, fire pit area and lakefront. We have a paddle boat and row boat for the lake. Life jackets required. Some are provided in the small mini barn.

Our neighbor is home during the summer and loves to help if you need anything. Our cleaning lady is just a few minutes away.

Our neighborhood is very quiet and the houses are well spaced. Please be respectful of our neighbors and go very slow. Our neighbor is blind, but is very active.

You will love the quietness of the area, but able to get to town within 15 minutes for any supplies.

What a TREAT!

The cabin was perfect for our snowmobiling trip. Plenty of room to park our 4 place trailer and easy access to the trails. Gas and food nearby. Lots of room inside the cabin with everything we needed to cook big meals. Washer and dryer were a plus and the jacuzzi was excellent. I bet it's really nice in the summer right off the lake. Highly recommend this cabin retreat!

Great cabin on lake

The property was as described in listing and had plenty of room for our party of 7 adults. The location is great. Shinglestore is a 5min drive to get provisions and Munising is only 20min away. The lake is good fishing too. We caught bass, pike and panfish and had a fish fry. No A/C is not a drawback. The cabin stayed comfortable using the fans provided.

Location, Views & Convenience

Exploring Pictured Rocks was the goal of this first trip to the Upper Peninsula. Location was central and on a waterfront with gorgeous views. The house was modern with amenities most useful to us were jacuzzi tub, hot tub, fire pit, updated kitchen, washer/dryer. We missed central air during the hotter days, but were cooler in the lower level. Bedrooms on second floor would have benefitted with portable air conditioners.

Beautiful Cabin with a View

Our group of friends loved our stay at this Boot Lake cabin. The pictures do not do it justice, the interior is truly excellent. The views of the lake at sunrise and sunset, either from the balcony or hot tub, end-capped each of our days. We were able to drive into Munising or hit up the various Pictured Rocks trails with a quick 20-minute drive but the cabin was secluded enough to feel like we had our own space to hang out and catch up. The rowboats were an added bonus that our group especially enjoyed out on the lake.

Great cabin & lake!

This is a great cabin and lake! The lake was quiet and great for paddleboarding. The cabin’s deck has a great view and a nice table and chairs. My dad appreciated the good, solid stairs down to the lake. The living room has comfortable furniture, sliding glass doors to the wide deck and big windows above those. We prepped several meals in well equipped kitchen. Beds are fine, too, we could have brought more people! It is an easy (approx 20 minute) drive to Munising and many Lake Superior attractions. Our host was very quick to respond to our question about the hot tub.

The cabin was beautiful! The view was amazing.

We had such a wonderful time. The cabin was perfectly clean and fully stocked. I could sit on the deck all day and enjoy the view. The bed were so comfy and my daughters loved the upstairs bedroom. There is nothing I would change.
