Villa Cerretalta is in a wonderful position on a small hill surrounded by Brunello vineyards, within the national park of Val D'Orcia. The 7 bedroom, 6 bath property is set between the cities of Montalcino and San Quirico D'Orcia (both are about 10 km away), yet in few minutes you can reach the little town of Torrenieri (5 km) where you can find the nearest shops, supermarket and restaurants.
The owner occasionally uses the independent building nearby and whilst respecting your privacy will be at your disposal if you should need any help.
Cerretalta is completely surrounded by hedges and fences to guarantee total privacy. Nonetheless, you have a wonderful sight over the countryside.
Once you enter the gateway, there is a large courtyard plenty of tables and chairs at guests’ disposal as well as the brick barbeque. Across the court there is a lovely area with a big round stone table and matching benches sheltered from the sun by a pergola. Here there is also a second way out from the property, down a stone staircase and through a small iron gate.
There are two garden areas.
The first one is bordered by mature trees, should the guests enjoy a peaceful shady lawn, and it is situated next to a white travertine floored space with tables, chairs and parasol. This is the perfect location where you can have your meals, while taking in the beautiful view over the surrounding farmland.
From here, few stone steps lead to the second garden that is located near the poolside. A small gate possibly delimits the way so as to prevent little children from reaching the swimming-pool area without permission. Some fruit trees, flowers and shrubs brighten the place and there is also a gazebo with table and chairs. An extensive hedge marks the limits of the patch.

The seventh bathroom of the property is situated here at the poolside. In addition there is also an outdoor shower. Baby bed and highchair available on site free of charge.

Motor vehicle access to the house: 3 km via unpaved road.
Extra Services There are 2 mountain bikes available on site to pay on the spot as well as babysitting, maid service, and chef service, all to be paid locally on the spot.

Ground floor: from the courtyard you enter a large hallway that leads through archways to the other rooms. The kitchen is equipped with cabinets, a built-in gas hob, dishwasher, microwave oven, fridge/freezer and washing machine. There is also a wooden table with marble top and a few chairs. There is a huge lounge room with four characteristic brick columns, several seating areas with armchairs and sofas, a brick built fireplace, a large wooden dining table with many chairs and two other smaller tables. A big arched wooden double door leads to the courtyard. Another room with a brick column in the centre is for leisure use and it includes a billiard-table and a table football. Next to the kitchen there is also a bathroom with shower. A brick built internal staircase leads to the first floor.

First floor: as soon as you walk up the stairs, there is a lovely small area with a two-seat sofa. A long corridor with typical Sienese terracotta tiled floor leads to five bedrooms and two bathrooms, one with an open shower and the other with bathtub. Three of the five bedrooms have en suite bathrooms with shower; one of them also has an independent entrance from a lovely balcony through an external staircase. Across the hallway there is a sizable dining room. The main characteristic of this space is a large brick built open fireplace, in addition to a big wooden table and a smaller one, many chairs, two armchairs and the TV set. This room has also an independent entry from the courtyard through the main external flight of stairs. An original ancient wide arch (that has been recovered during the restoration of the house) opens into the fully equipped kitchen with gas hob, oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, cupboards and a stone working-top. At one side of the dining room, two doors lead to other two bedrooms, both with en suite, fully-equipped bathroom.

All the seven bedrooms have traditional terracotta tiled floor as well as tiled and beamed ceiling.
They are spacious and well furnished with typical wooden wardrobes, chests of drawers and side tables.
In detail there are:

- 3 double bedrooms with en suite bathroom with shower (one of them is convertible into twin at previous request).
- 1 twin bedroom (convertible into double at previous request), in front of the bathroom with the open shower.

Each of the eight bathrooms has mirror and fitted cabinets with hairdryer.
One with hand-basin, WC and shower is situated on the ground floor.
On the first floor there are six bathrooms with shower and a bathroom with bathtub. All of them are fully equipped with bidet.
The ninth bathroom of the property is situated at the poolside, where in addition there is also an outdoor shower.
