The house was small but enough for us 3 adults and a teenager, clean, everything was exactly as in the photos, no major complaints for our 3-day stay, everything was fine, the area was very nice, there are souvenir shops, I recommend it
Very clean accommodation. Lots of cooking utensils. Heating was good. Brilliant location for the village. Loved all the lamps in living area..it was very cosy. Christmas tree and pressies lovely.
A small and cosy space to stay, ideal for walking from the doorstep around the beautiful Lizard peninsula. Bunk beds only really suitable for small children, young teens perhaps.

Thank you for your kind review. So glad you enjoyed your stay. I just want to say for any future guests reading this that the bunk beds are full adult single bed size and specification (up to 15 stone in weight and 6ft 3ins in length). We have had adult guests use the bunk beds without any problems.
Lizard Village is beautiful with many lovely walks around.
Accommodation was good, very clean instruction was clear and in advance before arrival.
Kitchen in the conversatory is not ideal in hot weather, but owners done their best to fit everything in limited space.
We had nice break. Thank you.
We spent wonderful holidays in this Cottage. The location allows one to explore the peninsula without the need to take your car to reach the coastal paths. Located in a quiet street of the charming Lizard village, it has everything to feel comfy and cosy. We were lucky to enjoy springy weather and therefore could spend time in the lovely garden reading or just listening to birds. Still cool at night though which gave us the opportunity to have fromantic evenings by the log burner.
There were only the two of us but we'd reckon the Cottage is spacious enough for 4 people.
The communication with the owner was faultless and the check-in and out processes clearly explained.
We warmly recommand this accomodation which gives you incredible value for money besides the luxury of staying in a house with a lot of charm due to it being a place where Cornwall serpentine rock was being processed.
We'll definitely consider coming back !
Kleines gut eingerichtetes Cottage. sauber, kleiner garten.
Top Aufenthalt, gerne wieder!
Great value compared to others in area. A delightful place we stayed in September you could go on loads of walks from the cottage . The small garden caught the sun most of the day. We also found easy to explore further away in car. Loved it

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at The Stoneturners Cottage. It was very clean and felt very homely and cosey. The kitchen was really well equipped. We could see the lighthouse and loved the many walks around The Lizard. I'd highly recommend this beautiful cottage and picturesque surroundings.

Clean, tidy and cosy
Could not fault the cottage, very clean and everything you needed was there. The cottage is small for four adults, they would find it very snug. Only downside was the fog horn from the lighthouse, it would keep a light sleeper awake if it was going. Lovely walks and costal paths. Walkers and hikers paradise.

Thank you for your comments.
We are so glad you liked the cottage but are sorry you didn't like the fog horn of the Lizard Lighthouse, which we have no control over. Most of our guests find this quite soothing at night, and it can even help them sleep, but we understand this may not appeal to everyone. The fog horn only sounds when visibility is poor and most of the time it is silent.
The cottage is ideal for 2 adults or a couple with 2 children and the majority of guests falling into this category find the cottage large enough for their needs. In fact many of our guests like the fact that the cottage is cosy and snug.
