The perfect place for a family holiday!

We had a wonderful week at Santé Fe with our family of six adults and four children, ranging in age from two to 11. Mr and Mrs Bothmer believe in catering for children so that their parents can have a relaxing time and consequently they have created a paradise for children. The indoor swimming pool was a hit with everyone. The children loved the fact that they could go into the water regardless of the weather outside. Our four year old loved it the best of all because it helped her to develop water confidence. They have a wonderful variety of toys to suit all ages in the playroom - dolls, with all the paraphernalia for pretend play, building bricks for construction, dinosaurs and animals, Carson’s lorries etc. Plus for older children, there is table football and a pinball machine. Outside there is a large garden with a climbing frame, trampoline and table tennis. Lots of things to occupy children of all ages. The house is spacious with a wonderful views across the quaint, medieval village of Le Castellet and down to the sea. The kitchen is brand-new and much better than mine at home. Our hosts could not have been more accommodating. When they realised we would be arriving after the supermarkets had closed, they asked for a list and bought food for us. When they realised that we were flying out of Marseille late in the evening, they let us use the house until late in the afternoon. They are charming and very kind. I highly recommend this property to all!

Great place for families.

This is a great villa for families with children, we were a party of 6 adults and 4 children. Outside there is a climing frame with swings and slide, a large trampoline, a table tennis table and lots of sit and ride wheeled toys. For the adults there is a large sunbathing terrace set in pretty gardens, a new Webber b-b-q and a boules pitch. Leading off the terrace, through large glass sliding doors, is the indoor heated swimming pool which was a great hit with all the family. Inside, the ground floor has 2 twin bedrooms and one bunk room (4 beds) which has an ensuit shower room (but no toilet) There is also a family shower room, with toilet, on this floor which is accessable from the pool. The bunk room also has a play area with masses of toys, much utilised by the 4 children in our party. Upstairs there are 2 twin bedrooms with ensuits and an additional toilet. There is also a large, recently fitted, kitchen with 2 sinks, 2 ovens and 2 large fridges. It has all the appliances you could need and huge selection of pots and pans etc. The living diniing room is also on this floor. It has a lovely view of the counrtyside and the medieval village of Le Castellet. Patio doors lead to a terrace which has a long table for 12 with chairs and a beautiful view at sunset. It is an easy walk to Le Castelett where there are several bars and restaurants (and good ice cream) There is also a nearby (easy walk) vinyard where we went wine tasting. Further afield we drove to Sanary sur Mer, (15 km) a lovely seaside town which also has things for kids like electric car racing, crazy golf etc. Another day we drove to an adventure park called Le Bois des Lutins (45km) where the kids spent the day on bouncy castles and climing nets in the trees. The owner is very friendly and a couple of minor problems were fixed almost immediately. In all a great place for a family holiday.

Séjour vraiment parfait

La villa est parfaitement équipée pour que chacun y trouve son compte, adulte et enfant (surtout le flipper), et très sécurisée pour les bébés. À cela s'ajoute l'emplacement idéal avec le village du castellet accessible a pied, le grand jardin, la piscine couverte. Klaus était très réactif et disponible pour répondre à nos questions. Nous avons pu utiliser le four a pizza et le barbecue à gaz sans souci grâce à ses indications. Un sejour vraiment parfait pour nous, nous recommandons sans hésiter !

Das Haus ist absolut zu empfehlen. Die Kinder waren begeistert und die Erwachsenen konnten die Auszeit in vollen Zügen genießen. Die Umgebung ist wunderschön und zum Strand ist es nicht weit. Der Vermieter war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Gerne wieder!

Merveilleux sejour

Nous avons passé une semaine à trois familles dans cette maison ( 6 adultes et 6 enfants) Le paradis pour les enfants ( intérieur et extérieur ) et pour les adultes.. Le village du Castellet est accessible à pied et visible depuis la terrasse… La piscine couverte est un plus lorsque la pluie s invite en vacances.. et que le vent souffle.. elle est parfaite.. Un beau séjour dans une belle maison

La maison est parfaite pour accueillir une grande famille avec des enfants. Très fonctionnelle avec tout ce qu’il faut pour les grands et les petits. Nous avons été très bien accueillis. La piscine couverte est un vrai plus pour les enfants en bas age. Seul petit bémol : la literie pourrait être plus confortable et plus adaptée à des adultes. Pas de lit double dans la maison mais des lits simples avec encadrement.

Great holiday

This was our second visit to this great, well equipped, villa. We were a party of grandparents, parents and grandchildren and there was something for everyone. The 6 children ranged in age from 1 year to 9 years and they enjoyed the trampoline, climbing frame, swings and numerous toys provided. The adults played pétanque and in the evenings we got out the board games. Of course we all enjoyed the heated pool! I would highly recommend this villa for a family holiday.

Les Plus : propriétaire très sympathique et arrangeant maison très bien équipée pour les enfants en intérieur comme en extérieur une vue imprenable sur le Castellet de grands espaces communs et la piscine chauffée évidemment Les moins: aucune décoration et mobilier premier prix qui a déjà bien vécu literie de base, linge de maison vraiment ancien un évier bouché, pas mal d'ampoules qui ne marchaient pas, la paroie de la douche qui est bloquée la maison est bien mais vraiment vieillotte et sans charme, elle mérite un vrai coup de neuf pour justifier le prix de la location

Nous vous remerciement de votre appréciation 4/5 ; elle mérite une réponse : 1. Décoration : nous avons tout enlevé, car, dès fois, les enfants jouent au ballon dans la maison et il y a de la casse. Nous allons remettre les tableaux/posters. 2. Le mobilier du salon est récent (moins de 12 mois). Les sommiers seront remplacés. Les matelas sont de bonne qualité. Nous remplaçons régulièrement le linge des lits – j’ai un stock énorme. 3. Evier bouché : avec un produit DESTOP EXPRESS, cela m’a pris 10 minutes pour déboucher l’évier. En partant, vos prédécesseurs n’ont pas signalé l’évier bouché, alors pourquoi avez-vous vécu pendant votre séjour de 6 jours avec cette contrainte ? Peut-être, parce que la maison est équipé de 2 éviers ? Je vous ai informé dès l’arrivée que je n’habite que 3 maisons plus loin et que je suis disponible. D’ailleurs, vous m’avez fait venir pour une applique sans signaler l’évier bouché. 4. Ampoules : règle générale – au fur et à mesure que les spots halogènes crament, nous les remplaçons systématiquement par des spots LED – j’ai une bonne trentaine en stock. Dans toute la maison, il y a 95 spots – après votre départ, nous en avons remplacé 4. Cela a pris 20 minutes. Les appliques de la chambre ouest fonctionnent, mais sont fragiles. Je les ai déjà remplacées par des lampes de chevet LED en stock. Les chambres du rez-de-chaussée sont déjà équipées avec ces LED. 5. Paroi douche bloquée à cause du calcaire : il fallait le signaler ; en utilisant un spray silicone la paroi douche glisse à merveille après 5 secondes. 6. Aspect général : vous avez raison, un coup de peinture peut être programmé.
