The Space

At 1,650 sq. ft., this second-floor beachfront condo sleeps 9 comfortably across three spacious bedrooms and three full bathrooms — with room to breathe for the whole group. The open-concept living and dining area looks directly out over the Gulf, so the view is never more than a glance away.
The kitchen is genuinely impressive — a 6-burner Bosch induction range, GE Monogram refrigerator, built-in microwave drawer, and a designer dry bar that anchors the space. Whether you’re making breakfast before a beach day or hosting a sunset dinner inside, this kitchen can handle it.

The Bedrooms

The primary suite features a custom king bed with built-in reading lights and USB ports on each side, a soaking tub, and a walk-in shower that feels more spa than condo. It was a family vacation, my husband and I as well as our daughter with her family, plus our son who flew in from NYC for part of the trip. It's been years(over 20) since we stayed in the PCB area during spring break. But I have to say at this end of Front Beach Road it's very quite and the beach was not crowded at all. The condo was at the best end of PCB if you want family time not noise and lots of people. But it's close to action if that is what you want. It was beautiful place to stay, right on the beach. The kids could walk back to condo if they wanted too. Every night we sat on our private balcony and watched the waves on a sectional and chairs that were so comfortable. Each morning we had coffee in the same place. The owners have gone all out on the remodel it is so comfortable and nicely decorated. The kitchen table held all 7 of us for dinner and we were not crowded at all. The kitchen is very workable, with a huge island and bar stools. I was afraid it would be cramped as we usually rent houses. But this three bedroom and 3 bath was very comfortable. David the property manager couldn't have been nicer even telling us where best pizza could be found and where to rent chairs if we needed to. Which we didn't as the condo had a outside closet full of chairs and other beach items. The condo had a lot of space and the bedrooms were situated perfectly. We would rent here again. Our family loved it!

The location is one of the best on the beach to relax and avoid the crowds. Yes, proximity to local destinations is convenient with just 2.4 miles to Pier Park and only short drive to scenic 30A. Great beach

Perfect beachfront location. Beach behind the condo was not busy at all during a very busy spring break season. Beach 1/4 mile down the way where the high rises are was busy. Condo has not been updated in some time, but this place is more about the outside than the inside.

Great location

Highly recommend staying down on the Bonita beach side of Panama beach. It was never crowded or loud in that area with children. It was also next to Thomas dounts we walked there every morning. I went on a walk every morning to Laguna beach coffee shop and they had great lattes. I just loved how in the morning when I was up before everyone I could go on a walk and get coffee and donuts for the family and it was crowed with cars or people like downtown Panama City can be. Another thing I would add that is the grocery store down the street you can get everything you need without going to the big name stores that are usually busy anytime after 8am. We will definitely be coming back to this location year after year.

Bonita Beach #12 May/June 2023

We did a friends trip down to PCB to enjoy some nice relaxing time together. Bonita Beach #12 was just as amazing as the pictures provided on the website. It had all the most modern luxuries. One of our favorites was the heated toilet seat in the master bath. (Things you don't realize you are missing out on) LOL! You walk right out your back door, down the stairs, and are directly on the beach, which is very quiet and laid back. Plenty of chairs and other beach items for a fun day at the beach are located in the closet on the porch. Furniture in living area was very comfortable and plenty of room for large parties to sit down and eat. David the property manager is awesome! He took my calls and texted back and forth any time we had questions. I would give this condo a 5 star rating!! You will not regret staying here and enjoying the beautiful beaches of Panama City!

