Walk to San Diego Bay and Ocean Beach. Several restaraunts, bars, and grocery a shops within a few blocks.

Awesome studio unit w/ private entry. Full kitchen, fridge, complete with pots, pans, and all utensils. Brand new Cal King Bed and fold out couch to sleep 3 people (max 2 adults and 1 child). Full bathroom with shower. Linens and towels provided. Private entrance, private fenced yard for studio only. Parking space in driveway. LOCATION IS EVERYTHING. 1.5 MI to airport, 4 MI to Convention Center, 2.5 MI to Sea World, 4.5 MI to Zoo, 4 MI to Gaslamp Quarter, walking distance to Pt. Loma Naval base, San Diego Bay, grocery store & restaurants.

We love animals; unfortunately, for serious health reasons (asthma and allergies documented with doctor note), we ask that guests do not bring animals on to the property. We kindly ask that guests respect this request to help protect the health of those on site.

Comfortable Spot in a Great Location

Our stay in Stacy's studio was very comfortable. Point Loma is a nice part of San Diego and convenient to all points, as well as the airport. Studio was clean, and Stacy was easy to access via text. The only small problem was that the bed is pushed into a corner. Not a problem for singles or those under 60. For those of us older folks, crawling across or up from the bottom of the bed got to be tiresome. I have already recommended this place for other family members planning to visit San Diego.

Great price! Great location! Great host!

We had a great time staying here. The location is great. 3 minute bike ride to the bay. A grocery store within quick walking distance. Stacy was a great host. She had great local suggestions for food and fun. If I had one negative thing to say is that the fold down futon bed is a little hard but is great for a small child. We will definitely be back.

There were many positives but the studio smelt of smoke, Mold and pets, I had an asthma attack.

The check in and directions were great, although I would not call the location Fleet Ridge. The studio was spacious and would be great if you had a pet. The bed was very comfortable but the rest of the studio was very worn out. Furniture looked like bad ‘goodwill’ collection. The studio was surface clean but smelt of smoke, mold and pets. I think the carpet needs replacing. The backyard, small but perfect for dog was dirty weedy and dusty. Stacie was helpful and studio is convenient to shops and main road.

A few clarifications: Fleetridge is the location that the GPS puts on the listing and is 100% accurate. There have not been pets or smoking in the unit…at all. The carpet has been replaced. Yay! Not the most modern renovation, but it’s a typical San Diego beach unit (looks exactly like the pictures!)

Home away from home!

Stacy was an amazing host during my stay there. I stayed at the property for about a month and would certainly do it again. Half a block from a grocery store that is open 24 hours a day and close to a ton of fun things to do in point loma. I have stayed at different locations in point loma and this property has been my favorite. Stacy was very welcoming and incredibly knowledgeable of the area and things to do. I wish I had more time there. 10/10

Why they chose this property

LOCATION. LOCATION. LOCATION. This is the perfect place to stay for people who are temporarily working in San Diego (quiet and private with reliable internet). It's also nice because you have your own patio and small yard, so you feel like you have some room to move. It's great if you're traveling without a vehicle because it's close to EVERYTHING. Whether you need to be close to the airport, near the convention center, next to downtown, by the Point Loma Naval Base, they are all within two miles. Also, it is near the Gaslamp Quarter for nightlife, and it's within a few miles of Sea World and the Zoo. It is also walking distance (4 blocks) the Harbor at San Diego Bay/Shelter Island for fishing, whale watching, paddle boarding, great restaurants and bars and more. There is also a grocery store, Starbucks, and McDonalds, and city bus stop just one block away. This place is simple and affordable, it has an entrance around the side of the garage, and there is a small private patio and fenced yard where you can drink your morning coffee. There is off-street parking for one car in the driveway.

Interaction with Guests
This unit is unique because it feels quite separate from the house. Most guests enjoy the ability to come and go in privacy on their own hours without feeling like they are an inconvenience. I let guests take advantage of this autonomy-especially for weary travelers who just want to get a key and go to sleep. Of course, I am happy to answer any questions that guests may have and will help as much as desired!


Getting around

There is a bus stop at the corner of the street. Buses also run to the Old Town trolley station, which is only 2.4 miles away.
