The apartment is situated at Lungotevere Ripa 6 in front of Isola Tiberina.It is located on the fifth floor of an elegant building, Elevator, doorman building. Privacy and safety guaranteed.
Broadband WiFi in all rooms and terraces. AC installed in March 2021.
With 1300 sq feet this awesome apartment is both light and airy.
Elevator, top floor, large windows, high ceilings, beautiful terrace with great views, 2 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms.
I enjoy cooking so the kitchen is fully stocked with equipment (and pantry items which you are very welcome to use if needed). Blender, KitchenAid food processor, Dualit toaster, Le Creuset, dishwasher, microwave, American style coffee machine, espresso moka, etc
A Washer inside the apartment (detergent etc supplied) iron and ironing board. A Roomba is under the coach in the kitchen.

This is the perfect apartment to accommodate 5 people with room for more if need be.

iPhone with local sim card and internet connection available for your entire stay upon request as well as a personal chef or cleaning service.

Surrounding street are flooded with bars, restaurants and exciting nightlife yet the apartment is quiet.
Trastevere is the soul of Rome. There is art, food, shopping and entertainment.
You'll be in the heart of the city where everything is walking distance:
Cicus Maximus, the Colosseum, the Mouth of Truth, the Jewish Ghetto, Saint Peter's Basilica, the Vatican Museum, Piazza Venezia, the Forum, Campo dei Fiori , Spanish Steps- all but a few minutes away.

I've been living in Rome for 20 years and I'd be more than happy to share with you all of its hidden treasures.

IMPORTANT:
This is a property registered by municipality as Home for Holidays it has therefore all official licenses and insurances required by local laws. From March 30th 2018, Municipality require a 3.50 euros CITY TAX per night per person for a maximum of 10 nights (if your stay is longer you just have to pay 10 nights). Children under age of 10 exempted.
This amount has to be collected by host in cash upon arrival

If you are looking for the perfect place to stay in Trastevere, look no further. This apartment is in an excellent location, and is filled with Italian charm and beautiful views. You can walk to most main attractions in about 30 minutes. The space in the apartment was perfect for a family of 4, not to mention the ability to do laundry and relax in an air conditioned appartment! Our family really really enjoyed seeing how Trastevere came alive at night, with all the places to eat. There are many excellent spots to eat and grocery shop within a 10 minute walk. We made a few meals, and the kitchen had everything we needed.Alberto was an excellent host, and always reachable to answer any questions, or make recommendations on where to eat or shop.I have nothing but positives to say about our stay at Alberto’s place in Trastevere.

Loved our stay here!

We chose this place because of the two separate sleeping areas since we were traveling with my parents, and it couldn't have been better. Right on the edge of a great neighborhood with tons of food options, easy to walk into the heart of the Centro Storico, close to great coffees and cafes. The owner was wonderful and quick to respond to booking, requests and other helpful advice.

Wonderful neighborhood location in Rome

This apartment was located in a wonderful neighborhood but still a easy walk to all of the historical locations. We enjoyed meals at the local restaurants and the feel of a neighborhood versus staying in the middle of the city. Alberto was an excellent host, response time was immediate on any questions and his home was very inviting.

The apartment was as delightful as the many special sites in Rome

The apartment was lovely with views that made you want to stay there rather than see the sites! The kitchen was well-provisioned and the beds comfortable. Lots of natural light in the summer through charming windows, which made for some heat, so the fans and shades provided helped that. Alberto was helpful in responding to any questions or issues. We enjoyed our stay!

A Delight in Trastevere

This absolutely beautiful apartment is one of the best vacation homes we've stayed in. A terrific place to live while experiencing everything Rome has to offer. The newly added air conditioner was able to handle 100F days while keeping us nice and cool. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you'd need to cook at home. The speaker system in the living room is an amazing touch for relaxing at home. Several lovely pieces of art and a beautiful porch fill out the unique design.

Impressive apartment and perfectly located!

This lovely apartment was perfect for our 5-day stay in Rome. It was very comfortable, spacious, and clean and had an eclectic old-world charm that allowed us to feel like we were actually living in Rome (not just visiting). It is centrally located, and we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to visit, including the ancient sites and the Vatican and St. Peter’s. Alberto was very responsive and helpful when we had questions, and he provided well-organized written information, illustrated with pictures. Quaint streets with restaurants, shops, ATMs and a little grocery were right around the corner. Great views from the kitchen and living room windows of rooftops in the Trastevere neighborhood were a bonus. We highly recommend this apartment!

Riverside apartment

We really enjoyed staying at Alberto’s place. He has a great eye for design. Great views across Travestere. Spacious well appointed kitchen. Comfortable beds and cute terrace space for morning coffee. Note that apartment does not have air conditioning if you are visiting in the hot temperatures of the summer but there are fans for each room and being high up, there are breezes through the open windows.