Great Family Accommodations

My family of 4 (me, wife and 2 adult girls) stayed here recently. We almost went to a hotel, but the lure of a larger space was too appealing. This unit was very comfortable. We all had elbow room and privacy. The unit is in a great location away from the high rise hotels and condos. The beach was peaceful and away from the larger crowds. Most of the people on the beach were from the adjoining units, so you can get to know your neighbors.... if you want to. The view of the beach from the balcony (newly renovated) was awesome. And the balcony is set up to be very private. The unit itself was very comfortable. The kitchen, while maybe a little dated, had everything we needed, and all of the appliances worked fine. We couldn't ask for anything more. The reserved parking spot for the unit is directly in front of the unit. There are stairs to get to this unit (no elevators). But the view from the second floor is worth the climb. We normally rent a different unit from David (the manager). It is at the other end of PCB. But since this was a last minute trip and the usual unit was already rented, David set us up with this one. He knows what we like and his suggestion was perfect. The customer service from David is always awesome. If you stay here, you must try Buddy's Seafood (nearby on Hwy. 79). They steamed some fresh shrimp for us with some corn on the cob and potatoes. It is "to go" only. I purchased more than they suggested for 4 people and brought it back to the unit. We kept eating until it was all gone. Delicious and reasonably priced. And the Key Lime pie was excellent.

Out-of-this-world location!

We are truly sad that our week went by so quickly! After reading reviews, we knew the property(according to some)may need a little updating, but we thought it was perfect. The location is amazing! The beach is not as populated as the eastern part of the city and being able to walk right out the door to the beach was splendid. The condo was very clean and there were brooms and a vacuum for us to use to keep it tidy. We brought our own crockpot to make a few meals & there were plenty of supplies for the other meals we made. It would be perfect if there was a grill, but it isn't allowed in this area so no fault of the owner. Having 3 full bathrooms was very nice. There isn't a tv in the master bedroom, but I don't watch tv so it wasn't a problem. What I didn't know, is there is a closet on the balcony with body boards, umbrellas, sand buckets & sand toys, chairs, etc. We brought all of our own stuff, but thought I would mention it bc I definitely would have not brought our own sand buckets & sand toys had I known(I would still bring my own chairs & canopy). We seriously loved it and definitely plan to come back. David was VERY patient answering all of my questions and I had a lot being a first time VRBO user. I'm so glad we went this route. Did I mention the location? If I were going to have any suggestions it would be to have taller chairs on the balcony bc the ones on there now are eye level with the rail so you have to stand up if you're looking at dolphins passing by. Also, there's a couch bed, which we didn't need, but one night my younger sons wanted to use it, but there was no bedding for it. Again, not a big deal for us because they didn't have to use it, but if we had needed it, it would have been a problem. I would not hesitate to rent this condo again and would recommend it to anyone. If you're coming to the area, I'll list a few of the really fun things we did in case you're looking for recommendations: Paradise Adventures adventure tour(shell Island, inflatables, snorkeling, kayaks, paddleboards, banana boats, dolphin tour all for a little bit more than the price of one banana boat ride on the beach), Seascreamer dolphin tour, and parasailing on the beach(go early bc it's first come first serve and they sell out fast and you'll have to wait a long time), Thomas's donuts(and ice cream) and A'more donuts and David's sno-balls. We have great memories to last a lifetime and we all want to come back(and never leave)!

Thanks so much for staying and glad you had a great time. We are putting a TV in the master bedroom after the 2020 rental season as the room has to be wired. There is a set of queen sheets, 2 pillows and a blanket for the sofa sleeper. They should have been in the guest bedroom closet or laundry closet. Not many people know about the West end of Panama City Beach not being congested and yet close to everything. The Laguna Beach area is awesome. See you all next time.

Rundown place in a great location

If proximity to the beach is your priority, this place is wonderful. The deck is peaceful. The sand isn't too crowded. The condo itself has seen better days. Patchy repairs, old dusty decor, rugs hiding stains, etc are the order of the day. To be sure, all the amenities are present and functional: doors lock, toilets flush, the washing machine and dishwasher work, etc. So if the condo being otherwise rundown isn't high priority to you but being RIGHT ON THE WATER is. This place will be just fine.

A great place to stay!

Bonita Beach Unit #12 is very nice. The living room/kitchen combination is very spacious and you can't beat the view looking thru the floor-to-ceiling windows facing the ocean. Bedrooms are spacious along with having a bathroom for each room was a plus; beds were very comfortable. The location is perfect; 5 minutes to Pier Park and restaurants and walking distance to Thomas Donuts. The complex is very quiet and peaceful; private entrance to the beach from the deck. Overall, its a great place to stay and my family will stay again at Bonita Beach Condos.