Perfect place to stay during your visit to Rome

Alberto's condo worked out great for us. We loved the Trastervere neighborhood with all the outdoor restaurants and shops. The location was great as we were able to walk everywhere - including to the Vatican and Colloseum areas. His apartment is spacious and bright, and well maintained. We are a family of four with 2 teenagers and found the space to be perfect. We enjoyed the private outdoor deck area also. Alberto responded to any questions we had very quickly. He arranged transportation for us from the airport to his apartment and then again, from his apartment to Rome's train station. We arrived late on a Saturday after the grocery stores were closed so he purchased some food for us in advance, which was greatly appreciated especially after a very long day of travel. I would recommend the Trastervere area over other areas such as the Spanish Steps because it isn't as crowded, but it is still a lively and fun area with lots to do, and you are close enough to walk to all of Rome's famous sites. I would highly recommend staying at Alberto's condo.

Amazing apartment in the perfect location!

We just got back from 7 nights in Rome and cannot say enough good things about our stay and our host - Alberto! We had planned this trip and paid for the apartment back in March 2020, but then the pandemic hit a week before our travel dates. Amazingly, Alberto offered to honor our payment for a trip in the future. After 4 years of trying to free up our calendar, we finally made it happen and it was worth the wait. I cannot remember a time when I found a place that was better in person than the pics on the listing, but this place was! Funky artwork, lots of space, big windows looking out over Trastevere, a legit espresso machine…you could not ask for more. But then we discovered the neighborhood around it. Within a 5 min walk, you can find more bars and restaurants than you can visit. If that isn’t enough, you can get to major sites like the Forum, Jewish Ghetto or the Coliseum within 15-20 mins. Alberto was always available with suggestions when we needed them. He even coordinated our car ride from the airport. Bottom line - if you want to relax and enjoy Rome, you should book Alberto’s place!

Alberto was so helpful for us when we needed him unexpectedly. He arranged for an airport transfer with a private company when the public transportation strike was announced. We had a lovely place to call home and a stress free departure. Trastevere is full of great restaurants and a short walk across the river to ancient Rome sights.

Beautiful, Artistic and Spacious Apartment

My family of four stayed here for five nights in July. It was important to us to have air conditioning, a great kitchen to cook in, an outdoor space to enjoy in the evenings, a washing machine, plenty of space for each person to relax, and within walking distance to all of the sites. This apartment had all of that plus more! Alberto was very responsive and a wonderful host. The apartment is so bright and colorful…with beautiful and fun artwork! We had some of our best meals in the neighborhood. We could easily walk right over the bridge and all the major sites were right there. It was the perfect place for my family to stay and we have many great memories from this trip!

Things started off very rocky. The place wasn’t cleaned, no hot water, backed up sinks and drains. However, after communicating with the owner he made everything right. He was very attentive.

Trastevere Rome

Alberto was a great host. Quick replies to any queries. Spacious apartment for family in a great location. However listed as 3 bathrooms which is not entirely correct. The second double bedroom has a very small 1m X 1m wetroom with toilet, shower with very slow drainage and tiny basin. There is no door to the wetroom.Overall, a great place to stay in Rome..

Superb Apartment in Rome

This apartment is an ideal retreat for a couple looking to relax and enjoy the charm of Trastevere and the broader wonders of Rome. It’s spacious, full of light and fresh air, and beautifully decorated with artwork and books that give it a warm, personal feel. The second bedroom is perfect if you’re traveling with a guest, and all of the furniture is very comfortable.The apartment features excellent WiFi, a high-quality flatscreen TV, and a great sound system. The fully equipped kitchen made it easy to cook when we wanted to stay in. Large windows throughout offer stunning views of Rome and swing open to let in abundant sunlight and refreshing breezes.Though we visited in April and didn’t need to use the A/C or heat, the climate inside was perfect. The apartment is on the sixth floor, accessible by elevator, which made coming and going easy.The location is quiet yet central—Trastevere’s vibrant restaurants are just steps away, and the historic city center is just across the river. All major sites are within walking distance; we averaged five miles a day exploring on foot. The Forum and Colosseum are less than half a mile away, and taxis or Ubers are easy to find if you want to venture farther.We’ve stayed in many VRBOs, and this is truly one of the best. Our host, Alberto, was wonderful—responsive, thoughtful, and clearly passionate about his home. He has created a beautiful space in Trastevere, and we’re so grateful to have experienced it. Thank you, Alberto!

Wonderful neighborhood

This was a charming place. It was about a 20-30 minute walk to the Colosseum and an easy cab ride to the Vatican. There were lots of places to eat right around the corner. Great location!

Why they chose this property

I moved from my birthtown Florence to Rome in the eighties, since then I've lived in different areas of Rome till I found this fantastic apartment and I just stop searching furthermore.It is bright! Large windows, any room is literally flooded with light, it is full of good and positive energy. The view on Trastevere rooftops from 5th floor is unique! Sunsets are breathtaking.The neighbours are cool, the cafes and restaurants are the best and most tipycal you can find in the city.Too much to be kept only for my own pleasure so come and enjoy!

What makes this property unique

Forget about your car, from here you can just walk to anywhere. Name some worldwide famous place and you will be there in minutes. The mouth of truth is right across the Palatino Bridge in front of the apartment, not to mention Vatican and Colosseum 15 minutes walk from the main door of the apartment.
